I would not agree with other comments complaining about service quality in the store. It was professional and very nice based on our experience today with Sasha. Products are high end and for the most part justify the price. What is wrong is the follow up with the delivery department who does not confirm the mandatory dates agreed when signing the order, and simply decides to change them, even though we explained that we will be abroad and unable to receive the 10K order after a mandatory given date. First time in and immediately created and asked if we need any help. Left alone to walk around and not pushed. The items they have are beautiful and HIGH end. The prices reflect that as well. I find the color palette very limited. It seams that white, Grey and brown are the majority of the items. Still some very nice items for your home. read more

It is not often that I leave a review, but when I do it is typically customer service related that is 2-3 standard deviations from the expected norm - in either direction. Of note, I have a new Yelp account as my email changed since moving to Florida (so this is only my second review from this account).This afternoon I visited the RH in Winter Park - located 1/2 mile from my highly priced-per-square foot new construction home. I went with the specific intent to view their options for heavy Belgium Linen drapery fabric for custom drapes for a primary bedroom multi-window wall that is substantial in length and will be on a motorized track. I had some general measurements to consider. My boyfriend and I were greeted upon entry. This was a plus given that several past reviewers provided feedback on being ignored, especially if causally dressed. We certainly fit that category. Of importance in my opinion, we are African American. I mention this given my lived experiences as a woman of color and many experiences with consumer racial profiling. The greeter, who did not introduce herself but was pleasant enough, escorted us to the back of the store where the drapery was located. She pointed out several linen options, including Belgium linens, but claimed that the store did not have swatches of the material, nor could she provide any estimates of cost until someone came to my home to measure. After questioning this, particularly given the price point, she said "that would be about $5,000". I asked her how she knew that number and she responded "based on my years as a designer". When I pressed the swatch issue, she then replied "we may have a swatch for the ivory color". Minutes later she brought 8 separate swatches with a variety of colors for different fabrics and then walked away. At this point, another person (who I assumed to be a manager or more experienced person) came back with her to explain that the swatch options are limited and they have been unable to obtain more perhaps based on a change at the corporate level. This second person (who I later found out was the design assistant Tiffany) then asked for the sizing I thought I would need and the initial person (who I later found out was an actual store designer named Gabby) plugged in my dimensions and the computer spit out a price just over $3,000. I then compared the swatches provided with the actual drapes that were displayed. The designed tried to convince me that the one swatch that clearly did not match the Belgium Linen was actually correct. It was the design assistant who agreed with me that they were not the same and subsequently removed the wrong label on the hanging drapery. At this point, it was clearly time for me to leave. I had experienced enough micro-aggressions for one afternoon. Gabby, as someone who has unfortunately experienced bias in shopping at high priced stores, please don't underestimate the spending power of someone based on their appearance. Certainly don't misrepresent facts about the inability to provide swatches (even if to a limited degree) or take the time to look something up. Customers should not have to prove they can afford to shop at RH, or any store for that matter. Not only were you dismissive, you insulted my intelligence. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star because I found Tiffany to be knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and helpful. I may have added another star to bring things up to 3 had Gabby apologized for providing false information about swatches, an erroneous pricing quote "based on her years as a designer", and her initial unwillingness to provide pricing estimates. I chose to be very detailed in this review because in order to improve your services - which based on other reviews should be an enhanced focus for your WP store- you need to know where you fell short. We were recently at the store in Winter Park, Florida. They have a lot of options and a lot of high-quality furniture. Lauren assisted us and was extremely helpful, informative, and listened to try to understand what could be best incorporated in our home. A really nice experience. Yes, the furniture in Restoration Hardware is not inexpensive. However, sign up as a member for $100 for the year and you will get 25% off all items. This furniture store doesn't have all the gimmicks that the other ones have for Labor Day, Memorial Day and July 4th. sales. So, first off I just want to say that we were assisted from the minute we walked in. We felt very welcome at RH in Winter Park. We had the pleasure of working with Audrey who was amazing! We purchased our living room set in the midst of redoing our entire living and kitchen area so color and fabric selections needed some extra thought. She really helped facilitate a smooth buying experience and helped us nail down the perfect pieces, sizes, colors, and materials for our space and lifestyle. The pieces arrived as expected and are gorgeous. They really helped create a serene space that we love so much and that fits wonderfully with the new color scheme of our kitchen. Can I please move in? Pretty please? I'm in love with Restoration Hardware. Seriously. There's nothing in that store I would not love to own. *blissful sigh* RH is one of the few stores in Winter Park I have to stop in during every visit. Maybe it's the super comfy chairs/sofas or just the industrial glamour style of the decor, but it gets me every time. And I love perusing the tables with the retro toys and nifty gadgets; they're ideal as gifts for friends and family. There's something for everyone and if I ever need to furnish anything, RH is my first stop. EDIT: Knick-knack tables are not there year round, unfortunately. read more

You can find that same $163. towel bar for $40 at a big box store... if not the same one, at least the same look! If only I had a 50 Grand to decorate! First time to a Restoration Hardware store - in love with their designs! The furniture's style comes from the stately design paired with neutral/calm materials. We're looking for a duvet cover - I was hoping to see a few of their more affordable options which I found online - however, only a two were on display. The sales associates were relaxed. This provided a comfortable exploring experience for me and my husband. Since my decorating budget isn't anywhere near 50 grand I'll settle for exploratory shopping for inspiration!! read more

