I have had nothing but issues with the P2 .308 rifle from " ADAMS ARMS " that I had bought from a local store here in Colorado. I did some research on different manufacturers of this type (.308 caliber). My budget and research lead me to Adams arms. I bought this firearm and decked it out with new optics, forward grips, steal sights, sling, two stage trigger and a bipod. I means this was ready to rock and roll. Sad to say that I've had to send this piece of trash back to them five times. With numerous types engineering failures. From the forward coming all the way off after three rounds. Numerous failures to extract. Leaving the cartridge stuck inside the barrel and having to ram it out. Multiple extractors broken. Buffer tube issues, suppressor issues (gun won't cycle correctly on any setting). The last time I sent it in they mentioned in the email it required a new barrel, new gas block, bolt carrier group, new upper, and piston system and some other things. Are you kidding me. Why didn't you just replace the whole thing. I have never taking the AR 10 apart outside of cleaning it and basics maintenance. It really shows how poor and horrible this product is. Stay away from ADAMS ARMS FIREARMS Five times in 2 years for you to work on it. That's like a year in your repair shop. Lol And after what I would consider to be a complete overhaul and rebuild. I went and shot five rounds through it after getting it back and the forward came off yet again. You failed to tighten and install specific hardware to the forward. How safe do I feel. Smh You had it for three months this last time. I think it's time to get rid of this useless item and buy something reliable. Like a POF. THEY ARE NICE. let's do that. Be careful. I ordered 5000 dollars worth of stuff from adams arms. They didn't send me all of what they were suppose to send me. Everything had blemishes and even rust and it was suppose to be all new unblemished.. they made no attempt to make it right and the return process took damn near a month. Horrible customer service and zero initiative to take care of customers. Had to file a claim on the credit card company to get my money back even after they said they processed the return. Do yourself a favor and order a primary weapons system piston rifle . They're better builds anyways. And they won't leave you holding the bag when something goes wrong. read more

UPDATE Aug 04 2015: Adam's Arms, Customer Service Rep named Cody, finally contacted me after I left several messages warning them that I will be notifying the police if they continue to blow me off, avoiding my emails and phone calls, as they had for over a week, while having my AR-15 in their possession for so long, and giving me the run around. After an additional several weeks they decided to give me a used Demo Gun's barrel that their CEO had hanging on the wall for who knows how long. After supposedly installing the barrel and testing the barrel in my gun, claiming that the gun shoots their 1 MOA accuracy guarantee at 100yds, with their test target not meeting their own guarantee, but they ASSUMED the rifle would meet that standard because their shooter didn't properly stabilize the rifle to eliminate as much human error as possible. So they sent me back my rifle. I extensively tested the rifle out using expensive match Mk262, military XM193 BALL, and M855 BALL, shooting 5 shot groups, cleaning the barrel between each group, shooting each type of 5.56 NATO ammo, both suppressed and unsuppressed, using the correct gas settings, properly sandbag stabilized, eliminated as much human error as possible, on multiple days to make sure it is not me at all. I found that the rifle that they sent back to me shoots just as POORLY as the previous ones did, supposedly with different barrels each time. I was lucky to get a little greater than 2 MOA with Mk262 suppressed, and 3 MOA unsuppressed. The other milspec ammo was far worse, varying from 4 to 6 MOA. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!! I am EXTREMELY unhappy with the way these people at Adams Arms have treated me, as if they are just blowing me off, and don't value me as a customer. I notified them of my most recent test, and am waiting for them to get back to me. I also posted my results with a WARNING to AVOID Adams Arms, listing my number if shooters wanted to call me for details, at my local State run range in PA, which is the best and busiest State run range in ALL of PA, that sees thousands upon thousands of college kids, Veterans, and Staff that attend and work at Penn State University Main Campus that is just 10 mins away, ALL the State's 4H clubs shoot at this range, ALL of the State Police, Local Police, Game Commission, Officers train and qualify at this range. Also the National Guard, Reserve, PSU ROTC, PSU Rifle Club, come and train at this range!!! I am hoping these people at Adams Arms will start to take my case a bit more seriously, and treat me like a valued and respect customer. Because since they wasted so much of my time, I really don't mind wasting more time WARNING fellow shooters to AVOID doing business with Adams Arms. Still not able to get ahold of anyone on the phone to have them fix my order. They completely left out 50% of the parts that come with their kit, on top of that not including the hardware for the rail system that the other manufacturer guarantees will be included with all the product lines they sell to adams arms. When i was able to get ahold of someone in