He never introduced himself, didn't take a look at my X-rays until after the exam when I tried to bring up my concerns (the assistant even asked if he had seen them yet when he came in so early and he just gave a very abrupt "no," which she nervously laughed off), and barely gave me room for questions afterwards because he kept trying to walk off! The team was very personal able and answered all of my questions. I got my teeth cleaned and they took the time to highlight all the positive things and explain why they did what they did. I want to say it was Camille and Dr Jared. I was grateful that my self maintenance did a great job and have healthy teeth and they proudly honored that instead of trying to scare me into coming more regular. When it came time to leave , the checkout lady, Jodi , made sure I understood how insurance was covering what and what my obligation was and why. I asked the same question a few times because it didn't click and she gracefully made sure I was confident in what I understood. I also have interest in removing my amalgam filling and replacing it with a porcelain crown and Jodi made sure I understood all the ins and out of payment for that. Only concern I had was after my first x rays taken that I had to bite down on, I didn't see it cleaned before or after and that made me feel weird about the cleanliness of the whole office. 12/11/2024 To the…read morepeople of Weber Utah, I am letting you know this Dental office is nothing more than a profit-making organism that feeds off the inflated costs of services that you pay. I am a Disabled Veteran who I served my country without any regards to my personal being. I was deployed to Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Operation Enduring Freedom. I never asked for much as I just did my job, and my job was not for the timid. I was hurt in every one of these conflicts and still have nightmares from what I experienced. I am married to the most wonderful women for the last 42 years. She has helped me dramatically as she pulled me out of some very dark places. She has helped me through many surgeries, and physical therapy. To this day I speak to virtually no one, and never have except for my Veteran counseling, and I do not tell everything. My wife knows how my body was damaged, but not so much about my mental trauma. I am not alone as there is hundreds if not thousands just like me, who are damaged physically, and mentally. I have been going to this Dental office for the last few years, as the VA pays for my dental. I have seen the influx of people, as it is extremely busy. On November 12th, they sent out a notice to all the Veterans that they treat, that as of 1 January 2025 they will no longer be treating personal who is funded by the VA. I was supposed to have a cleaning two days ago, but called up and canceled, as I was not going to let the VA give them any more money. The lady that they put in charge of the VA authorizations is pretty sad! She could care less about me or any other Veterans. In all reality her soul is sad. This dentist office is only for profit, as every procedure has as a set payment limit from the VA. Whereas you go in and get a service done, your insurance is billed, you have your co-pay and then you handle the left-over cost of a procedure that they inflate to put into their pocket. Now with the amount of people in Utah they are overloaded, and the revenue are skyrocketing. So, what do they do? They cut out the people where they lose money and cannot dictate the prices of services. I can only hope Veterans read this and take their needs somewhere else, as they turned out to be very disgusting people. Merry Freaking Christmas and screw the Veterans in the New Year.

Office staff: Nice enough, but none of them seem like they ever know what's going on…read more Dentist: All of the dentists mentioned in the high reviews are not here anymore. To keep it short, the current dentists have no idea what's going on. I've walked into procedures where he almost made huge mistakes because he'd not only forgotten the work he'd done, but didn't bother to read my chart and prepare for the visit. I don't really blame him for this, the health care industry has stretched doctors and other professionals so thin, that they see too many patients to keep up. Appointments: It's nice that you can get appointments usually within the month you are calling, I know other locations that aren't able to help with that. Expect if you come in for an appointment though you are going to get pushed back for "dental emergencies" or "procedures that run long." Both of these are kind of a joke and I'll explain why in a minute. Just be prepared for longer wait times (I've gone almost 45 minutes in the past). Procedures: This is hit and miss. If you're coming in for a cleaning those go off without a lot of problems, but anything bigger than that and you run the risk of several problems. For bigger procedures, there isn't a lot of prep or reminders about them. I walked in for a procedure and had to reschedule because I'd not been in line with prerequisites to have it done. I hadn't talked to anyone in over two months and had forgotten some of the instructions, and no one called, emailed or verified before the day of. (Even bad doctors offices will do this). Like I'd mentioned earlier, the dentist doesn't seem to be up on charts and sometimes forgets what he's even doing. This does not instill confidence. Even when procedures are done, don't expect any kind of follow up. They will give your verbal instructions which are hard to remember because you just had work done or sometimes hand you a sheet of paper. They won't call to follow up, and if you come in because of residual pain or problems with the procedure, they are unsympathetic. For an office that always runs late due to "dental emergencies," they've never made an exception for anyone I know even with severe pain. Instead they will ask you to make an appointment several days out. Billing: I have never had problems with my billing because I pay out of pocket for everything. Another friend of mine says that she's been going around for work that was done several months ago. The office continues to bill to the wrong insurance and now they are trying to charge my friend for the work because of some time lapse issues. My advice, if you are current on insurance and willing to follow up to make sure they are billing the right places, and the work is getting paid for, you're probably fine. If you aren't willing to check in on this, be prepared to potentially get hit with a bill because they waited too long to handle claims. Location: It's nice that it's always clean. There are some minor spots on the carpet, but it seems clean enough. There is a kids waiting area if you have littles. They are also right off 2700 which is a straight shot off of the freeway, so if you're coming from farther away and can take the freeway, you don't have to fight inner city traffic. Overall: If you are on top of things billing wise, procedure wise and are willing to keep on top of this office, this isn't that bad. I personally came from a smaller town with a dental office that cared about their patients and this just seems all wrong to me. It's not a great customer or health care experience, but like I said, I'm biased. A lot of my other friends are getting away from this office and I will likely do the same. If I'm going to spend my hard earned hours paying for insurance, I'm not going to waste it on a place like this. Good luck guys.
