I knew going solar was more complicated than it needs to be. I feel like this presentation really clarified all I need to get solar and advocate for solar. Kurt informed us that "leasing" or allowing a "lean" against our mortgage is more harmful than helpful. Also, that the "very nice guys" who come to my house really are not from New Mexico, rather they are selling my desire for solar to a 3rd party and can cause issues in the future if there are problems. I don't want solar to be known for anything like this. Going green should be easy. I love how Kurt and Solar Works Energy makes this easy!!! Educating me on the "roll-over" on my PNM bill takes me back to the good 'ol days of cell phones and gives me comfort in knowing that what is mine is not lost. The saving stretch into those months during the year where we are a) charged more, b) use more. Yes, PNM charges more in the months we use more. *Mind Blown* Solar has never looked so good- I want the whole of New Mexico to be a production metering in the new future. Wouldn't that be great? Net metering right now before PNM is bought out to grandfather me into my solar bill sounds like a plan. This means we cannot sleep on this!!! Add the fact that financing solar is 5-10% less than what PNM charges and the bill does not change? This move is the same as planting 6,577 trees per year!! Removing 56 cars off the road per year!!! Driving 25k less miles per year!!! For me, a minimalist this is choice. 25 year warranty! Panasonic backed products. No cash down. Locally monitored. Federal (26%) and State (10%) tax credits. $25-$30k total. 40-60 days from start to finish (due to city of Albuquerque contracts). 36% tax credit. Indebted to the financing of solar for however many years you finance verse to PNM (or whomever) for the rest of your life. Increase the value of your home. Save Mother Earth. A company with ethics that is local. This feels like a win/win. Send them a copy of your PNM bill, see if it's right for you. I bought a voucher from Amazon local and had never had a professional carpet cleaning service…read morebefore (and still have not) so I though to give it a try. I called at 7 am and I must have woke the person up (even though the web site say they open at that time). A groggy female voice said hello when I said why I was calling she hung up on me. So I though I had the wrong number or it had been change so I used the email link they had to request a cleaning and a call back (never heard back), so the next day I called Amazon to ensure this company was still in business they said they where, so I tryied again in the afternoon this time and the same female voice from the attempt two days before answered (but more awake). This time she takes my info said that a crew will be to my home on Monday (4 day from the call) at around 4 PM. So on that Monday I called to ask is there anything I need to do for the crew that is coming like move the furniture, she said "do you have an appointment", I said yes, I called you at this time, this is the information that you had given me, etc. She replies I don't have you in the system . I don't know what happened, I'm going to call the crews that are out and Ill call you right back. So after waiting over 24 hours I called Amazon again and had my account refunded. Beware of this company. I'm a big believer in staying small and local but lll pay half the price and not have to wait around by doing it myself.

No one ever showed up and no one would answer the phone. Late Friday someone finally answered the phone and stated we were never in the system. Appt was rescheduled for the following Monday morning 9-11 am. 10:40 am a tech finally shows up and is trying so hard to talk us into getting furnace repair done, when we know (our plumber brother has checked it out) that we do not need it done. We tell him thanks, but no, we just want our ducts cleaned. When he hears we are using a Groupon for $35 for whole house duct cleaning, he tells us no that is a misprint and he will only do 3 vents in the house for that price. We tell him we verified with the person on the phone that this Groupon was for the whole house (as is clearly states) yet he refuses. He tells us that person was mistaken also and he will not do it. I've never dealt with a more unprofessional company, that would not honor deals they have clearly offered. Tech told us repeatedly he was a "1/3 owner" and that Groupon deal was coming down soon. Clearly he was not a fan, and was just refusing to do the work. Needless, to say we had them leave our house without doing any work!!

I have an open floor plan in my house, and I wanted them to build a soffit to delineate space between the kitchen/dining area and the living room, put a faux beam under it, and make it look like it's always been there. I also wanted them to attach faux beams from the soffit to the wall across the space to create a modern take on Viga beams. They did a stunning job. The quality of their craftsmanship is clear. Everyone from start to finish was professional, courteous, and kind. I was sincerely impressed by this team and will be using them in future renovation projects.
