A staffing agency is supposed to act as a liaison between you and the company, but the communication, professionalism, and handling of my contract's termination were appallingly bad. Based on my experience, I recommend avoiding this agency if possible. I got my contract through a friend at the company, which uses Snelling for contractors. My first interaction was with Monica Santoyo, who seemed pleasant at first--but that didn't last. From the start, issues piled up. I was told to email my time weekly, then told to use a faulty app that never worked properly. Repeated attempts to resolve the issue were ignored until I involved the company's HR. Only then did Monica finally respond. Even when they switched me to a website, it was riddled with bugs, and responses to support inquiries were painfully slow. Another issue: I was charged $24 for a background check without prior notice. When I pointed this out to Monica, she apologized but didn't bother informing future contractors about the fee, which feels shady and unprofessional. Communication about my contract was non-existent--I learned from the company's HR (not Snelling) that my contract was ending early. Monica only texted me on a *Sunday morning* after the contract had already ended to inform me, which was laughably late and highly unprofessional. When I called out their lack of communication and professionalism, Monica dismissed my concerns with a half-hearted apology. To make matters worse, I later learned she bad-mouthed me to the company, claiming I was "nasty" when I had been nothing but frustrated with their incompetence. This confirmed just how toxic and unprofessional this agency really is. If you're considering working with Snelling, prepare for a frustrating experience filled with poor communication, lack of support, and unprofessional behavior. There are better staffing agencies out there--choose one that actually values its contractors.

Utterly useless as I spent nearly two full hours of travel time on my one day off from work to your Manhattan New York City office to meet with a recruiter. I was never contacted afterwards after numerous yet tiredless follow-ups on my part.
