We have to keep him out of day care for two weeks to get healthy. On the first day back to their daycare he gets Chicken Pox. So that's three days there and 3 illnesses. We have already paid 500 dollars for their services and they won't refund any of our money. But worse they take no responsibility for his illness. They didn't even want to report it when I called. Not to mention they have the children take 4 hour naps, the constantly taking all the wipes and diapers from my sons bag to use on other children, and the lack of information when it comes to what is being done with your child. After our talk with Kidsplay I received a land slid of incorrect info on my child's day their. So bad that he was picked up at 2 by his grandmother, but they still put in the information that he had a diaper change at 3pm. I am so disappointed in this place and will not being sending my child back! I urge any parent to do the same!!! I contacted them at 9am about the situation, and they didn't inform anyone until 1:30pm

She treats minorities like trash. I can only hope that Dr.D or Ms.Gerberding will talk to her and teach her some love. We don't want bad for her but the way she treats parents and student of color - is very painful. On positive note, Ms.Mary Marston did teach me a lesson on how NOT to treat other people. The facilities are excellent and Susie Shelton-Dodge is the Headmistress and is wonderful and very approachable. They do have before and after school care which is included in tuition. They participate in numerous field trips. The menu in the cafeteria also has very healthy items. The summer camp is also wonderful with numerous fun activities but my favorite part of summer camp is the swimming lessons. They do have a very nice swimming pool on campus (fenced) and teach swimming every day during the summer. Lessons are dependent on ability and age. There is even parent observation day at the end of the summer. No this place isn't cheap but well worth the money. These kids tended to be from affluent families and made fun of his clothes or shoes. There became more concerning issues when one child was being threatening towards the children in the class. When we expressed concern the teacher became defensive of the other child and it became very uncomfortable after we had built what I thought was a good report. I found out later that the teacher was close with the other family and even went on a ski trip with them. The director also showed little concern for these more serious issues. I also had to address the fact that my daughters class never washed with soap and water but used hand sanitizer instead. Both of my kids would express that the wrong kids were often disciplined and others got away with whatever they wanted. Every day I asked them how school was and they had nothing good to report sadly. It was hugely disappointing for the amount of money spent there.

Every transition to a new classroom is hard, because it means she leaves a great teacher. We always worry that there is no way that the next classroom can be as good as her last, but Ms. Enyale has blown us away. It is the expectation that she is in a safe and friendly environment, but Ms. Enyale has been an extension of our parenting that has developed responsibility, vocabulary, and now even potty training. We are amazed at how much she has learned in a relatively short period of time and it would not be possible without Ms. Enyale and all of the great teachers there.

The school is gorgeous inside and out. It is built on 11 acres of land with a stream running through it and hills for sledding in the winter. Inside is very clean, up to date, and child safe/friendly. I spoke to Ilya, the school head, and he assured that the furniture, from what I remember was mostly wood, is non toxic and finished with non toxic coating. I do not remember seeing a single piece of plastic, which brought me peace of mind that my son would not be exposed to the unregulated chemicals in toys. In fact, the school has no toys. It is Emilia Reggio based, which capitalizes on the learning and creativity of the students. If they want to play with a truck, they have to make one... what fun! They eat locally sourced organic food, and use stainless steel bowls to eat out of, which is non toxic and durable. They pride themselves on getting outdoors every day, and they even "camp out" on Fridays. They learn about community and working with others, and the school really seems to focus on growing the whole child, not just grooming them academically. Ilya seem really passionate and knowledgeable about education. His wife, a teacher at the school, did Teach for America and although I did not meet her, sounds like this is a true passion of hers as well. It is their goal to stay on top of the best ways to help raise and educate the children of today, and being the only true Reggio Emilia school in St Louis, they are leading the way to a more progressive and influential way of teaching our children!

When we met with the owner, the concerns about age-appropriateness and lack of same-day communication were not clearly addressed. Communication regarding behavior was inconsistent. In this instance, it was presented at pickup on paper rather than communicated when it occurred. Families also paid a separate summer activity fee in addition to tuition, yet multiple scheduled field trips were canceled due to transportation or other issues. There were also concerns about privacy practices. Prior-year tax documents were taped to the front door and left unattended. After withdrawing our children, I had to follow up to obtain required paperwork. How this was handled ultimately prompted me to write this review. Although our children left in July 2025, the tax document issue reinforced broader concerns about transparency and professionalism. After posting reviews on other platforms, I was contacted privately by an employee. I was later unable to access the business's Facebook page. This review reflects my direct experience.
