I have worked with Katy Young and Marie Barnes to advise me on a small claims dispute where a client refused to pay me for architectual design services rendered. I certainly didn't want to go to court but also felt that it was my duty to stand up for the work I'd done and also face the client directly to express that his unwillingness to uphold his end of our agreement wasn't. Three weeks ago I received a phone call from my brother who lives and works in Asia. I hired Katy Young to help me with a dispute I had with my business partner. My partner stole our company van and locked me out of our email and other accounts. I had tried on my own to resolve the dispute but my partner wasn't having it. Katy kept after him with a letter writing campaign, phone calls, and then finally filed a lawsuit against him. After the lawsuit was filed, my partner eventually came to his senses and we settled our dispute.
