Dr.Chow was very patient in getting to know the details of the incident in addition to my treatment history and was very meticulous in explaining each procedure and the possible side effects associated with Chiropractic treatments. I've had 3 sessions with Dr.Chow thus far and I'm very pleased to say I am very satisfied with the treatment so far.

This initial visit is designed for Dr. Derek Chow to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals." To my surprise they simply just told me Dr. Chow only meets the patients if your injury is sports related. Really?! I felt that this is misleading because the number one reason I gave this place a try was because I thought I was going to be assessed by the doctor himself. Secondly, the straw that broke the camel's back was their scheduling. I was there on a Friday and I booked a second visit for the following Friday. My injury is due to postpartum baby care pains and so I had to make alternative arrangements for a babysitter to babysit my newborn in order to attend my next session. They called me 2 days before saying they aren't able to see me anymore Friday because there was a scheduling error. This had caused me $45 to cancel with my babysitting service less than 3 days in advance. Friday comes, receptionist called me but I missed their call and she left me a voicemail at 5:30pm asking if I was still going to go in for my 5pm appointment?!? I don't get it, why call to ask me that when you cancelled? I would not recommend this business.

He was very engaged in learning my health history and how I've been suffering with chronic back pain for years. He completed his examination, which included a good amount of objective measures that we could compare to after some treatment. I was very impressed with his explanation about my problem and his approach to treating me for it. It made total sense, with a simple straightforward approach that would be reasonable and easy to manage. I received my first chiropractic adjustments on my first visit and could feel improvement immediately. On my second visit he introduced some stretches and strengthening exercises that I could do each do to support the treatment and progress as quickly as possible. I'm now two weeks into care with Dr. Matthew at Vellore Chiropractic & Wellness Centre and it has been the best decision about my back pain I've ever made. I made a second follow-up appointment and low-and-behold - he was trying to sell me on a year long "better living" program upwards of 3.5k. When I insisted and only said I was here to be on a pay-per-session basis, he kept trying to insist that I would need the WHOLE program to feel better. Went to HealthMax Physiotherapy in Thornhill and was so happy with the entire experience. The front desk was so helpful and welcoming. The Chiropractor I saw made me feel so comfortable and was extremely knowledgeable. After my first treatment, I already felt so much relief and was able to walk without shooting pains.
