The reason I chose this particular clinic was to use the Biodex machine to increase my range of motion. It did not disappoint even tho I had to live outside of my home community for 2 months. I was told it is the only machine in Canada situated in a physio clinic. The Capilano staff from the front desk right through to other therapists and assistants are warm and welcoming. Arjun, my physio therapist was skilled and engaging while always focused on my recovery and increased range of motion. I highly recommend him. His assistant Ava was so kind and personable. As well as physio I utilized other gym equipment in addition to the Biodex. This included a treadmill developed by NASA that can reduce your weight for walking. Allie, the kinesiologist is helpful and engaging. When I have a second knee replacement in about 12 months, it will also be a complicated procedure. She said sorry you will have to submit manually this time. I asked when he will be ABC approved. I had a weird feeling that one of my legs is getting shorter and she pin it right! my hip rotated to compensate the pain coming from the knee and pulled the muscle creating this "shorter leg" feeling.
