I had an appointment scheduled for 10 weeks so that I would be sure to get in before Christmas that got canceled due to her being sick which is understandable. What is not understandable is that I never received a call back to reschedule and when I called back to reschedule she was fully booked and couldn't get me in. I expressed to the receptionist my disappointment and asked if she could have Fran look at her schedule to see if she could fit me in. I never once said anything bad about Fran just that I was disappointed because I really wanted to get in before Christmas. The next day I received a very nasty and unprofessional text from Fran that was completely uncalled for. I was shocked that someone who relies on clients to have a job would be so unprofessional. I have been a long time client of hers and even gave her the benefit of the doubt back in September when she cut my hair so uneven that several people noticed and I had to return to get it fixed. The booking process was very easy - they do require a deposit for services over $200 but the deposit goes to the service so you are kind of saving yourself cash when booking ahead! I was booked with Madison King - she was phenomenal from the PREconsultation email to actually doing my hair - she let me know what she was doing every step of the way! Since I was booked for a model call I wasn't expecting to get to pick my colors but I love how I was given a choice - I told her blue and sea green and what I ended up with is incredible! I made an appointment few weeks ahead as I have 2 little babies. !!! At 11pm I got text from master to reschedule from 10.30 to 12pm as she had something urgent. I asked how much process will take, she said 3.5-4 hrs. So I was able to change my plans (and I always plan for an extra hour + to what master said). It supposed to be all done by 5 pm in worst case scenario. By 5 pm only color was done, it takes 5 hrs instead of 4, which would be ok but it doesn't include hair cut. She said another 30-40 min. But I had absolutely no time and I don't know what cut could be done for 30 min. About the color, I asked for warm blond wheat color. Instead I got ugly cold dark grey. She also died my roots in very warm color. I was so disappointed with final color so forgot to asked why roots were touched. However, no apologies only excuses. Master offered to redo color. I made another appointment in a week to give master another chance. But before appt I told her I want just a cut instead of color because I'm afraid of worse result. In a week color washed from dark to light grey, but it still too cold and ashy and too far from what I wanted. Master Albina said in a month it will be the color I need. Yes that exactly what I need in holiday season. I'm surprised she didn't shave my hair and tell in few months it will be length you want. Hair cut was ok, but too pricy $70 for bob haircut. It was a bad idea to give Albina another chance. Customer service - Should I mention it was the rudest, coldest and careless master I've ever met? Maybe she doesn't need new customers. Also, since I'm a perfectionist she helped me with some touch ups and was very thorough in helping catch any places that needed additional fixing. I love that she was super empathetic and understanding about getting every single hair detail just right until I was satisfied (I've definitely noticed other stylists in the past seeming annoyed about fixing up and redoing an area)! I had compliments as soon as I walked out and all day long! My hair also FELT healthy and soft. I had a Deep Keratin Conditioning treatment with a blowout. She spent her time with me, giving advise and treating me like gold. It's a small place but sleek and sharp. Everyone was friendly and said hello. It was busy and all the clients were smiling and chatting. The owner said they are expanding soon and I can see why. This is a place to go if you want people who are great with hair and don't need all the bells and whistles. PLUS they did not pressure me into buying the products - I actually asked and she was very honest that YES I could order on line for less but actually with shipping its about the same. BUT she said if I didn't like it, I could return it. She even suggest I try a smaller size before investing in a larger one. She uses the product herself and her hair looks Amazing. That proved to me she is confident in her skill and doesn't need to make me feel like I've been ripped off and look like poop (as I found with other Salons) to get my business. When I was checking out they DID NOT pressure me into giving a tip. I was the one to say can you add a tip. PLEASE check it out. Even if it's for something simple like I did. Easy to find and EASY to park.
