Dealing with Neuspine has been excruciatingly painful. I've been trying to obtain pain medication since last week. I called them today at 4:45 p.m. to get an update, but unfortunately, they are closed. I will have no choice but to sue them for malpractice for allowing me to endure another uncomfortable day with pain. read more

After living my entire life with a severe S-curvature scoliosis, I genuinely believed I was out of options--until I found Dr. Mohamed Saleh and his truly wonderful team at NeuSpine Institute. Dr. Saleh thoroughly reviewed my complex case, clearly explaining that surgery was possible and setting fair, honest expectations for my life post-operation. One year ago, Dr. Saleh performed an extensive spinal fusion, spanning from my T4 vertebra all the way down to my SI joints. The recovery process was, naturally, challenging, but the constant support made all the difference. I've been to two locations and my experience has been sub standard. 1) During my first appointment (Lakeland location) I waited for hours. I was put in a room with an aggravating motion sensor light that kept turning off on its own. I met with the Dr. for 15 mins and it could have EASILY been a tele-health appointment. No value added. 2-3 hours of my life wasted. 2) Before my second appointment- they canceled and called me while I was driving to inform me. I asked them to send me the updated appt info. They didn't. I called them as soon as they opened on the day of the rescheduled appt and they didn't answer for 15 minutes. When I finally got through, they told me I needed to be there at 8:15 (the time it was when they were finally gracious enough to answer their phone). I drove like a wild lady to the office and waited 2+ more hours (the Dr. wasn't even at the office yet). 2-3 hours of my life wasted. 3) New location same wild ride! Wesley chapel for an EMG. I get there and there is one extremely inexperienced receptionist and an ENTIRE office full of people watching her struggle (and doing nothing). I was in line behind two people and it took her 30 mins to help us. I finally get to the desk and she accuses me of missing my appointment (while standing in line). She offered the option to wait to see if the 1245 no showed. If not- I'd have to reschedule. They showed so now they wasted three hours of my life at one appointment (where I wasn't even seen) that I'll never get back. They've been reported to Tricare and my MTF. I'll be going elsewhere. read more

Very unprofessional. Constant turnover of staff canceling appointments without notifying patient then saying they called you when they never did canceling appointments. If they're mad at an interaction you had with them without notifying you very unprofessional not the way a healthcare organization should be run. Management at the Wesley Chapel office is terrible. Dr. Deuk is very caring and professional. He really takes the time to explain where my pain is coming from. I feel very comfortable with him. He the only one I felt comfortable with. I have MULTIPLE concurrent diagnoses, and see many doctors. I've seen some that are very good and some that are very bad. Dr. Patel is easily one of THE BEST. His combination of skill, upbeat attitude, and bedside manner make visits to his office one of the few I do not dread. He has provided excellent care and been a careful listener, making the time to listen to my concerns and giving you the sense that you are his only focus while he is in the room. Ive had a really great experience here! Dr Patel an his staff are amazing! They are all so caring, spent extra time with me when I needed it. Dr Patel made me feel very comfortable an makes jokes to help the procedure pass quickly. My procedures were nerve blocks and RFA in my neck, scary area but it was virtually painless an the relief has been incredible! I highly recommend them. read more

Prior to surgery in mid-December 2024, my feet would go numb if I stood for a short time or walked 1/4 mile or more. I went through neck & back surgery with no pain at all (no post drugs) and have no more numbness at all. I HIGHLY recommend the doctors and staff of Neuspine Institute! read more

I don't understand any bad reviews. Dr. Deuk is amazing. The staff is kind and friendly. Sometimes the wait is a little longer than I expected but when the doctor comes in he spends quality time. That's what matters. His skills are impeccable and he will get you as pain free as he can. I have had two very successful surgeries with Dr. Deuk and would not trust anyone else. I hope I don't need any more surgeries but if I do I know I will definitely be back. Insurance issues are not the fault of the office, I applaud them for having to deal with so many insurance problems. I know when I am having any medical procedure that I am going to have to make a lot of calls on my behalf to insurance companies. Unfortunately that is the reality today. Anyway, if you need a neurosurgeon without a doubt this is where you need to be. read more

