Maybe they assumed I wouldn't look into the claims details on my insurance provider's website--but I did. After reviewing months of charges, it was clear they'd been overcharging me the entire time. When I called them to ask what was going on, the doctor refunded everything I'd paid out-of-pocket, going all the way back to my first visit. It felt more like a move to avoid a bad review than a genuine apology. But here I am anyway. To be clear--acupuncture itself is fantastic. The treatment helped me.
