Everything was clearly explained and the plan was clear. I am a type 2 diabetic and have the associated symptoms. I came in to treat my neuropathy which was going to be unbearable while we were on vacation in the UK in a few weeks from when I started treatment. I was able.to enjoy the vacation with my family to the fullest because my feet did not hurt. My Healthcare plan did not cover anything of this treatment. I paid out of pocket. And it was not inexpensive but the cost is minimal compared to the meds and the long term outlook when taking the drugs that the doctors reach for. I have struggled with a severe case of Carpal Tunnel nerve damage over 20 years. Even after suggested surgery it was of no relief. It has created issues of not being able to write my name with a pen or pencil. I cant tie shoelaces or button buttons. After 1 session with Active Chiro I knew immediately there was hope. My right hand has had in immediate difference in feeling sensation. Although my left needs considerable more sessions ,I am confident I will regain some form of improvement. I've been seeing Dr Brent for about 5 years now. I will continue to support him and his business faithfully during years to come, and here's why. 1. Friendly and courteous staff. 2. Knowledgeable, thorough, and caring doctor. 3. Variety of services offered is superb! They have so much more to offer than adjustments. 4. In the event of an emergency, Dr Brent does house calls! This came in handy when my former roommate woke up and couldn't move his neck one Saturday afternoon. Dr Brent came to my home same day, on a holiday weekend, right before he was due to travel out of town, and fixed my roommate right then and there. If that's not excellent service, I don't know what is! 5. There was a small glitch with their billing of my account recently, and I caught it when I looked at my account statement. When I brought it to their attention, they were super apologetic and rectified the situation with a full refund the same day. No questions asked! So, given my own experiences with this practice over the years, reading the other review on here from someone totally ragging on the entire business because of an honest mistake really upset me for them. I just don't buy it. They've worked so hard to get to where they're at, and it saddens me to read that awful review. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with every employee in the office every single time I'm there. I am a long time, reliable, and trustworthy customer and I cannot rave about Active Chiro enough! Hopefully my word will offset the other one, and you'll take my word for it. At my last visit, I told Dr. Brent that I was sure I needed a new bed pillow. I would wake up more mornings then not with neck pain. Dr. Brent showed me and let me try out 3 different styles he had in the office. 1 felt perfect and it WAS. I have slept on it for a few weeks now and have had no pain at all. I begin going here in January 2020, my husband begin going in September 2020. Both of us wanted to use our insurance but were persuaded to use their in-house financing: CHUSA, as they said this would be cheaper for us. It has recently come to light that they have been fraudulently charging our insurance company. When confronted by myself, as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield, they lied, they won't refund the extra thousands that they were paid so I am reporting them to the licensure board, the Better Business Bureau... Everywhere that I can. I wish there was a no star option. they also will adjust you but in order to keep you coming back they don't provide instructions for any stretching, it was recently brought to my attention that that is what a good chiropractor does. My first adjustment was in February 2019 and I noticed on the ride home that my throat felt obstructed. I had difficulty falling asleep that night because I felt as though I could not breathe. In hindsight, I should have immediately gone to an emergency room. Now many months later, I still have pain in my neck. Please reconsider before going to this chiropractor. I could barely walk into Active Chiropractic 5 weeks ago due to a painful sciatica. Dr. Brent spent time getting to know me and charting my back and back muscles. From there we spent time together going through the results and Dr. Brent was quick to suggest a plan to remedy my pain. He gave me personalized exercises to do at home, a personalized supplement plan, an orthopedic prescription for insoles for my shoes and sneakers, and of course, chiropractic adjustment.
