The heart of the issues was various construction problems with new construction including leaks with roofs, fire stopping issues, as well as a lot of other structural integrity issues. Doing our own due diligence, reading some of the press that he has had in the past and some of the wins that he had for other clients, we worked with Leni Cummins throughout the entire process and this process went on for approximately a year and a half. The constant negotiation back and forth with our sponsor and his counsel. At the end of the day, Leni was able to get from the Attorney General's office, after many unsuccessful tries of getting sponsors to come to an actual settlement; and we were able to settle for an amount that was going to cover our roof repairs as well as fire stopping issues. We are very satisfied with the condo board in terms of what Adam Bailey's office was able to do for us. The matter was handled very seamlessly. There was little work that we had to do at our end. Leni was very good in communicating the entire process with us. At the end of the day, it was obvious she was able to get us something that we felt was satisfactory. first met Adam Leitman Bailey about ten years ago. I have been a client of his ever since. When I first got into the business and I had a very large deal, very large commission, with a very large brokerage company that was trying to keep most of the commission. I hired Adam Leitman Bailey who stopped everything. It was a very large landlord. Everything had stopped until we had a deal where we were getting the commission that we deserved. I was willing totake even less commission but Adam said we should get more and I listened to him and we did get, in fact, more than what we would have otherwise settled for. We were having some difficulties negotiating with our landlord, the building owner, and one of the other tenants in the building actually came across Adam's name through some research. We were looking for an attorney to represent us. We went after the landlord to make some major repairs to the building and through Adam's pushing at our end; we were able to get a significant number of repairs to some of the units that were in very bad shape. He was able to negotiate a 20% discount on the final purchase price. That was one of the biggest things that he was able to accomplish for us.
