It saddens and frustrates me a little to read the negative reviews of PCA by students who attended…read morehere and missed the entire message of the love and transformational power of Christ. PCA is a Christian school - unapologetically standing on the Word of God for authority and guidance in all matters, including those pertaining to life, culture, gender, sexuality, etc. Those students who are unwilling to follow Biblical principles relating to God's design for gender and sexuality will find PCA frustrating not because the students and faculty are unloving or not caring, but because they are running counter to God's best for their lives. Period. My wife and I both work at PCA, all three of our children have attended PCA, and we have loved our time here at this school. PCA places Christ at the center of all that is done and while some have "complained" that PCA is an economically elite school, I have been amazed to see how far this school will go to make a Kingdom education available to any family that wants it! PCA raises and gives away literally millions of dollars for families to be able to attend - and PCA is at the forefront of trying to educate our state legislators on different educational funding opportunities to help address the cost of private education - instead of blaming PCA for providing an excellent education, those who are frustrated with the cost should be contacting their state legislators and asking why other states have passed laws that make private education more affordable and Texas hasn't. I personally know the students who have taken the time to write their negative reviews and I feel sorry for their anger and frustration, but again, their perspective of the school is really more of a commentary on their perspective on Biblical Christianity itself. If you want a school that adheres to the principles of Scripture and isn't tossed to and fro by the winds of the current cultural chaos, the comments of these students should help you understand that PCA isn't willing to compromise on Biblical truth. My prayers are with those students that they would one day know the truth and the truth would set them free.

Has nothing to do with the performance and quality of the academy. I'm a single mom with very limited income. My son had an amazing experience at PCA. When I lost my job and couldn't afford tuition, PCA did everything possible to keep my son there. Everything down to lowering tuition SUBSTANTIALLY to asking me to apply there!!! In the end I decided to put him in public school based on my financial situation. They were amazing! Let us out of the contract, offered very low tuition and even multiple months tuition free to help me get on my feet! When my son entered public (Plano) he was literally bored, because everything he was being taught, he had learned a year ago at PCA!!! Great place for the whole family, great experience and yes, good people that care!

We moved to Plano in January 2015, not far from the school. It was my task to explore the area for pre-schools for the granddaughter, who was then 2. The very first moment I spoke with St. Paul's, I had a sense that this place was exceptional. How right I was! Now, that same granddaughter is 4 1/2, finishing her pre-K, and her little brother has finished the "two's" class. There are no words to describe the quality of their experience here: it's kind of a "perfect storm" of serious Christian education, lovingly dispensed character-building, and top-notch pedagogy. I like to tell people that we (and this includes the students, moms, dads, extended family) can feel the love daily, the minute we drive onto the parking lot. Ms. Barbara Shakal, Headmistress, one of the most amazing educators I I've ever met (and I am both grandma and a retired professor, so I've seen a bit of education in my lifetime). Her vision, her strength, patience, humor, and spiritual solidity spread to the whole staff. I cannot tell you how many hours she spends not just with the kids and staff, but with the moms, and grandmas and others who need advice, comforting, direction, and confirmation as to the right directions for the child and family. Besides that, she's just a blast to talk with. Each of the teachers our grandchildren have had (Ms. Donna, Ms. Allie, Ms. Wendy, Ms. Lori, Ms. Michelle, plus Ms. Lorilee, and I fear I'm missing someone, but all names should be in this list) has been an experienced, solid, joyful, concerned, and creative teacher. The special events are marvelous, for example the "Cat in the Hat" night (too fun), the Christmas program, the beautiful Mother's Day Tea (elegant, just elegant). So much effort goes into these things. Okay, I'm going on and on. Can you tell I love this school? There's never a day that our family doesn't give gratitude for the experience these little ones have had there, and the way their experience has also affected and blessed our family. In short, Hats off to St. Paul's.

We have been extremely happy with our time at All Saints…read more The teachers are what make this place so special. You can tell they genuinely care about the children as individuals, not just academically, but emotionally and spiritually too. It feels like they're truly invested in helping each child grow, and that kind of environment is priceless as a parent. One of the things we love most is the commitment to small class sizes. It makes such a difference in the level of attention and support the kids receive, and it creates a close-knit community. We also really appreciate that the school is authentically Catholic. The faith is not just a label. It's woven into daily life in a meaningful, genuine way, and it's something we value so much for our family. We feel grateful to be part of this school community and would absolutely recommend it to any family looking for strong academics, caring teachers, and a faithful Catholic environment.

It felt like wink from God as I had recently reconnected to my Faith after many years. I really envisioned a few days of focused prayer and intention, and some alone time. What I got was so more more. I have never been surrounded by so much pure welcoming love, support and women of true faith. The experience changed my life and I am forever grateful for that little invite from a stranger. During this experience I had personal interactions with the OLA Priests, Women's and Men's Groups who fed us. I do not attend this church as I often drive from Frisco to Dallas to attend with my sister and mother. I am considering it as I have not found another group of women of pure faith with nothing but love for others. I really liked the The priest and he did a great job of guiding me through my first confession after a very long time. They even had little cards to guide you through the process. The first day after the welcome breakfast and we started our procession into mass singing a song I didn't know...I thought "oh boy what have I done I do not belong here". I quickly told myself you are here for a reason. God is calling you, be open to the experience. Don't let fear keep you from something wonderful. I am so glad I stayed. It changed my life. This is a Catholic Church filled with people of Faith in God, guided by the holy spirit and see Jesus as the truth, the light and the only way to God. Did you know The word "catholic" originates from the Greek word "katholikos," meaning "universal". This sense refers to something that is all-embracing, broad, or inclusive, rather than limited to a specific group or place. It's for all people and all are welcome, just as Jesus intended. BeWell- I dont care where you go to find it, I hope you find the peace your heart desires all you need to do is plug back into GOD and ask for his help. Read his word every day. It will blow your mind. Come back to mass. God Loves YOU.
