    Sandwiches are a bit thin
    Yuchen Z.

I came here for a nine-year-old tea birthday party and it was adorable. GLOWS: - I loved how there were individual rooms for different groups of people so it felt very private for parties. They were all decorated differently so you had a whole thing going on and it was all very cute. - We liked all the teas we tried, and there was a very large selection of teas. - Were our favorite. They were moist and really buttery and yummy and I loved eating it with the lemon custard and the whip cream. - the cakes were given that were very moist and flavorful and there was a chocolate one and a vanilla one - their gluten-free was very impressive, and my friend was very pleased that she was able to eat something. She said her gluten-free items were all very good. GROWS - The first savory item that the tea set came with was not good at all. I'm not even sure what it was, but it tasted like cardboard. It was like a cheese and chive biscuit or something and it just tasted like cardboard. Not to mention it was tiny. - the sandwiches that the tea sets came with could've been filled with a little more filling. I felt like there were quite thin for what they were. Some of them I couldn't even tell what the fillings were because it was like a sliver of an apple or a sliver of spread. - though all the rooms were very cute, Everything seemed a little outdated and older looking. It wasn't modern by any means. - I don't think a lot of people work here so sometimes it was hard to get the attention of the servers. As long as you are aware of this, it shouldn't be too bad because you can just make sure you have everything in advance or go to the door by the kitchen to get their attention. They just seem understaffed so they don't come check in with you as much. Also, because the rooms are all separated it might be hard for them to know you're trying to wave them down. Overall, the nine-year-old had a wonderful time and so that the adults that were there. We enjoyed the meal and we were full by the time we left. We even took home leftovers. Looking back now I would not get Grand lady because that was not really necessary And the price was not really worth it so next time I would get one step down.

The entire time we were eating the dirty plates were just sitting there.

Used to love this place! NOT ANYMORE. I will not be coming back to this place. The last couple times I've been here it has not been cozy or comforting. There is no music and the ambient lighting is very sterile. It's cold and unwelcoming. There are only 2 employees and they don't clean up after tables leave, they leave food sitting there. The host doesn't smile and doesn't seem happy to have customers. The owner is extremely unorganized and forgot half of our order. A couple of years ago when the old owner was running this place it was amazing but now I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's not worth your money and time.

Good food and good service! It's a hidden place in Marysville, I'm glad I found it. I took my Mom there for her birthday. Was a fun experience for us both.

This was my first visit to The Creamery in Marysville earlier this Sunday morning (1/11/26)…read more It is located off of State and Grant where there are several other businesses and adjacent to a Safeway and Safeway fuel station. I was able to find parking right out front. There were several people socializing outside and various parties seated inside. There is a large main dining area, as well as, additional seating off to the side from the entrance. Decent natural light, assorted seating configurations, and very clean. Upon entry, one sees the pastry case filled with fresh baked items, including items that are noted as gluten free. I glanced and didn't see anything savory for breakfast during this visit, but selected a giant cherry danish for The Homie. When I arrived at home, I measured the widest diameter, it was seven inches across, which was pretty impressive. There are also spigots for self serve ice cream and frozen yogurt against one wall. There is quite the vast assortment of toppings to customize your frozen treat. I'm sure this place is very crowded during warmer months. I also got a 16oz mocha, no whip, to go. Featured coffee roasts are from Whidbey Coffee. Very welcoming counter person/barista, who crafted a very tasty mocha. This kept me warm later while I waited in line at another business further down State. Great indie cafe destination since 2016. Took me a decade to check out The Creamery. But better late, than never.

These tiny tastes from heaven were absolutely delightful and delicious - pure joy in every bite! We ordered three types of mini cupcakes, one dozen of each baked with traditional flour, and one dozen of each with gluten free. The cake of each variety was incredibly moist and tender, a perfect sponge that practically melted in the mouth. This is an achievement worthy of accolades! The stars of the party were the rich, custom-made German chocolate cupcakes. These were a special request, the favorite of the birthday celebrant. A broad age range of discerning foodies raved about these delectable treats. The second, vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream that were artfully frosted to resemble sunflowers, which added such an imaginative and charming touch to the celebration. The third, chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. The sheer balance of flavors is noteworthy. The richness was there, and it never overwhelmed; the sweetness was present, and it wasn't dominant. It was a harmonious symphony of buttery, chocolatey, sugary perfection. Each cupcake was a tiny work of art, beautifully crafted and almost too pretty to eat. Almost. As you can see in the picture, a few were eaten before a photo could be snapped. What a good problem to have! These scrumptious creations also thoughtfully incorporated the themes of the party. Weaving together baking, decorating, and listening are a very rare and welcomed set of gifts, which generate top-notch expertise in their craft. I highly recommend The Creamery Co. for any special occasion.

There is not much boba competition in Marysville. There is free parking and I like their later hours. Every aspect of the place (design, seats, merch, cow logo, etc) seems very well thought out which I appreciate. The cafe is very spacious, and there is a lot of seating for casual hangouts or studying. There is free Wifi. Service is very fast and the workers are very kind. There is only 1 size of drinks and not too many options, which I like. I think too many options can be overwhelming. I got the Jasmine Oolong milk tea, and it's sooo good. I prefer less sweet drinks, and 50% sweet definitely delivered that. Boba is lightly sweet and QQ. I've never tried their food, but I would be interested in it!

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #90…read more We visited Laboba in the late afternoon while driving back down from the North Cascades. This is a very large, open shop with lots of seating. It seems like a popular hangout place for highschool and college students especially over the weekends. We tried out one drink to start: Jasmine Oolong Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Honey Boba ($6.70) - The taste of the tea is very interesting. It's gives off a malty aroma and a certain earthiness with roasted caramel notes and only a slight rounded flowery fragrance instead of the brighter flower notes in jasmine green tea. The drink isn't too sweet at all at 50% and the creamer amount used is appropriate, which really allows the tea flavors to shine. The ice level is a bit too much though - with the drink done there were still a lot of unmelted chips of ice on the bottom. The boba is sticky and soft on the outside, clearly marinated in honey for a while. The interior, unfortunately, has a much firmer bite and is rather rough in mouthfeel. It's a pleasing soft bounce for much of the pearl until reaching closer to the center. They don't give enough boba for the drink, with all the pearls running out with about a fifth of the liquid remaining. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 Laboba is a very nice addition to Marysville. I wasn't expecting such great boba this far north of Lynnwood. I'll be stopping by again the next time I drive through this area. Bathrooms - One unisex room

The owner is friendly, assertive, and efficient. She gets that people sometimes need to stop in quickly. I like the concept! When I went to check on my order I was met with a bunch of attitude pointing to a sign that they don't serve fast food and they only have two blenders. When I brought up one example of a person who ordered explicitly after me had been served before me, they said she had ordered before me (the customer let us go in front of her because she was still deciding when we came), waited 40 mins (when we had as well), and they fulfilled her order because she cancelled another part of her order... - If you only have two blenders, why are you blending other orders ahead of mine? A bunch of people ordered smoothies 30 mins after me and were all getting their orders shortly after purchasing. Very disappointed, especially as I had been 2 purchases away from filling up my rewards card with them and had not experienced treatment/wait time like this before. It also didn't help that today is my mom's birthday and we had to deal with this hassle.