Its obvious to me after reading past reviews this has always been a problem with neuspine. After reading past reviews going as far back as 3 yrs you havent done a THING to change. Your high turnover rate is because past employees refuse to give substandard care. Again I will tell you the med tech that come in prior to the GLORIFED nurses gives more information. Just because someone is nurse practioner doesnt mean they are good at what they do. They spend so much time going to school they obviously dont know what patient care and bedside manner is. As for DR D. After he slices a hole in your neck and probes around your spine putting screws in YOU NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN. Never saw anything like it. If he is relying on these glorified nurses he is making a big mistake. I was warned about going there from the beginning. I wish I had. Dont bother responding Fabio. The doctors are great, they sound like they care. They sent my husband for testing, found what was causing his pain and came up with a treatment plan, After YEARS of pain, he was looking forward to finally having some relief. He was scheduled to come in to get an injection and the office canceled the appointment blaming the insurance. We call the insurance they NEVER even submitted the prior auth. They were suppose to call when they submitted the paperwork and months later never heard back from them. When he calls to follow up, they look up his information and they can't give a reason to why he hasn't heard back. Unprofessional on every level and extremely disappointed in the office. read more

I've seen Dr. Patel a few times at the Wesley Chapel locaiton & he's always so nice to interact with. He always explained things in a detailed manner & listended to my concerns. After the first couple of appointments I was so grateful for finding this pain mgt office. Eventually Dr. Patel referred me to another doctor in the practice, Dr. Weinburg. Again, this doctor has been amazing and he's worked so hard at trying to help with my ongoing chronic pain. He is very attentive, caring and goes above and beyond to help his patients. I've had several procedures with him and each time they've gone so well. His nurse team and PA's are great too. I honestly wish I could end the review here as it would be a 5 star review. But this is where things turn for the worse... The back office team is horrible. They lack propper attention to detail when it comes to communicating effectively and propperly with the patients. Its not even a timely concern...its a LACK of concern. As the patient, I shouldn't have to be the one who's constantly reaching out to get updates on where things stand for prior authorizations for procedures. Anna never answers her phone and never returns messages. I always have to reach out to her email. And SOMETIMES, she'll return the email within a couple of days. Once or twice it was on the same day, but that was a rarity. If you don't have time to answer calls or to return calls, then why even have an extension? Or hire additional staff to help pass off some of her workload to someone else? Then there's the office manager Andrea. WOW don't even know how she's even an office manager. She is lacking manageral skills. She is demeaning, constantly interupts you while talking to the point where it makes you so frustrated that you start to raise your voice to try to let her know you were still talking. Then she accuses you of yelling at her? Unbelievable! In reality she is the one who starts to yell at you. Today she had the audacity to tell me that she and her team have bent over backwards to accomadate me with trying to get my prior authorization approved. First of all that's beyond false. Like I've stated before I've been the one who's had to constantly follow up to see where things stand because Anna never gets back to me or never gives me updates on where things stand. Second, its Anna's job to help the patients get their prior auths approved. The patients don't have capabilities of doing so or I would've already tried that. So to tell me that they've bent over backwards is hurtful and beyond condensending. I've never felt so hurt as I do now. And because of all of this between Anna and Andrea, I'm now going to have to look for another pain management doctor. And I really don't want to becuase Dr. Weinburg has been wonderful. Its sad the the back of office team are the cause for pushing me away from wanting to go to this office. Oh and I forgot to mention 2 times Andrea hung up on me. She bluntly said she was ending the call without giving me an opportunity to finish speaking. Yet another example of her lacking propper customer service skills. I'm more fearful than ever with all of the constant pain that I'm in. I so desperatley wanted to get the spinal cord stimulator so I can start to finally feel better. Especially since I was hospitalized last month because of stomach pain. Come to find out that because of my medications that I'm taking for my chronic pain, since the end of 2019, and the on going stress from it all...it caused me to have a stomach ulcer. Now I have to deal with that as well while I wait to find a new office to go to. All because of two people who lack empathy and the skills necessary to do their job without hurting the patients. Its a known issue at this place too. Read the other reviews and at all of their locations. Sad that these two individuals haven't been replaced by now. If they were to be replaced in the future, I would 100% come back. But it doesn't look like that will be happening anytime soon. I found myself in pain and thought I had slept wrong. It ended up being a large herniation and pretty bad he told me. I was in severe pain. I then ended up needing and having surgery with Dr. Deukmedjian and when I woke up, I was no longer in pain. I would highly recommend Neuspine for any neck or back pain. Go get evaluated. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my neck or back. my recovery was truly easier than I ever expected. read more

After a horrendous experience with another local pain mgr group, I met with Dr. Kamal Patel...very thorough, talks directly with me not to a computer, he has his patients best interest in mind..it is a big multi practice with several physicians, so the waiting room can be crowded, but I found it extremely efficient and they are caring health professionals. There is a MD on call after hours...I recently had my first procedure there, it went smooth as silk!!! Much much better than the mill I was a patient of before...I found relief and am not nervous about future procedures... read more

