It always seems this place is so busy but there are times like today that the wait was 1.5 hours even with an appointment. The great clinic staff do their best to try and get everyone that wants to wait a chance to see a doctor. I've been here when people come in and demand to jump the queue while I've been seated waiting for 2 hours; some even make up bizarre stories. One never knows what to expect at any Walk-in Clinic and this place is no different. Anyhow, Dr. Mikail is a professional with great people skills. She takes the time to understand why I'm here rather than just hurrying up and writing a prescription so I can be on my way.

There's a pharmacy in the building on the same floor, which is convenient if you end up having to fill an Rx! It's physically a very small clinic, 8 chairs in the clinic, and a bench just outside the door. It wasn't too busy when I was there, relatively speaking, so everyone got a seat, with 2 to spare! I only had to wait 45 minutes, also great. Doc was very good too. This is definitely where I'm coming from now on when I don't feel like dragging my XL butt to west Oakville to visit my GP! AVOID this hospital at all cost…read more On Aug 5, 2025, Toronto Police 22nd Division took my severely delusional schizophrenic son from prison to this hospital emergency on his release from the prison. He was arrested and imprisoned because he had assaulted his older brother and me, his mother, while medicating himself with crystal meth. Almost three months time passed since that attack while he remained imprisoned without any treatment. The mental health nurses and the on-call emergency psychiatrist were all very disrespectful, rude, and angry with me. The psychiatrist literally told me and i quote "As the on-call emergency psychiatrist, my job is to admit and discharge patients." On my insistence, he kept my son overnight in the emergency mental health unit but released him the next morning before 10 AM without any assessment or treatment. My son and I walked out of the hospital together. My son is as much delusional as he was if not more delusional at the time he was arrested and imprisoned. I am helplessly watching my son being killed by the government that is eagerly punishing mentally ill people while denying them the treatment and care they deserve.

I was desperate for a decent walk-in clinic to fulfill my prescription because the others were either already closed or were not accepting walk-in patients for the day. the kind receptionist at square care medical centre told me that if I could make it in 15 mins then I would be able to get my prescription. because of the multiple locations they had, I had actually gone to another location that was about 10 minutes walk away, which resulted in me being a few minutes late. however, the doctor waited for me anyway, and needless to say he was just as kind and compassionate as the rest of the staff (the pharmacist too) and took me in as his last patient for the day. I was seen within minutes, the medications were dispensed very quickly by the pharmacist, the clinic was also clean and spacious. if there will be a family doctor within the clinic/medical group, I would absolutely come back and register myself!

My previous experiences with this hospital were not very good at all, quite the opposite and in the negative. This experience was much better, was able to hop around and find a wheelchair no problem. The staff were super friendly and worked with a sense of urgency, when it all was said and done, the visit took about 3 hours, the only thing that I have negative to say was that the doctor at the time read my xray wrong and I got a phone call the next day telling me very bad news. The hospital was very clean and bright. Lots of parking on site Transit options are the 123 and 80 buses, and the 15 with a bit of a walk from the mall.

An urgent care centre (UCC) provides care for non emergency injuries and personal health issues. Sprains, cuts, rashes, broken fingers etc for example, as well as blocked catheters, urinary retention and post surgical complications if needed. Emergency care is provided at another site, as is inpatient care. This site provides investigative and pre operative work up, as well as rehabilitation on an outpatient basis. An army of knowledgeable volunteers and clerical staff ensure you are seen in good time. The UCC practices triage, so less urgent cases may wait a long time for treatment. These cases could probably get seen at a walk in clinic or at their own doctors. Properly utilized this can be a one stop shop. Before I retired as an RN I referred patients here appropriately and they received good care. My wife had her follow up care here after her knee replacement, and I have cardiac investigations done here. The one down side? The cost of parking, although options are available to reduce the cost for frequent attenders.
