The people here are SO nice. I was able to call and buy an item over the phone for my step mother who lives out of town. They made the process super easy and I was even able to provide all of her payment information over the phone to secure the item. I really liked their zodiac stuff and candles. They definitely have something for everyone and the prices reflect that as well.

I am a huge fan of Adjectives Market and it makes so much sense for there to be an Adjectives Market on Park Avenue in downtown Winter Park. Adjectives Market is a great shop with an eclectic selection of merchandise. Think of it as a very upscale thrift store or consignment shop. I mean this in a very complimentary way.this particular Adjectives Market is smaller than others, but it hasa good selection. As for prices, since it is multiple vendors, some of the prices are better than others and some prices are decent and some are honestly pretty outlandish. The service here is friendly, outgoing and professional and added to my overall experience. Adjectives Market is a great place. I buy a lot of gifts here and honestly, some of those gifts (and maybe even a lot of those gifts) are for me. I would definitely recommend a visit to this particular Adjectives Market or any Adjectives Market.

Beautiful store full of amazing little treasures. So many unique gifts and full of one of a kind items. Highly worth a visit. The staff is super friendly as well.

Opened in October of 2020 on Park Avenue, this is the fourth Adjectives store and the second in Winter Park to open. The first location opened in 2012 in Altamonte Springs. I first fell in love with Adjectives after visiting their store in Winter Haven Founded by former attorney Jeremy Thompson, Adjectives sells new, antique, and vintage items. They focus on unique but affordable items. The idea for adjectives came to Jeremy from his love of the kind of vintage markets you find in New York, Atlanta, and Miami. He wanted the store to show how vintage items could be incorporated into modern design. Adjectives was chosen for the name of the store because it represents the large vocabulary one would need to describe it. The store curates new and vintage inspired home decor. Everything was so beautifully displayed. Items they sell include holiday decorations, furniture, clothes, accessories, jewelry, and home goods. A mixture of artists, home decor experts, and craftsmen are selling you their best ideas and items. This store solves the problem I have when I go to antique malls or stores. You can see an item you love on a dusty shelf but you can't work out in your mind how it will fit into your space. Everything here is displayed in such a thoughtful way that you can easily imagine it in your own home. I especially love to visit when they have all of their holiday decor out. If you are looking for a one of a kind gift, this is the perfect place to shop. On this visit my favorite find was a T-shirt listing all of the things that make up Florida, skeeters, love bugs, sun poison, swamp ass, lighting-ing, gators, pollergies, sea cows. LOL. This store also has a lot of items specific to Winter Park like pillows that say I love WP and which have the Winter Park zip code on them. I could spend hours scouring their shelves and it is the kind of store where I want everything. I just wish they would open in South Florida. For now I have to be content with shopping when I visit Central Florida.

This market is a cute nook for artists, collectors, and anyone interested in quirky interior design pieces! While the price range is on the more expensive side of things, it's lovely for window-shopping and local art. I found this spot because it's right across the street from the farmers market and between all the wonderful brunch spots that weekends at winter park has to offer! Definitely check it out!!

    Gorgeous well-lit interior...

I am a HUGE fan of Adjectives Market and see it as a brilliant addition to Park Avenue in Winter Park. The amount of foot traffic is sure to be impressive during this holiday season as, around every corner and on each shelf, you are bound to find a unique gift. Some items - furniture, artwork, lighting fixtures, etc. - will carry a heftier price tag, but look closely, my fellow shoppers. I defy anyone to not find some lovely treasure they may have never seen before but are certain would make a charming gift for that special someone. That age old fantasy, "...if I won the lottery..." I would buy pretty much everything in this attractive, bright, wholly original store. There's more than enough Adjectives to go around.

I would not recommend this store at all unless you want to waste your money and time. I purchased a…read morehat from the store for $80 today, described as a vintage item. However, I found the exact same hat (same brand, size, and model) on the official website being sold for $52. This is the regular retail price, not a discounted sale price (photos below). Besides, I bought another thing which the owner didn't know about the price and charged me expensive.

I could never say enough great things about Echoes of Retro. This is by far my favorite place to…read moreshop for furniture and home goods. Everything is curated by the couple that owns the shop, Wendy and Marvin, and they are constantly bringing in new stuff. Every trip is like visiting a new, but still super awesome, store. BUT, I do have to say one thing....unfortunately, you cannot take home the shop's lovely and amazing "employee," Carol. She is Marvin's mother, and she is an angel on earth. Really, she is. I visit this store about once every 4 months and she always remembers me; now, we just walk around and chat about all the amazing history and curiosities. I should also say that this place's prices are reasonable. There is another retro furniture store in Orlando, and EoR's prices are nowhere near theirs. They also have vintage clothing, custom hats, and lots of art and decor. Ok, I'll stop. I could go on forever. I'll attach just a few photos of things I have purchased, considering half my home was furnished at Echoes of Retro.

4 Stars for a great cause to support with your donations and some great finds!…read more When I was looking for an ethical organization where I could donate items I don't use anymore, I was so thrilled to find Out of the Closet. According to their website, Out of the Closet Thrift Store (OTC) was founded in 1990 to help raise funds and awareness for AIDS Healthcare Foundation. When you shop or donate at Out of the Closet, 96 cents of every dollar made goes to AIDS Healthcare Foundation's HIV prevention and treatment services. Dropping donations off is very easy- you pull up just past the front retail door to another closed exterior door which has a sign to ring a bell for assistance. From there someone comes out to receive the donations. As a thrift shop, I've been able to find a great furniture piece as well as a few tops. They have lots of clothes and some home goods, depending on the week. With that said, it's not the best thrift store in terms of inventory and pricing, but you know you're supporting a good cause and there are some hidden gems. I'll keep donating here and perusing for some fun thrift finds!
