Anyhow, I had a good three months of relief before the pain returned. Currently waiting on someone at ARO to return my calls for followup treatment if they offer such a thing. The understanding I have is that the ablation is to provide temporary relief while the stem cells provide the more longer term solution to joint pain. Jury's out but I sure wish I could get a call back from someone over there to complete this process as discribed.

One was with a very well known university which we will not name and came with experience. I had the appropriate mri and other preparations and after weeks of waiting finally got in for a review. I was shocked when I went over the surgery. The first question is asked is what kind of implant are you going to use. The answer was a Titanium one. Gee, I know more about the oil being put in my car. It quickly became apparent to me that this University was not the place. I happened to visit Tampa and was talking to friends there and someone recommended 'stem therapy'. I am not into quick fixes or magic solution, but once I looked into found it to be a $5K procedure. This in comparison to 10x and many weeks of recovery. I decided to take a chance and talked to 3 different centers. I like Aro Motion since Dr Dean took his time and explained why and why nots the process could work for me. Tampa is far from where I live and I only had a few days there, so did not want something with long times. I rolled the dice and did the procedure. It was quick and painless. I left a few days later and never saw the location again. I wanted to wait 9ish months to write a review to understand the results. After 9 months, the procedure has worked for me. I did see Jennifer's 1 star review and I guess she had an opposite experience. I will try and update my review in another 10-12 months, but so far so good. Thank you Dr Dean.

Coming from out of state I was expedited through their facility on two different occasions at a high rate of speed. I saw only two individuals. The doctor and his assistant, who did everything except administer the gas and the injections, including collecting the money. I received no relief whatsoever from my treatments at this facility. After paying thousands of dollars, I was certainly expecting a Better result. I would have preferred Less hype and salesmanship and better relief from pain.

I was in terrible pain from a torn rotator cuff with multiple tears of the cuff and also a torn labrum (cartilage), and Stem cells were my last resort before surgery. When I first went to OPPT, I could not play my instrument for 5 minutes without pain in my left arm and elbow. My therapist told me this would not be a quick fix, and she was right. However, several months later, I can now play for two hours a day or more without pain or discomfort, so I am more than satisfied with this outcome. I worked mostly with Emily and occasionally with Paul, but really, from what I could see, all the therapists there were experienced and competent. But what impressed me the most (besides the skill of the staff) was what I guess what you would call the ambience of the place. Everyone was so positive and upbeat, people were talking to each other, the atmosphere was so pleasant. i actually looked forward to going there every week.
