She loved him and he loved her back. The lesson plans and associated activities were creative and enriching. We loved how each day was filled with a great mix of sensory play, crafts, learning and good old fashioned outdoor fun. The food was healthy and he was kept safe. He got less colds because they were out in the fresh air so much. If you are considering becoming part of the Wild Child family, go for it! If I had 10 more kids, I'd have all of them cared for by Missa!

She propped my baby's bottle at 6-10 weeks old so she could fold kitchen towels for the family we shared her with. Mind you she only had 2 babies in total to care for! CA regulation mandates holding an infant while feeding for safety, bonding and nurturing. I walked in and my baby was choking as my breast milk ran down her face. She was kicking her legs and flailing her arms, struggling to self feed. Her neck always smelled of spit up and when I asked Melissa about this, she indicated there was no spit up and she had no idea why she smelled that way. It was due to her not being held for her 4 feedings a day while my milk ran down her face as she struggled with the flow of the bottle nipple at 6-10 weeks old :(. Melissa, find a different profession. You never belonged in childcare! Parents, do your research, look up her Eco baby childcare "business" in southern California. I immediately removed my child from her care and she wouldn't allow me to collect my belongings without bringing her a check. I paid her and she packed up the little boy she also nannied for and cashed it within 10 minutes. The other mother Innesa Burrola who is now some prominent retired at 30 CEO was supportive of this behavior. It has been 14 years and this still haunts me .

If anything did happen, as in a scratch or a bump (normal kid stuff) they were quick to let me know and kept me in the loop. My Son previously went to a diff daycare for 3 months and cried everyday when I dropped him off, was still crying when I picked him up. He would tense up when we would drive up to the other daycare. All the they would say was, "He did great today, Mom" while his face was red from crying. When I switched over to Jan and Rays, he stopped crying within the FIRST WEEK!!! I prefer a daycare out of a house rather than a facility due to number of kids per adult. The other place was pure chaos. ALL the kids were either screaming, crying, running or climbing on something. Jan and Ray have a more structured setting. Calming. They are very meticulous when it comes to rules and regulations, keeping everything up to code, cleanliness and have a preschool agenda. My son knows all of his colors, most numbers, all the alphabet and can write his name pretty well. He can also read the words that he recognizes (similar to sight words). He has an interest for BOOKS now! This is my last kid and I am really bummed that this is his last month, we will definitely miss them and my son will also miss all of his BEST-FRIENDS he made there.

She even allowed me to do a drop in the same day, which I needed for a doctor appointment. She said that her sister may be there at the time I got there. The house was nice with what looked to be lots of toys and activities for kids. But it was her brother who was there watching at least four small children already. He looked to be in his early 20s and said that his sister just went to the store, so I offered to wait so I could meet her. He made it seem like she wouldn't be back for awhile. I'm mortified to admit that I still left my son there. I'm the one who offered my contact info to him, there was no explanation of food, I told him it would be my son's nap time soon. There was no explanation of how that would work. It honestly just seemed like she just found any adult to watch the children while she went out. Needless to say, I was back within 20 minutes. Her brother had placed my son in his stroller and was allowing him to cry without any comfort. I knocked on the door and no one would answer, so I just came in and there was my one year old sobbing in his stroller, biting his hands. Her brother looked stressed out and was on the phone with his sister. He said "nothing I did would calm him" but none of his toys, blanket, or milk I brought was out of the diaper bag. He had not done anything but just put him in his stroller to sob. I immediately grabbed my son, and gave the guy money so I could just leave. He did help me take the stroller to my car. The other children were just hanging out on the couch watching television. It was basically my biggest nightmare come true.

Britney is amazing amazing care giver to my daughter which she has watched since was 6 weeks old…read moreshes almost 8 months old. Before I have meet Britney I read all her reviews from when she watch kids in California. I never had any concerns about leaving my daughter with her or any of her family member which I have meet almost everyone. When i saw a review that had me question the care her brother gave i asked to see the video she had which she said she offered this individual to watch. I know for a fact that Britney ( and her sister who is there to help daily with the kids) and anyone she ask to help her when she has to step out of the home for a person matter (her dotors appointments or her childrens) are cpr and frist aid cert. When i watched the video I saw her brother did offer this individual child a bottle more than once, held, pushed him in the stroll to help clam him down to no help this baby was in pain. Turned out he had a broken clavicle which was not told to Britney but her brother at the time of drop off ( which could be heard on the video). Britney's own children (which this individual has mentioned in multiple post) where on spring break and saw this child in pain and watch thier uncle help this child who could not be helped he ended up calling the childs mom in less than 30 mins because there was no way to console him. Her brother was doing what any adult would do and call the parents if she had not answered Britney would have had him call 911 because the broken clavicle was told to him. I have asked how this was being handled at which she let me read all text between Britany and this "mom" which all that I have said was mentioned between Britney, this mom, and Britney brother. I trust her and her family with my only child. And for as long as Britney is offering child care my daughter will be going to her.