finance she basically told me nothing she can do and refused to go get someone that could help me at that current time and told me to send an email customer service rep which in fact he was out of town and no one filled the duties while he was gone. For a highly recommended company for its product they cant even answer the phone for their consumer's which is bad management, I could never recommend this company specially to any of my military brothers. I can't give you a review on the product yet simply because I have not received it. My problem is that I know quite a few people that have purchased uppers and really like them allot. In Fact everyone I have fired has been pretty great. The side note is that you better not buy a P1!!!! That rifle in my humble experience is trash. The BCG is cheap in that model and does not function well with the piston system. As well there lowers are junk (again from my experience) do your self a favor buy a scorpion complete lower on 22modsforall.com you can catch the upgraded model on sale for $179 next go find a hyper fire trigger on optics planet you can catch them on sale for $129. If you do that you will have a fantastic AR15. My biggest complaint with AA is the simple fact that they never answer their phone or emails. I have literally never seen a retailer with worse customer service. Just a simple thought from a guy with a PhD in business. If you sell more product then you can supply and have more customers then you can handle. That's actually a good situation to be in ... that means you're making money. Simple answer higher more people so that you can keep up with supply and customer connects. Something crazy might happen, you make more money holy crap that's just amazing. I have an AA AR-15 upper that I purchased directly from the factory. It is magnificent. The quality control is superb, giving new meaning to "precision manufacturing." It mated perfectly with the lower and worked perfectly from the first round. Well, mostly anyway. I stove piped the first round I tried to chamber. That was my fault, not AA's. I would have given 5 stars, but Sales and Customer Service falsely claimed there was no "two inch Picatinny rail segment that attaches to the gas block." Clearly AA DOES have the thing and the screws to install it. There are even photos of it on this Yelp page! For the record, Adams Arms is not a "retailer" though they do sell many products from their own storefront online. Most product is sold through their dealer network. The poor service by so many dealers as described in these Yelp reviews is simply unacceptable. They sold the AA's products and should handle any warranty issues. That's the whole reason for shopping at local gun retailers instead of buying directly from AA online. The founders of the company may be gifted designers and machinists, but it sure seems like management of a manufacturing company is not their forte. read more

I received one of their Glock slide assemblies and it had tons of issues. I sent it back then waited EIGHT MONTHS before getting it back. On September 30, 2014, I pre-ordered an Adams Arms .308 rifle that they said would begin to ship in November. They processed my payment of $500 on October 1, 2014. To date I have heard absolutely nothing from Adams Arms concerning the order. I have emailed them to inquire about the status but have received no replies to those emails. In the last email I indicated that I would assume I had been defrauded if I did not get a response by COB on January 15, 2015. Again I heard nothing from them. Very disappointing. They have no phone number listed on their website so I cannot try to call. This adds to my concern. I'd like to talk to them before I contact the Florida Attorney General's office. Seriously disappointed in Adams Arms... I bought their complete Tac Elite Carbine upper from Western Sport located in Texas. Upon initially receiving the upper on August 25th, I immediately noticed the gas block picatinny rail wasn't aligned with the hand guard rail or the rail on the upper receiver itself. The hand guard rail and rail on the receiver were aligned but when it got to the gas block it stuck out to the right a bit. I noticed they pinned the gas block to the barrel so I couldn't adjust it myself. Right away I called the owner at Western Sport. He assured me he'd have someone from Adams Arms contact me. When I didn't hear from anyone, I called Adams Arms myself and spoke to Phillip in Customer service. In all honesty, customer service was easy to get a hold of when I called, so no problems there. Phillip asked me to email him some pictures which I did. He said I could send it in but it would be a 4-6 week turn around. What? I just got the damn thing and paid $700. So I called the owner of Western Sport again and raised hell. He said for one, Adams Arms dropped the ball by not contacting me originally like they told him they would and that he would take care if it. So he called Adams Arms and then I got a call from Cody, a different customer service rep at Adams Arms. Cody assured me a 2 week turn around which I felt was fair and fast so I sent it. I sent it out to Adams Arms on Sept 1st, exactly a week after initially receiving it from Western Sport. A week later I email Cody to check on the progress. Cody said they'd have it ready by the end of the week to ship. Im like, Cool... no problem. On Thursday Sept 15th, two weeks after I sent it in, I get an e-mail from Phillip saying it's been fixed and it's ready to ship. In the email he says the rail was crooked and not the gas block but it has been re-aligned and is all good now. On Monday Sept 19th, I received the upper and it's still exactly the same as it was when I sent it in. I swear it looks like nothing was done to it. Im so pissed that Adams Arms wasted my time and just completely bull shitted me. I'll never buy anything Adams Arms again ever! Like I said before, customer service was great and they did keep their word on the 2 week turn around but that's it. In my opinion, I think Adams Arms need to get a new armorer or get the one they have some eye glasses to be able see better cause his eyes are crooked if he thinks the rail and gas block rail are aligned. read more

