After 18 months of trying, our progress was derailed by Michael Sullivan. During a traumatic phone…read morecall whilst he was the on-call doctor for a severe reaction my wife had to a medication prescribed by Buffalo IVF, he repeatedly called her "honey" and told her to "just calm down." He dismissed concerns throughout the call, treated us as if she were simply being hysterical, ultimately hanging up leaving my wife in tears. Rather than taking responsibility for the situation or offering support, Sullivan left us with the impression that he considered her unfit to be a mother, by requiring psychiatric sign-off for routine testing. He made our reproductive choice a matter of medical bureaucracy passing us around between other providers, effectively abandoning us. We initially considered continuing with other providers at Buffalo IVF, as other staff seemed competent and compassionate, and we requested to not work with him. On reflection, however, it is deeply troubling that a women's health clinic would tolerate such sexist behaviour from its staff, let alone owner. Reproductive care demands empathy, respect, and professionalism. Sadly, our experience at Buffalo IVF showed the opposite. We strongly urge others to seek care where patients' dignity is valued. Don't waste your time here.

I called to schedule and get an idea of the process, the receptionist seemed to have no clue as to what the process might look like or an idea of cost. Nothing, she said I needed to come in for a consultation at $250 just for the doctor to tell me the possible steps and prices. I understand that she is not medical (I worked many years a medical secretary) but how do you have absolutely no clue of anything. I called the other facility that my OBGYN gave and wow, night and day. They couldn't give me an exact plan or cost but they were able to give me an idea of what the cost and process was going to look like. I see a lot of the low scores for this facility are mainly because of the office I say call CNY Fertility.

I have been with this office for ten years now and just delivered my second baby with them. Dr…read more Faulkner is beyond amazing, while unfortunately every other employee is atrocious. I've had multiple scheduling issues with their staff losing my appointment (even though I had a print out of my upcoming appointments), calling to cancel appointments, issues with the billing department, etc. First, I was over billed $800 even though every time I went in I questioned why I still owed money. They never had an answer and the billing department was never available. I continued to pay thinking it was my high deductible plan. After delivering, they called me to tell me they did indeed owe me over $800. After delivering, I had a postpartum appointment four weeks later. I was having small complications and pains postpartum before my appointment and had talked to the nurses several times. When I arrive for my appointment, they state I can't bring my newborn in due to covid. I understand not bringing my toddler or husband, but I have no one during the day to care for my newborn. Most importantly, it's safer for my newborns health to come with me and stay in the car seat than to be watched by someone who hasn't quarantined. What do single mothers or those who don't have family in the area do? I specifically wanted to see my doctor at this appointment, but clearly I couldn't. They said they couldn't work with me and would see me in September when I could find care.. as in me going back to work and sending the baby to daycare. What if my complications had been more serious? What if I was struggling with postpartum depression? Their offices job is to take care of women during and after birth. Sadly, they do not care about women after birth at all. Therefore, after ten years I'll have to look for another doctor.

They make you wait in the waiting room for over an hour and 1/2. I do not recommend this office at all or Cassandra Carr. I had to switch to a new gynecologist due to poor treatment from staff.
