Sam Adams, {Sammy} is a respectable businessman. I've bought jewelry over the years from Adams Jewelry. However, a few years ago I bought a ring to Adams Jewelry to sell for me. I mainly shopped at the store in Stroudsburg out of the 4 locations that I knew of. Stroudsburg, Stroud Mall, Tannersville, and last Brodheadsville. I was trying to sell a ring that I purchased from the Stroudsburg location. I was eventually told to try the Brodheadsville location. I took the ring there. I didn't check with them for a while, waiting for a call. However, one day I drove up to the store and store was empty. I tried to call and the phone rang of the hook. I went back Tannersville, Stroudsburg as well, they all closed down. I was shock! No forwarding address or phone number. I was surprisingly disappointed. I use to take pictures in Sammy's upstairs gallery, with all the vintage ships, art work, Greek sculptures, etc... I'm sure Sammy wasn't aware of the transaction that accrued. Love this place! Over a year ago I purchased a pair of diamond earrings for my daughter. Great experience.....Pat was very professional, helpful, and extremely accommodating. My daughter was getting married and wanted to wear them, but one of the backs was misplaced and I went to see if they had one. Turns out they did not. But Pat went above and beyond and had new posts put on my daughters earrings so that she had them for her wedding day, which was in 2 days. I wanted to surprise my wife for her birthday. I went into Adams Jewelry in Tannersville. It was my first time there. Although I was treated fairly well and the selection was also pretty good. I thought the prices were way to high. I have bought lots of jewelry over the years and found this place ridiculously over priced. I don't plan on coming back only because of price. read more

My husband and I had a terrible experience here just recently. I had gotten my engagement ring here over a year ago, and don't get me wrong, it was a beautiful ring. However, I opted for an opal instead of a diamond, which ended up breaking, and that was my fault. As my wedding neared, my husband had gone in 3 weeks before the wedding and was promised by three separate people, including the Manager, Patrick, that there was plenty of time to fix the ring and have it back because all that needed to be done was switch out the stone. He was told they would call him with updates and when it would be finished. He ended up calling multiple times, and was given very minimal information about what was going on with the ring. Three days before our wedding and he was told they were getting the stone. Day before, same situation. It wasn't until 5 days after our wedding, 6 days after the promised time that we got a phone call to pick it up. If they couldn't get it in time, they should have just said so, or at least given any sort of update on the situation so we could have figured something else out. It was absolutely devastating to have to not have my engagement ring, the symbol of our love, at our wedding. Adam's Jeweler truly ruined my wedding with a broken promise. read more

I purchased an engagement ring from Adams Jewelers. The staff was courteous and helpful in making suggestions of setting styles according to taste and budget. I ordered a custom setting and band that was finished in 5 business days. The staff even sent photos of the ring being built to me via email so I could see how it was coming together. Adam's Jewelry is a wonderful place that I highly recommend. I went to Adam's Jewelry to create my engagement ring. Everyone was very nice. I brought in pictures of rings that I liked and they were able to find a ring in the store that was almost exactly like the ring that I had pictured. Adam's worked with me to create my perfect engagement ring. They constantly kept in contact with me to let me know how the process was going with my ring. I wouldn't want to go any where else for jewelry because these guys treat you like family. I went in for my wedding band not knowing what I really wanted and they were able to point me in the right direction. Not only was I happy but my fiancé was as well. As for my fathers pendant, my father recently passed away and I wanted something to remember him by. My father was a retired corrections officer and I was in a rush and needed it in about five to six days.
