They also rang up $$ because the court forced them to search for our niece's mother, who abandoned her and moved outside the USA with no forwarding info. Affidavits from her ex and her family were not acceptable by SF -- oh joy. So yes, it cost over double the estimate, and they could have thrown their hands up and told us to go elsewhere -- but they didn't -- they played the San Francisco game with unlimited patience.
