I wanted to change my family doctor because my current one is too far and inconvenient. Everything seemed fine--until ANOTHER DOCTOR ABRUPTLY WALKED INTO MY CONSULTATION and said she "RECOMMENDED" not switching doctors during pregnancy. But it wasn't a recommendation--it was a CLEAR REFUSAL. She DISMISSED MY REASONS and even claimed my current clinic was "only 20 minutes away," ignoring the fact that I DON'T DRIVE and SHE DOESN'T KNOW MY REALITY. Just because a street has "airport" in the name doesn't mean it's near the airport. The tension became overwhelming for me. I started feeling UNWELL--LIGHTHEADED, FAINTISH, and HYPERVENTILATING. I SAID I DID NOT FEEL WELL, and instead of helping or checking on me, THEY JUST LET ME WALK OUT. I LEFT TO FIND SAFETY WITH MY HUSBAND because I felt extremely overwhelmed and not SUPPORTED THERE. What kind of medical professionals SEE A PREGNANT WOMAN IN DISTRESS and DO NOTHING? THIS PLACE MAY BE ACCEPTING PATIENTS, BUT THEY ARE NOT PREPARED TO CARE. Dear Doctor, Just because you might have a car and everything feels '20 minutes away' to you, doesn't mean that's the reality for everyone. That is not a valid reason to DENY someone attention. My husband went to the clinic beforehand and clearly mentioned our intention to transfer care. They told him that they did not recommend him but that they were open to receiving me. So please don't speak about 'recommendations' when in reality, you were clearly refusing a consultation and dismissing my needs as a pregnant woman.

I had a workplace injury to which she would say things like 'it was a work injury so let their doctors deal with it' didn't put something on a very important script so the pharmacy wouldn't fill it for two weeks! How professional is that? How do you call yourself a dr? Toni the office manager is a complete piece of work. How she's a manager is beyond me. She's just a trash person and what rolls downhill? Well it all starts with her. Summerville has some stupid policy where you can't change dr internally. Even though requested and now that shenouda sent me a letter stating she won't see me anymore (because she's scared I'm onto her incompetence) I need to find a new dr office after 36 years. Very heartbroken to say the least. If you have any problems with apple hills because chances are you will; don't contact Toni the 'manager' because nothing will get done. I was at the pharmacy (3star) picking up meds and the waiting room was empty which is normal now and when I went outside I phoned the drs office and got a recording saying they were busy and couldn't take the call. BS. This is crazy. I've been going there about 8 yrs and it was hard to get an appointment but when you went in the waiting room was always full and 2 line ups at reception. Never seen that since they pulled their tails from between their legs and opened back up9. Apparently this was government recommended. People needed their drs more then than ever and you couldn't even phone. That location as I'm sure was same with others was prime for Drs to be working. They could have allowed a selected drs patients 1 at a time with masks which is still the case. Patients could have been controlled and told they would be asked to wait outside. I was so sick and ended up going to a clinic (opened) and the Dr came out to get more files as I was checking in and she saw me, stopped and asked what was wrong because I looked really bad and we talked for a few minutes and she said I'd have to wait my turn but she needed to see me so to pls wait. Quite a line up waiting.

First of all, why didn't she wonder why I was so early if that was really my appt time? No she just let me sit there. She must have seen that I wrote down on my requisition 9:10, I had the appt in my phone as 9:10 and at the office. No way I screwed that up, they made the mistake. I would never accept a 9:50 appt as I had to be at work. I waited another 10 minutes then took my requisition back as I had to get to work. They didn't even apologise, I won't be back to that location.

I had to take my 80 years old mother for an ultrasound and a mammogram to Dixie X-Ray, North York…read morelocation. My mother does not speak English so I had to translate for her at every step. The Ultrasound technician was extremely patient and helpful. On the other hand, the technician that did the mammogram, was rude, inpatient and she raised her voice at my mother. I wanted to tell her that if she yells in English, my mom won't understand her better. And after an "  o, my gosh " she started to pull and push my poor mother to try to get her in the right position. Tried to intervene, but she said that she will position her herself. I never thought that a mammogram could make my mother leave in tears.
