Honestly, Courtney, who is over the YMCA summer program is very kind However, our family and I including my ex whom is my daughters father have had MULTIPLE issues with payments and being charged incorrectly. The staff at the Y club does not require IDs however, if you go in the staff at the front desk, always ask for a photo ID and will not take my safe at home ID, which is what I am required to carry. Every single time it's an issue and they have to call Courtney over. When you pick up for aftercare the gentleman that is always there sits at a makeshift desk and refuses to get up to come to your car to have you sign out your kids, not a big big deal but when you have an infant in your car all the time it's very inconvenient and I do not like leaving him in the car alone. I say this every single time and every single time he refuses to come to my car so I can sign the girls out. There have been a couple other instances and I'm hoping the school year just goes a lot smoother. read more

The best place for me to practice on my swimming team go sea dragons and it is always clean in the locker room

The refs they have a very horrible. They keep calling fouls and travels on the opposite team but weren't calling any fouls on the white team. Every time the black people got hit by the white people the refs made it seem like the black kids got the fouls. The warriors( all black team) were being cheated the whole game by the horrible refs and the other team( all white team) me and my family personally think that this was an unfair game and they are very racist. Then they tried to change up the fact that the warriors were getting all fouls when they weren't. Also when the white team was fouling the black team the foul calls weren't getting called. Overall I do not recommend you coming here because they are highly rude. read more

Terrible staff at the YMCA O'Fallon Mo. Office. There are a few friendly staff members, but the leadership/management is absolutely terrible. The membership Director Lauren Wilson actually requested that I provide a medical note as to why I hadn't been in the gym. This is the equivalent of the Costco guy asking you for a Dr.'s note after you hadn't been in the store for awhile. This was after I emailed her and told her I had bicep and shoulder surgery! I cannot believe the nerve of some people. I'm not sure where these folks come from, but this is not how businesses, especially Christian businesses, should act. Avoid this place like a plague! Another example of their rudeness. Came in at 8:30 pm and was told "Facility closes in 15 minutes". No Hello, how are you?, nothing. So the sign on the door that says 9:00 pm is incorrect. I thought I had 30 minutes. When someone tells you the time remaining, what they are really telling you is "Hurry up, I have stuff to do and want to be out of here by the closing time." The staff wants to shut everything down by 8:45 pm. The staff for the most part is very fake. They smile in your face and then do nothing basically to help you. Everything they do for you they act like it is a huge favor. Very unprofessional and rude staff for the most part. Everyone is fake friendly. Don't expect coffee or for people to make you coffee. The coffee cut off is 2:00 pm and don't you dare expect any coffee after that. They act like it is liquid gold. I cancelled our memberships. We are new members, but the attitude around the place is horrible. Again most staff are terribly rude and unprofessional. Gym equipment is old and in need of maintenance. The pool is mostly all used and allocated by swim teams that are constantly there. read more

Our family just moved into the area this year and we've been regularly attending the O'Fallon Y for 3 months now. I give them 5 stars for the following reasons: 1) Wide selection of activities (Pool, gym, track, sports court, cycling rooms, fitness rooms...) 2) Large offering of classes 3) Friendliness of staff and members (sense of community) 4) Cleanliness 5) Free babysitting for up to 3hrs a day We have been very pleased with what the Y has to offer and will probably stay here for a while. We pay around $75/mo for a family membership. read more

Friendly staff, central location. Wife and I usually work out here in the mornings. I use the pool and she uses the cardio equipment. First of all, the staff is excellent from top to bottom. Good people and helpful. The other members are also pretty friendly. Some gyms are filled with rude people. Not this one. I use the pool in the morning, which can be crowded depending on the day. You can go and get a nice workout with little interruption. If you have to share lanes, people will offer to let you do that and if someone needs to share with you they will ask. Overall, a very great gym. Our membership is about $78 a month. Well worth it, we've been very pleased. read more

I am a volunteer at this facility and am always amazed at how friendly the staff are every time I walk in. Also, there are great facilities and programs for families and people of all ages. I encourage anyone to join! read more

I have had trouble with the YMCA's summer camp and their Before and After Care before but I tried one more time because a lot of my son's friends go there and he is older. Mistake. As part of the Before and After Care program the YMCA says they offer Care for when school is out during the school year. I filled out the form for the 2017-2018 school year. Of all the days the school is out this school year the YMCA can watch him 2 days. Since he goes to the YMCA's he can't go to a daycare for those days so they have left me without Care after telling me they covered those days. I suggest not using the YMCA for anything. The sports programs are unorganized, their staff doesn't watch the kids well, and the staff lies. read more

Terrible wait staff, the new business rep was NOT helpful and wouldn't even accept a national account discount. Stated we would need to come back when they offered it....ridiculous...very disappointed and when there customer service called I told them..they offered the 10% discount but I had already signed with another rec center and glad I did...terrible service!! read more

I felt that the regular staff at this YMCA are very friendly and helpful but good luck if you are dealing with the managerial staff. They can be very uncooperative and inflexible. I had to cancel my membership due to unforeseen circumstances and the people at the front desk were really understanding and actually allowed me to cancel my membership without the one month notice period. They even gave me the written confirmation. Then two weeks later I see that they have deducted my account for the next month's fee without any communication at all. If I hadn't checked my account, how would I even know that they debited my account. I completely understand that it is the rule to give a one month's notice. So shouldn't there be a uniform rule throughout the organization? Since I would be away for less than three months, I asked the lady at the accounts desk if I could just suspend my account for the next months and then continue to use the YMCA, but she wouldn't allow it. Trying to get her on the phone is like trying to talk to the president. You have to try 4,5 times. I finally gave up and just joined the RSC right across the street. Peace of mind and half the price for a family membership. Why didn't I think of it first? read more
