I had an opportunity to attend a gospel concert at this church. This place is beautiful. The sanctuary is beautiful. They have to indoor ponds , coffee shops, nursing area for families, bookstore . I seen Cain , Jon Reddick, John and Caleb they put on an amazing show. They did worship played family feud , donation to kids through world vision. lots of christian faith based radio station personalities. It was will worth the drive to carrollton tx. I found truth about this church when my students and I helped them with Christmas cards for the givings. The meaning of Christmas lies in honoring God's greatest gift of His Son for our salvation, and our gift-giving should be a retlection of this truth, correct? But we were banned for writing the Name of Christ on the cards nor on the foods. So, I contacted three pastors by email. Jim W. asked me to contact Estee who is in charge of the event. Libin Abraham would not reply my email but he wants to talk on the phone. Steve Frissell replied in saying, "We've been partnering with McWhorter for more than 15 years and I have seen multiple people come to Bent Tree as we have followed their guidelines. One of the guidelines is not including the name of Jesus. This isn't an error than needs correcting. This is how we love our neighbor well. When Apostle Paul and Barnabas were on their first missionary trip, the Name of Jesus was not welcomed to Antioch, so they shook the dust off their feet and moved on to another city, Iconium in Ac.13:51. They followed what Jesus had taught them in Matthew 10:14 "If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet." Jesus was telling His disciples that where they were rejected, they had no further responsibility. "So they shook the dust off their feet as a warning to them and went to Iconium." Ac. 13:51 WHAT IF the disciples had taken the situation in their own hands saying "We will do anything we can to love our neighbors and disobey His teaching!! Past 15 years the Name of Jesus was buried by the agreement of this church. And Heaven has been grieving over it. I said to Steve, "Judas Iscariot agreed to identify Jesus to the Roman authorities in exchange for 30 pieces of silver. Bent Tree agreed to remove the Name of Jesus in exchange for their givings & love so that there would be more traffic = more money to Bent Tree?? What is the difference between the two?" Chosen Ones, hear this! The church that stands on the Word no matter the cost, where the fire of God never went out on the altar and the Word of God was honored, followed and obeyed above every opinion, every regulation, and every man not to be altered, compromised, diluted, or manipulated in the name of LOVE is the one Jesus is coming back for. The danger is that Bent Tree church continues singing and operates as though the Spirit never left. The Holy Spirit does NOT stay in a church that removed the name of Jesus over 15 yrs for their own love and didn't walk in Revelation God gave us. Don't forget that by His Name we are saved. Bent Tree became our home church after relocating from Austin with our 1-year old. We fell in love! After a year, we dedicated our daughter. Although, we are not at service every Sunday, we find joy and acceptance everytime we are there. Lion Heart Acadamy I also amazing for our 10 year old's after school care! It is hard to describe how wonderful this church is. From walking into a clam serene welcoming atmosphere filled with trees, water area and the warm welcome of the volunteers. Pastor Libin is engaging and so inspiring to listen to, preaching from the Bible using historical information. My daughter found the coffee shop that is located within the building as a place to study in a calm and peaceful environment. She asked me to join her there for church. If your teenager feels so welcome and asks you to go to church with her, it truly is a special place. We have been attending for two years now and truly love Bent Tree. read more

It is amazing I am currently 12 about to be 13 in may and I think they do an awesome job, I will be going on a missions journey in the summer, and also I have been baptized here. I have been going since I was little, and they are doing an awesome job. Liben Abraham has done an amazing job preaching. All of the MSM/HSM has worked so hard to help and praise and preach while bringing people to Christ. Kevin Rund the MSM leader tries to make it a fun experience while preaching and helping people come to life, 10/10 would definitely recommend you come here, as they have really touched my hearts and I hope it will to you too. read more

Love this nondenominational church. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Pastor Libin is wonderful with his sermons and funny too. Versatile community as well. Coffee shop present and free coffee setup as well. There are life groups, Sunday school for kids, and volunteer opportunities. Great pastor, great modern facility, and a good kid's program. Details are nailed at this mega-church, from the professional graphics and video presentations (mind-blowing, quite frankly) to the speedy parking due to off duty policy officers. Pastor Pete Briscoe is the real deal, 100% genuine. He's so good there's no reason why he couldn't be doing his sermons to a national audience on TV. His messages are practical, understandable, and relatable to those watching him speak. Highly recommended church! read more

Why would anyone rate a church less than 5 stars? I mean... it's a church. You're judging at a church? Geez... j/k though, guys. I think we'll be forgiven. Anyway, I do like this church. Been going here for about a month, and I enjoy it quite well. The people who go here are genuine, there's no need to dress up, they've got a coffee place (pretty decent coffee), and the pastor can teach really well. Some pastors? Not so gifted with teaching. Pete Briscoe? Definitely gifted with teaching. They've got several ministry options (young adults, special needs, missions, etc.), and this church is one we've found that actually knows how to be the church as a body... which is pretty hard to find here in the "Bible belt." Also, we've found it pretty easy to get connected despite how big the church is. Anyway, if you're looking for a church and you're in the area, give it a shot.