Ordered a backordered piston kit on 3/18/16 and was aware that it would take 30 days for the part to ship. Emailed AA and asked for an estimate on when they would ship because i was looking at the part and it has been backordered for about a week so maybe they could come sooner. I was told it would be in in 2 weeks and they had no other delays. It is now 4/19 and my buddy emailed them and got a response for the same part saying they we're in process now. I also sent an email asking for an update and was told 3-4 weeks. The other non backordered part in my order was promptly shipped as soon as my order was placed. Adams Arms, in my experience are OK guns. But even as a dealer, trying to get ANY response from their staff, even dealer sales, is a trying and very slow experience. Sometimes it takes 2-3 voice messages, and 3-4 emails, TOGETHER, to get a price from them so I can try to sell their product for them. I have lost 3 possible sales in 2 months because after a couple of weeks and no pricing information from the sales staff, the customer went with other brands upper for their builds. Draw your own conclusions. I gave a 3 because despite their lackluster customer service, my experience with their product is a reliable weapon that will shoot 1.5 - 2 MOA offhand all day long. I order a barrel from them on Jan 19, 2017. The website says it takes 10 days to process. That seems long but willing to except it. It is now Feb 3rd. They took my money, and never sent my barrel. I tried calling every number and every extension multiple times on multiple days. Nothing.... I even tried emailing several times. Nothing... just $300 lighter wallet. I spent 25 years in the Army so maybe I just expect people to be honorable in doing business. This is not an honorable way to do business. Not only will I never buy anything else from them (if I do ever get my barrel) but I will ensure I spread the word on how horrible this company operates. I received a Adams Arms 308 patrol rifle on 11/12/16 and it was malfunctioning brand new out of the box. Their website says you can return any item within 30 days of shipping if your not satisfied. Unfortunately I ordered through Classic Firearms so Classic Firearms would have to take it back. But Classic Firearms feels like they are not responsible for this problem. They won't answer your emails. I ordered my part in early February, with an expected wait time of 3-4 weeks, due to backorder, which, I thought was reasonable, especially when they state it up front on their website. It's now been almost 2 months, with no updates on my part. I have emailed them 4 times with 1 response--just 1. If you plan on following their instructions to email because it is "the fastest way to contact them," just stop. Call the number listed here: Sales is #1, Customer Service is #2. I have called 3 times now, and every time, the person I talk to is very helpful and professional, but I was told my part would likely ship last week--I'm still waiting on it. It doesn't take a genius to see that you're going to have MANY upset customers who will start looking for other retailers to get a similar product with half the hassle. If anyone from Adams Arms is actually reading this: #1: PROVIDE UPDATES TO THE CUSTOMERS. I would be a lot less upset if I got an email that said, "We're having issues with out supplier/equipment/alien invasions," rather than sitting here in the dark, wondering if you lost my order. #2: Put your phone number back on your website, or start answering your email. Again, if there was a 24-48hr turnaround for an email response, or if I could EASILY find your number, I wouldn't feel so in the dark. #3: Update your product "availability" statuses more than never. I have already received one of my parts, but the product page had a product availability of, "%avail" rather than a date. If you can't manage the simple things of a business, you won't be there for too long, and I can already tell you, that despite getting a discount for filling out a "Customer Service Survey," Adams Arms WILL NOT be my first choice when I'm looking for a piston system for my next build. I ordered a part form these people over a month ago and still haven't heard anything from them. I tried to call them but they took their phone number off the website...what's up with this place. the only way to get a hold of them is to contact them through there email and they don't even answer that, so what are you suppose to do if you have something you ordered and they already charged your credit card but haven't sent it out AND won't answer emails, I feel like I've been hood winked and there laughing all the way to the back. I eventually found there phone number here on Yelp but they won't even answer the phone now.
