No one hovering over you waiting like other gyms, this place is so clean. If you told me they bought all the equipment yesterday, I would believe you. I met the owner the first visit while he was fixing up the selfie rooms. He apologized for the mess and introduced himself. Very community spirited gym, but not the pushy type to get you involved if you don't want to. If you like quiet, keep in mind the classes on the turf Saturday mornings especially around holiday time. I'm not a morning person so it definitely woke me up but nothing to keep me from still going to this gym. I am on the petite side and there are some machines where I can't put any weight on or else there would be no movement and if I put the lowest weight it's too heavy to push/pull. So there are some machines that aren't beginner friendly. I'd say it's definitely a gym to go to where you've already started your fitness journey and want to enhance it or just wait to use those machines after you build some more strength. I don't think I've heard the same song twice and every song is great and pumps me up. Whoever is controlling the tunes is doing fantastic!

Unfortunately, ongoing billing issues changed that. My husband and I each signed up separately but linked our memberships to the same checking account. Despite always having sufficient funds available, we were repeatedly charged late fees, increasing our monthly membership costs by more than 66%. Before contacting Planet Fitness, I contacted our bank, and they were unable to locate any ACH payment attempts associated with Planet Fitness or ABC Fitness. We reported the problem multiple times, were told it would be investigated, and were even promised refunds. Instead, the late fees continued, another fee was added, and when we returned to the club there was no record of our earlier complaint. After completing a customer survey, I was contacted by the Senior Vice President of Operations, who explained that this type of issue "typically" means the bank account was entered incorrectly. Since both memberships were entered separately by us but used the same checking account, that explanation didn't seem to fit our situation. I replied with follow-up questions, but nearly 10 days later, I've still received no response. While trying to understand what happened, I also found numerous online discussions from members describing similar billing experiences, which only made me more hesitant to accept the explanation or feel comfortable rejoining. It's disappointing because we truly liked this gym. We didn't cancel because of the facility or the staff. We canceled because the billing issue was never resolved, the communication stopped, and we no longer had confidence that the same thing wouldn't happen again.

Perhaps a sauna? Renaud has an indoor pool with open (general) swim area, lap lanes, water features, and a hot tub. The gym includes workout machines and free weights. Cycling, rowing, walking and stair machines are nearby. Personal trainers can coach you for additional cost. The gym has multiple basketball courts for half-court play or single shooting practice, plus volleyball courts. A 1/10-mile overhead walking track circles the workout area and overlooks the basketball activity. At additional cost to the reasonable single, couple or family memberships are dozens of classes on health, fitness, personal growth, and entertainment for adults and children. Locker rooms include showers and no-charge locks are available. Convenient parking.

My chiropractor suggested I get a personal trainer to make sure I do the exercises correctly. He has made sure of that and has kept me mobile and not needing a walker. He has gotten my muscle up to 42% of my body weight and even helped me through knee replacement surgery. I wouldn't be in this great of shape if it hadn't been for my trainer and Freedom fitness. All of this was achieved by only going twice a week for an hour.