Winter Park Restoration Hardware definitely helped me furnish my home in Key West with a breathtaking crystal chandelier, dining table, 9 foot couch, swivel chairs, coffee table, server, bar stools, rug and coral decor pieces. Plus they delivered!!!!!!!!!!! Not many furniture stores deliver to Key West. So I was very surprised to hear negative commentary about RH in WP. I actually thought people were confused and reviewing Pottery Barn which is sort of almost across the street and THEY are the worst and guilty of all the negative things stated in reviews here for RH. I even had a designer there (who I had to beg to help me) insist on writing the order (to take sales credit for all the items I'd walked into the store with from shopping online). I wanted to see an item on my list in person. Because she made a big deal about showing me the rug in the back, I let her take credit and write up the entire sale. Afterwards when she didn't do any follow up or fix issues with items or incorrect delivered items I complained to PB corporate. The only issue I had with RH was 2 missing throw pillows off the swivel chairs. RH rushed to fix that issue. read more

I've shopped at Restoration Hardware stores all over the country and I found this location to be the coldest and least welcoming location to date. The staff were very standoffish and though I was offered information on a product, it felt like it was a chore to the sales person. I tried purchasing a room scent item and was made to feel like I was bothersome and an imposition. The funny thing is that my home is filled with items from RH purchased over the years. It's a shame that this will be some people's introduction to what use to be one of countries premier, upscale home decor stores. read more

The staff here is extremely rude and unprofessional. Every time I've walked into this store, no one greets me or even tries to help. I was going to furnish my whole condo with restoration hardware furniture ($50+k). The staff thinks they are better than everyone else... So I'm with another high end furniture manufacturer. I had some hesitation working with Restoration Hardware due to things you may read online but it was definitely unfounded. Shaun at the Winter Park location was a great help to work with and we picked out great pieces. I spent around 20grand with them in the course of 2 months. I happily found that my custom ordered pieces (aluminum cladded offerings by Timothy Oulton in slate leather) came a month a head of schedule which was essentially a 2 month turn around time. I'd consider that quite fast considering it was a unique leather option and considering where it came from (overseas). Shaun did let me know when the product was finished and when it came time for truck delivery Restoration Hardware was ontime/early everytime so far. A+ to Restoration Hardware Winter Park. read more

The clamor that ensued when Restoration Hardware finally opened in Orlando, here in Winter Park, was startling. You would think these folks had never been able to pick out new doorknobs. Something about most Restoration Hardwares always strikes me as claustrophobic and this one is doubly so--it feels like the space was supposed to be something else originally. Better than other choices in Orlando for details, accents and some accessories, but not exactly creative or unique. I do like being able to find retro products I remember from my days as a kid. read more

Not very impressed with the line-up the this particular store showcases and most of the staff prefers to talk to each other rather than with customers. RH has plenty of top notch, quality items but the customer service in this store leaves much to be desired. My wife and I live in WP and we stop in RH anytime we're looking for a new piece of furniture or for ideas (redoing outdoor space, bedroom, etc). We're in the process of replacing our dining room table and chairs and, until today, we planned on buying everything at RH. Well...the sales assistant was aloof, not very engaged in her job and added absolutely zero value to the process. In fact, she made it more confusing. We were better off looking online for ourselves. The topper came when we were left to look at a chair in their closet storeroom because it was the only one that they had that could give us an idea of what we thought we were going to order, and some random store employee (possibly a mgr) barged in and rudely asked us what we we doing there. We had the door open and our 7 year old with us while we were looking at a chair. What the heck did it look like we were doing??? It's not that he asked, it's how he asked. It was extremely confrontational. So much so, that I choose to leave. At any rate, on the way out my wife asked what difference it made to order in the store versus online and the assistant replied that we'd get "her service" if we ordered through the store. Okay...roger that. Bottom line, I walked in there ready to spend $3500 and I walked away without spending anything. Save your time and order online from home. BEWARE OF THIS STORE. I ordered $5K of cast aluminum furniture that should have lasted a lifetime. After one year on a covered porch, the finish was chipping off every piece. Restoration Hardware agreed to replace furniture after I gave them my credit card number (???). One piece of furniture was never replaced and I was charged for shipping... even after RH agreed (in writing) to replace furniture and refund shipping charges. I had to report my credit card stolen to prevent these thieves from using it again. My only recourse is the Better Business Bureau. Now that is awesome customer service! read more

I went to RH to look at a few pieces of furniture for purchase. What I wanted was not on the floor, and the salesperson (seemed new) was not very well informed as to sizes, options, etc. If I wanted to find information on an iPad, I would have stayed home and done it myself. Corporate-wise, I am totally disappointed with this company. I managed to get one piece that I ordered, but the quality (manufactured overseas) did not match the price. I called customer service to get exact dimensions of the piece, and was given wrong information, so after removing baseboards to get the hutch to fit the space, I now have to nail them back in place and touch up paint, all unnecessary if RH had proper information available to customers, including correct product dimensions. Getting wood samples for $7000 worth of furniture was excruciatingly difficult. The store did not have all samples in stock, and some wood color options were not even available from corporate. Why offer colors that customers are not even able to see before they order? Second piece I ordered came to the local shipper damaged, so they didn't deliver. I called RH, and after many phone calls, I was assured the media console would be shipped from a warehouse elsewhere in the US. Over a month later, after hearing nothing from RH, I reached out and was told that the console was not available. Horrible customer service. Although I love the RH style, I advise you shop elsewhere. The aggravation and quality are not worth the price. read more
