I took only 3 single doses and was completely wired . I called the clinic who advised me that Dr. V. said I should quit taking them but did not offer a substitute so I returned to my GP who set me up with a cocktail of drugs that barely touch the pain. Back to Shields for a follow up. Dr. Loewen came in, gave me a cortisone shot based on MRI findings and sent me home 5 minutes later. No improvement. Two weeks later went back and Dr. Loewen gave another shot directly into the pain centre. No improvement. Back 3 weeks later. Dr. L. Was quite gruff and asked me what I thought he should do. Decided to give me 3 more shots randomly down my hip. Again no improvement. Next was a nerve block, by referral to Indsight Pain Management. Made it worse. Next was the rupture of a synovial cyst at the base of my spine. Temporary small relief. Now heading back for another shot into the cushion along the spine. These procedures done by Insight and horribly painful. Every time I speak to Dr. Loewen he becomes more off hand. "Well by the time anyone reaches 75 they're going to have problems with their spine". As someone else wrote, the front desk people are friendly and every appointment they ask you to fill out pages of information--which the doctors don't appear to read. I'm keeping my appointment, but this may be the last, regardless whether there is success or not.

There's about 4 stalls in front of their building for patient parking. Inside there's a lot of chairs in the waiting room and a TV to keep people entertained. The day I was there, the movie Happy Feet was playing which the children seemed to enjoy. It wasn't busy so the waiting room still had enough chairs for 8 people. The front desk staff are always very nice when answering the phone and in person. There's a place to take off your shoes and put feet covers over top if you like. They are not sticklers to make you take off your shoes unless they are wet and dirty. The patient rooms are spacious and clean making me feel very comfortable. Dr. Chan is always on time for our appointments and she answers my questions and provides me with guidance and medication information. There's always a large patient washroom in the back with a cute bear toilet paper holder. I wouldn't mind coming to this new location again as there's more seating, and it's nice and bright!

As he manipulates and moves the parts of my hand around, he explains why and what he is doing in each step. He is very knowledgeable and in the few months I've been going to him, my hand has gone from a 3 in pain and functioning (out of 10) to a 9. I accepted his recommendations of cupping and needling and was pleased with the result. He sends me away with exercises to continue the improvement on my hand, after first demonstrating them and supervising my practice movements. In my last visit he gave me a few more exercises, which he feels should help me bring my hand and forearm to full recovery. Nooman was personable and professional--I recommend him to anyone needing physiotherapy.

How the conversation changed is very disappointing in the staff . What kind company would allow someone to leave without paying for their service not even including the fact they claim to say that I was going to just pay for another service elsewhere.(getting my nails done) No legitimate company would ever do that. Ever... The outstanding balance is not a huge amount and I was more than willing to pay for it as long as they looked into why I was never aware of the balance and no one's ever contacted me.
