Two days later, he called me and told me I can come pick up my father's lighter.... 95.00!!!!! I would have left it there except it's the only thing my father left me. ... When I went to pick up the lighter, he would only take cash and, he did not give me a receipt. I went home approximately 2-blocks away, and the lighter was not working. The next day I went back in there and he told me I should not have tried to light it. That I was not educated enough to light the lighter. He was so condescending ---- I have never met anyone so cantankerous in my life. I told him I was going to sue him. His wife quickly gave me $95 back. Please do not go there!!!!!

I was trying to sell a ring that I purchased from the Stroudsburg location. I was eventually told to try the Brodheadsville location. I took the ring there. I didn't check with them for a while, waiting for a call. However, one day I drove up to the store and store was empty. I tried to call and the phone rang of the hook. I went back Tannersville, Stroudsburg as well, they all closed down. I was shock! No forwarding address or phone number. I was surprisingly disappointed. I use to take pictures in Sammy's upstairs gallery, with all the vintage ships, art work, Greek sculptures, etc... I'm sure Sammy wasn't aware of the transaction that accrued. In and out in 30-35 minutes. They have in-house watch specialists, truly professional folks, I asked a few questions about the tachometer and how to keep the batteries long-lasting and discussed a few topics. Have owned a Loricron 4/4 Westminster regulator wall clock for decades that suddenly stopped…read moreworking on Christmas. Called shop on morning of Saturday 1/4/2025; brought the clock in circa 11am; repair person diagnosed the problem on the spot; even had an upgraded replacement mechanism in stock; received a call around 1:30 PM the same day that the clock was repaired - simply outstanding!!! The clock is working perfectly, and the new mechanism has more features than the original. Repair person even took time to explain the new mechanism operation; gave me some tips along with instruction sheet for proper setting and battery replacement. They even offer a 1-year warranty on the repair with proof of purchase. Tough to find a clock/watch repair person these days, let alone one that seems to know what he is doing. Couldn't be more pleased with the service even though some might find the repair cost a bit pricey (you get what you pay for IMHO). Am looking forward to many more years of use on a model of clock no longer in production that we just love.
