She went in, and then about 10 minutes later, she came back to the car. She said when she walked in, there was no one up front. When they finally came, they coldly asked her what she wanted/why she was there. She told them she was there for an interview. The director came out and she went back with her. She asked what her name was and where she currently works. When she started to tell her, she was cut off and told she had no experience (which is untrue). She was not given a chance to say anything. The director then got on the phone and called someone. They talked for a minute and said "She is pretty, but she has no experience". She wrote the ladies name down on a piece of paper and told her to call that number. She then said bye and sent her away. I would never recommend working for someone like this. If I had a small child, I would never send them to a daycare/school with a director like that. She was extremely unprofessional. My daughter had all of the qualifications that the job description asked for. If she didn't, she could have at least had a chance to visit with the lady....especially after driving 6 hours!

Every morning that I come in I get zero acknowledgement from the lady at the front desk. I mean literally not a word. I can come in and out, see her talking to literally everyone else, but never speaks to me. This morning I stood at the door and said "bye, thank you!" Three times and was blatantly ignored. Another girl heard me (after slightly yelling the third time) and said "thank you, bye!" With a smile, but still nothing from the front desk lady. It is very frustrating that there isn't even common courtesy given by this person, especially when you see her talking to other people like they're best friends. Is your job not at the VERY LEAST be friendly and say hello or goodbye to the parents that come in and out? I mean you can't even LOOK in my direction when I talk to you. I can't comprehend this. It honestly makes me wonder throughout the day if my son is being treated fairly, being that I feel I am not. She is straight up rude & I would not recommend taking your child here if you would like to be treated like a regular human being when you go in/out. I have been nothing but friendly, courteous and kind... it's just sad that I can't get that same energy back. DO better and BE better.

I am sharing this post about the school because the church leadership stands behind the director…read moreand supports her decision, including the violation of my son's privacy and the lying of the director. They also support discrimination of children with special needs as it relates to educational opportunities. Therefore, I would never attend or support this church in any way. Every child deserves an opportunity to learn. But, my child, because he has a learning disability, doesn't deserve to go to Second Baptist Children's Learning Center. In fact, I didn't see a single special needs child at that school. Not only was he given only four days to acclimate before they said it wasn't working (he wasn't sitting during circle time), but the director also called his previous preschool and demanded to know why he was no longer there and when they wouldn't tell her she became angry. She then told me I was a liar despite the fact that I was upfront and honest about his difficulties. She returned my deposit and tuition and called that compassion, yet compassion would have been understanding that just because a child is different he is allowed to learn as well. Even not violating my son's privacy would have been a good start. The church leadership is standing behind her and her behavior, I received a letter stating that they respect the director's years of experience. I wouldn't attend that church or send my child to that school in a million years. Shame on the school director and church.

I came from a really terrible preschool (Storybooks) and 2BC just made everything so much better. I knew my daughter was going to be getting the best early childhood education. Being a teacher assistant there, helped mold me into the teacher that I am now for CCISD blessings come in many ways and 2BC was the biggest blessing I could have ever asked for! I still have my daughter enrolled there and will not be enrolling her into CCISD prek program because 2BC is worth every penny!
