This was my first visit to The Creamery in Marysville earlier this Sunday morning (1/11/26)…read more It is located off of State and Grant where there are several other businesses and adjacent to a Safeway and Safeway fuel station. I was able to find parking right out front. There were several people socializing outside and various parties seated inside. There is a large main dining area, as well as, additional seating off to the side from the entrance. Decent natural light, assorted seating configurations, and very clean. Upon entry, one sees the pastry case filled with fresh baked items, including items that are noted as gluten free. I glanced and didn't see anything savory for breakfast during this visit, but selected a giant cherry danish for The Homie. When I arrived at home, I measured the widest diameter, it was seven inches across, which was pretty impressive. There are also spigots for self serve ice cream and frozen yogurt against one wall. There is quite the vast assortment of toppings to customize your frozen treat. I'm sure this place is very crowded during warmer months. I also got a 16oz mocha, no whip, to go. Featured coffee roasts are from Whidbey Coffee. Very welcoming counter person/barista, who crafted a very tasty mocha. This kept me warm later while I waited in line at another business further down State. Great indie cafe destination since 2016. Took me a decade to check out The Creamery. But better late, than never.

These tiny tastes from heaven were absolutely delightful and delicious - pure joy in every bite! We ordered three types of mini cupcakes, one dozen of each baked with traditional flour, and one dozen of each with gluten free. The cake of each variety was incredibly moist and tender, a perfect sponge that practically melted in the mouth. This is an achievement worthy of accolades! The stars of the party were the rich, custom-made German chocolate cupcakes. These were a special request, the favorite of the birthday celebrant. A broad age range of discerning foodies raved about these delectable treats. The second, vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream that were artfully frosted to resemble sunflowers, which added such an imaginative and charming touch to the celebration. The third, chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. The sheer balance of flavors is noteworthy. The richness was there, and it never overwhelmed; the sweetness was present, and it wasn't dominant. It was a harmonious symphony of buttery, chocolatey, sugary perfection. Each cupcake was a tiny work of art, beautifully crafted and almost too pretty to eat. Almost. As you can see in the picture, a few were eaten before a photo could be snapped. What a good problem to have! These scrumptious creations also thoughtfully incorporated the themes of the party. Weaving together baking, decorating, and listening are a very rare and welcomed set of gifts, which generate top-notch expertise in their craft. I highly recommend The Creamery Co. for any special occasion.

There is not much boba competition in Marysville. There is free parking and I like their later hours. Every aspect of the place (design, seats, merch, cow logo, etc) seems very well thought out which I appreciate. The cafe is very spacious, and there is a lot of seating for casual hangouts or studying. There is free Wifi. Service is very fast and the workers are very kind. There is only 1 size of drinks and not too many options, which I like. I think too many options can be overwhelming. I got the Jasmine Oolong milk tea, and it's sooo good. I prefer less sweet drinks, and 50% sweet definitely delivered that. Boba is lightly sweet and QQ. I've never tried their food, but I would be interested in it!

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #90…read more We visited Laboba in the late afternoon while driving back down from the North Cascades. This is a very large, open shop with lots of seating. It seems like a popular hangout place for highschool and college students especially over the weekends. We tried out one drink to start: Jasmine Oolong Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Honey Boba ($6.70) - The taste of the tea is very interesting. It's gives off a malty aroma and a certain earthiness with roasted caramel notes and only a slight rounded flowery fragrance instead of the brighter flower notes in jasmine green tea. The drink isn't too sweet at all at 50% and the creamer amount used is appropriate, which really allows the tea flavors to shine. The ice level is a bit too much though - with the drink done there were still a lot of unmelted chips of ice on the bottom. The boba is sticky and soft on the outside, clearly marinated in honey for a while. The interior, unfortunately, has a much firmer bite and is rather rough in mouthfeel. It's a pleasing soft bounce for much of the pearl until reaching closer to the center. They don't give enough boba for the drink, with all the pearls running out with about a fifth of the liquid remaining. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 Laboba is a very nice addition to Marysville. I wasn't expecting such great boba this far north of Lynnwood. I'll be stopping by again the next time I drive through this area. Bathrooms - One unisex room

Cute and nice Tea Room to go for birthdays!…read more We went here to celebrate my friends birthday since she wanted High Tea and we got the Grand Lady for three of us. When we arrived we got to choose our own special teacup to drink out of. I liked having the option to choose. The Tea Room is all decked out in well decorated spaces to enjoy high tea with a group of friends. Compared to another High tea place I went to it's not as fancy and more casual and more affordable option if you want a lowkey place to enjoy the activity. In the Grand Lady option, we got a sorbet with a savory. The sorbet was watermelon flavored and I really liked it. The savory option was this little bread with cheese? It was alright. We had tiers for our desserts and sandwiches. There was a variety of six different sandwiches and about five different desserts. I really liked the jalapeño jam sandwich, it was different and I also liked the bread pudding. In the middle tier of the desserts there were these big scones and we each chose our topping. I was expecting the topping to be in a ceramic container but it was in a plastic one. Nothing particularly bad about that just something to note! I liked that Attic Secrets actually has a wide variety when it comes to tea options, like the list is long to choose from. I really enjoyed my Summer in Seattle black tea. I would come back again to enjoy a chill high tea experience with my friends!

Heading north, we found ourselves at this charming tea house, where even Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance. They were incredibly kind to the children, taking the time to walk around the tea house and chat with guests, adding a special touch to the experience. From the moment you step inside, the place feels incredibly inviting. I could write a novel about how adorable it is. Each tea room has its own theme--ours was Alice in Wonderland, which was perfect for our 4-year-old companion. Kids are warmly welcomed, and they even have special kid-friendly plates. The food was average, but the tea was the star of the show. We tried several varieties, sharing among our group, which is definitely the way to go if you want to sample a bit of everything. I left with a bag full of tea, and each one is absolutely delicious! I'm puzzled why they have 3.3 stars. Go and see for yourself.