So liked Doctors however staff is lacking. To do injection must had a precert team. I was walked to the front and scheduled to return for injection. Great surgeons and surgery staff. Horrible billing and communication between offices (surgery and PT, and they sit at the same desk). Had surgery that went well, and that's where the good things ended. Advent Health's billing is horrendous. The hospital offered me an incentive to pay the coinsurance before the surgery, so I did it. (Lesson learned) The hospital was the last to submit their bill. Now my insurance company is making me pay the other 5 claims' coinsurance up to my out of pocket max, and then I have to hound the hospital for a refund. That's not something I should have to worry about when I'm out of work, recovering from surgery. TRIED to use their in house physical therapy. I'm currently 6 weeks post surgery and haven't had one session yet. My wife set up my first appointment for physical therapy 2 weeks after my surgery date. Their office scheduled me for pain management instead. No big deal. I went to the appointment as scheduled, not knowing it wasn't for physical therapy. Didn't know that til the doctor sat down and started talking about injections. I couldn't get in for physical therapy for another 3 weeks, and that was just for the initial consultation. No therapy and couldn't get an appointment for therapy for another 2 weeks. Second appointment: I had a flare up of pain over the weekend before the appointment that had subsided. The therapist refused to treat me and made me see the doctor again. I sat in the waiting room for almost 2 hours to see the PA. She was visibly and verbally irate that they hadn't started therapy yet. I got a printed schedule of therapy sessions from the office before I left that visit. The day before my next visit, I received a text and email confirming my 12PM appointment. Then I got a phone call to confirm my 9:30 appointment. I mentioned the text, email and printed schedule all show 12:00 and was told "we don't schedule appointments at 12:00." Fine. I show up and sign in for physical therapy at 9:14 am only to be told that the AM appointment is for pain management. They then offered to let me waste an hour in their uncomfortable waiting room so they could "try to fit me in for physical therapy." I'm not letting them waste another minute of my time. And won't be giving them any more of my insurance money if I don't absolutely have to. I just want to get back to work and they're doing everything they can to prevent that from happening. I've found another physical therapy center and will be cancelling all future appointments with this office. I will be inquiring what legal recourse I may have for the delayed treatment caused by their staff. I hear Morgan and Morgan are Pit Bulls. read more

I've been coming here for about two years now. At first the place was ok, they've always been really bad with getting back to you when you need something on the phone but at least their doctors used to be here and the waiting times were around 15-30 mins every time. Now they've moved and gotten bigger and the doctors are never here, you see a nurse every time. Also, the waiting times every single time I've been here have been over an hour. I'm not exaggerating. They overbook a bunch of people and fill their waiting room, which in these COVID times you'd think they would space people out, but I guess it's all about the money for them. Every time I've been here at least one person has complained about the waiting time to the receptionists and their response is basically- sit down and wait like everyone else. I would recommend you look for a different place to treat your pain. read more

I absolutely love NeuSpine and have referred many friends and family to them. I had C5 & C6 cervical fusion surgery recently and what a life changer. I am able to go back to doing the things I couldn't before. All of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. If your back hurts take 2 Advil unless you want a $750.00 bill for each visit. They want you to come back often, but never mention the cost of the office visit. I'm sure they do some good work for a serious injury, but for back pain you can tolerate, I learned my lesson. Should be illegal how they bill patients - no disclosure of fees and no detail on their billing statement. read more

They seem eager and happy to go out of their way to answer questions, check approvals and prompt with returning calls. Dr. Patel himself called me back 15 minutes after I called him and was pleasant and handled the concern immediately. Coveid failure! Multiple people booked with the same doctor at the same time so you pack your waiting room. Appointment at 930, I was seen at 11. Did nothing. Greed. Another Dr. was supposed to review my MRI while I was there the same day for Pain Management, that did not happen. The patient sitting next to me had an appointment at 9:30 as well with the same Dr., this is not supposed to happen as it is unethical. My review was much shorter initially but after the response below, I received a certified letter terminating my care here. Dr. Patel lied to me and said that he was mailing me a referral. I was also NEVER offered the option of a televisit as described in the response or I would have obviously taken it. When you are in pain and agony, the last thing you want to do is drive to a Dr. office and wait 1.5 hours in a waiting room while being ignored by staff. The amount of patients waiting frequently went over the Coveid guidelines of 10 and the staff quickly scrambled to put patients in back waiting rooms because it was so congested. If you give a bad review here, you are dismissed as a patient. I guess I will just have to share my horrible experience with these unprofessional people on every platform. read more
