I was involved in a car accident and the doctor requested physical therapy. I chose this clinic because it was close to my home and work. However, the person who scheduled my treatment appointment after my first accident assessment did not show up for the first or second appointment. He did not call or apologize. Therefore, I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. There is no respect for people or appointments. read more

I'm disappointed to see such low reviews here of Corona, but as I understand they have changed ownership. I have been going to Corona Station for four months following a fractured ankle. My therapist, Ehryn, has been fantastic, taking time to understand what activities I am hoping to return to, providing many exercises, and is always available by email if I have any questions between appointments. The hours of the clinic are great and appointments are timely. I highly recommend. read more

Quite possibly the worst experience ever. I'm out of province, so I had to pay out of my pocket for an initial appointment ($100), which is a lot more than most. Still I did so, hoping that it would be worth it. It was not! The person assigned to me was 15 minutes late and then she rushed through our appointment telling me what could be wrong with my knee but not really offering suggestions as to what I could do to make it better. She offered two basic exercises, but each time I insisted on what I could do to better my knee, she kept saying book another appointment and I can take another look. It felt like I was at a used car shop than a physiotherapist's office. Worst experience ever! read more

The last time I was at Corona it was to have some work done on my knee. I had about four appointments from my initial problem to my knee feeling like it was back at 100%. The initial assessment was really thorough, and beyond ultra-sound treatments and and some massage, I was provided with exercises and stretches I could do as "homework" to ensure my recovery was progressing. They took into account my physical activity and helped to ensure that I was able to continue training with some lighter exercises instead of stopping me from going to the gym entirely. Beyond the actually treatments, I found the front office staff to be helpful and friendly, and the actual facility to be in good shape - even if some of their fitness equipment like their treadmill was a little old. I would recommend Corona Station Physio to my friends, for sure! read more

I started going to Corona Station P.T. upon hearing from an AHS employee that Corona Station has had especially good success at treating TMJ issues. I have gone to Kerri for about two months now and finally, I am actually getting some help for my chronic TMJ!! This was after getting no long-term relief from two years of chiro, massage, and acupuncture. I am usually in treatment for more than an hour, and Kerri applies heat, massages my neck and jaw muscles, and then meticulously inserts needles to the tight muscles and then does Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS). I would highly recommend Kerri for especially TMJ issues, but I'm sure that her precise IMS treatments would greatly relieve Sciatica, etc. as well. read more

Over the last 20 years I have required the services of a physiotherapist numerous times. Corona Station Physical Therapy was initially recommended to me by my personal physician (who I later found out was also a client). I was lucky enough to be treated by the owner Cheryl. I found her assessment to be very thorough. In fact, my Doctor told me that I did not have carpel tunnel I just needed some physic. Within a few minutes of looking at me Cheryl instantly knew I had carpel tunnel and encouraged me to go back to my Dr. to request further testing. Further testing confirmed that Cheryl was right. I like that not only do they treat your injury, they also give you exercises and suggestions on things your can do now and in the future to ensure you don't get the same injury again. I have recommend Corona to several friends/co-workers and they have all been very impressed with the care and professionalism of all the staff. I hope I don't get injured again but if I do....I know where I will be going. read more
