Let me tell you, I've recently developed a strong passion for Adidas. I want Adidas everything - shoes, sweaters, pants, shirts, everything. I came here for new sneakers because my old Adidas sneakers were ruined. The store itself wasn't too big, but they had a decent selection for its size. They had their classic styles, along with a wide variety of running shoes, which is what I came for. I tried on a bunch of them and eventually found a pair that I loved. None of the staff helped me, but I didn't really need it because I could easily help myself. All the boxes were on the shelves so I could just grab my size and try them on. Since this is an outlet store, they had some good sales. The pair I bought wad 30% off, but the newer styles were full price. The checkout process was straightforward and easy. I'll 100% come here again to feed my Adidas addiction.

Apparently shoes are only meant to last 6 weeks at Adidas and Tom the store manager uses words like outside of policy and sorry I can't help you when interacting with customers....hmmmmm. Should probably just stick with Nike!

On Friday, July 5th 5:45 I encountered a locked door (well inside the regular opening hours). This was the third time in a year that I went to Harvard Square in vain. Occasionally I need repairs. Leather World seems to be the only Rimowa option around Boston. A half dozen repairs were done okay, but not always on the first try. Often they leave glue residues inside and never make an effort to remove dents. I had repairs done in Frankfurt at the the airport and in Beijing with much better results.

This store has beautiful, high-quality luggage that I dream of being able to afford…read more Until then, it has plenty else that is useful: every kind of travel adapter you could possibly need for traveling to any country in world. Savvy-traveler items like a money belt; a clothesline for stringing up in your hotel room so you don't have to bring so damn many clothes or overpay for hotel laundry service; the world's best-engineered travel toiletry bottles (won't break or ooze open in your suitcase; you'll never need to buy another set after buying these). The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The last time I was there, a salesperson talked me out of buying a voltage converter so I could be prepared for every possible scenario on an upcoming trip, and told me that almost all electronics made within the last 5 years have built-in converters. Talking me out of buying things I don't need--now that's a store I'll go back to.
