I had absolutely no idea our unit wasn't purchased from his business, but on the "marketplace". I don't know what that is. I never once went to his home and picked up the unit. I signed a contract, we had a date for the install, he came on the date - bringing the unit with him, and installed it. We shut it down for the winter and when we started it back up the following spring, it would only blow out warm air. Jim did come down to our home in June of that year with a temporary fix. He had to order a part , said it would be in quickly, and would be back to fix it. We never heard back so I messaged him several times. I was told he was working on a huge job and couldn't get to it just then. I waited a while and messaged him again. I was then told his family had suffered the devastating effects from the hurricane last year and he was helping them. I still have the messages I replied to him with stating my concern for them and to take care of his family. This spring rolls along and I messaged and called him with no reply. It wasn't until I placed this negative review on yelp that he finally came and fixed it. At no cost. Of course it's at no cost. He told us last year it was covered under warranty. Would not recommend.

I never imagined that I would be taking off and landing a plane on the water. This was never on my bucket list. So we were hanging out at the beautiful Adirondacks lake and I noticed that the seaplanes were landing on the lake. It immediately caught my attention and I was super excited to try it out. We enquired the price by calling them. So their minimum price is $90 and if you have more than 2 then it's priced at $40 each. It's very nominal considering the fact that you would be taken on a unique experience. For some it could be once in a lifetime opportunity. I was very nervous when the flight was about to take off. Trust me it's scary when your pilot is 81 years old. But he is one of the most experienced pilots so that helped calm my nerves. We went around many lakes and we also saw a YMCA camp from up above. The ride is usually 15 mins but we got a little extra because my friend's cousins knew Jim Payne. Overall, we had a great time. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the Adirondacks mountains.

The staff is friendly and willing to help you. It was nice to just walk around and get lost looking at all the different items they sell.
