Alaina does it all in there, is kind and empathetic. There was another young lady there too. She was kind also. I only dealt with Alaina. Dr. Corondan is very dedicated and available to his patients morning, noon and night. Office is clean. Atmosphere is comfortable. Dr. Corondan very intelligent, thorough and truly cares about his patients. But do not go see this doctor because I'll have to wait longer lol just kidding ;)

We are not from the area,…read moreand the appointment was several hours from the completion of the appointment with the physician at U o M hospital. We arrived over an hour early. To our surprise, after registering at the front desk, I was taken back almost immediately! Everyone with whom I interacted with were efficient, positive in their demeanor, friendly and interested in serving their fellow man. SO NICE!! I was finished and we were on our drive back across the State by the time of my original appointment!! The RESULTS of the test arrived back within approximately an HOUR!! UNBELIEVABLE and SOOO APPRECIATED!!!!! In having a phone appointment this week with the doctor, he enthusiastically expressed his surprise and appreciation for receiving results so quickly. It was MARVELOUS! From a worker perspective, you may feel you are just 'doing your job', but from a patient and doctor perspective, getting that needed information so quickly is HUGE!! Cannot express enough my gratitude!! Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you to each and everyone of you!!!

These doctors suddenly think that they are Lawyers, even tho they accept your insurance, they are…read moregoing to "decide if they will take your case". Give me a break! I called this office to get Autoimmune Disease testing, I already have one, but my hearing capacity is getting worse, and I have 15 new symptoms, almost ending up in the hospital. Call them, says "accepting new patients". I have to give all of my own personal info. about what is wrong with me to the secretary who answers the phone. What? Isn't this against HIPAA? So right away, she is humming and hawing, "oh we're so busy, he may not see you for 2 or 3 months". Great. I'm sick NOW, but thanks for absolutely not being concerned. Give her all of my symptoms, not super comfortable having to do that, now he's going to decide to "take my case or not". I ask for her to call me back, she assures me that they will, quadruple check, Yes we will let you know for sure. Well you guessed it, never heard from them. Very RUDE and inconsiderate. I call, leave a message, is he "taking my case" or not? Half a day goes by, a lady, sounded like a different lady, calls and leaves me a VM. She says that he's really busy and that he "can't afford" to accept more Medicare patients at this time, that Medicare doesn't pay him enough money, and I could call back in 4-6 months to see if he is accepting Medicare. What? I found this guy on the Medicare site! What a total jerk. Oh, and he's 72 himself, what insurance coverage do you think he is using??? Probably Medicare. So thanks useless Dr. Morton, who advertises "accepting new patients" and that you take full payment for Medicare. Because you want to buy a nicer car, or play more rounds of golf, or buy expensive new shoes, patients like me get to suffer, lose something like our hearing, live in pain, be in a fog all of the time, more pain, not be able to walk, drive or eat. But that's OK, because you and your god-like power get to decide whether to "take my case". Why did you even become a doctor? The medical community in this area is horrible, most of Michigan is horrible. Dr. Morton is horrible. Hope he has to go see a dr. for something serious and they refuse to "take his case" when he really needs it.

As an engineer I tend to ask tougher and more detailed questions than many and I came away impressed with his knowledge base. He's very well rounded beyond just rheumatology. He also has a lot of experience as he's been practicing a long time.

I have been a patient here during two pretty difficult (physically and emotionally) medical situations. Dr. Matoian and Melissa are truly wonderful health providers who want to provide a correct diagnosis, share with you any information you need, listen to your concerns, and answer your questions. They are so, so patient when I ask a million questions as my academic brain is bound to do, and they can break down medical jargon to the simplest of terms and draw diagrams to help you understand exactly what is going on. The bedside manner provided by these two is extraordinary. I am totally confident that I am in good hands with this team. On top of the wonderful providers, the other people in the office are phenomenal. The medical assistant I've seen every time, Vanessa, puts a smile on my face even during the most difficult times. Glenna, the nurse available by phone, is wonderful and quick to return phone calls. Shelly and the rest of the administrative staff are friendly and responsive and never grumpy if I ask difficult questions about scheduling. I have never been so pleased with a physician's office in my life! Dr. Matoian is on staff at Beaumont and works in partnership with six other doctors -- two of which I have spoken with on the phone during nights and weekends, and they were quick to call back and very helpful. Melissa has done work in high-risk pregnancy, too. If I didn't convince you that this is the greatest OB/GYN office of all time, you must have a phenomenal doctor already. I'd ask you to share who it is, but no thanks, I'm convinced mine is the best.

When our previous pediatrician moved out of the country, we were immediately sent over to Dr Howidi…read morebecause of the medical fragility of our daughter. Although we understand the reasons why our doctor moved away and then left us having to build a new relationship with Dr Howidi. It's something that isn't always welcome in a life that is busy with a child who has high medical needs. We transferred both our daughters over. The transition was easy. We had an appointment, booked to initially meet and go over the needs in our family with both kids. Dr Howidi is very friendly, very calm, listens well, and is very warm. We found his staff to be very thorough, quick and very friendly. It was recommended to meet in three more months to follow up and check in again. We had some bumps along the road with some medical issues arising, and Dr Howidi was very thorough before making recommendations. Of course he had to learn, go over the history and make a decision before he can make a recommendation. I appreciated his processes. As time has passed, and new diagnosis has become known about our daughter. He has been wonderful with making referrals on his own or ones I come to him requesting for. Dr Howidi isn't someone that we consult for answers we work together as a team. A month ago through networking and investing time on my own I have come across a different specialty we haven't consulted with an outstanding issue we are having. I requested him to send us to an infectious disease specialist, and he wasn't sure. He wasn't convinced. But he did it anyways at my request. That's a team. Dr Howidi is far from a doctor who is inflexible. He understands that parents know their kids best. He may not have said this but making the referral to the infectious disease specialist showed me that. He trusts my research, experience, history, and time together with my daughter, to know that making that referral when he didn't quite agree Was still worth that effort. This week my neurotypical daughter struggled very difficulty with a relentless unknown terrible virus. We did not have any booked appointments with him, but seen him twice in a walk-in clinic type setting at the very beginning of the day. Urgent and acute illnesses within a child can be seen in his office with no appointment. We were dealt with very swiftly and very thoroughly. I really can't thank him enough for all that he has, and continues to do for our children and our community. What's his office busy? Of course! Was it bursting at the seams with children and parents coming in for booked appointments and also acutely sick children for a walk in? Of course! It's obvious that we need more pediatricians in the area. This is not a fault of Dr Howidi or his staff. We are thankful, grateful and appreciative of Dr Howidi and his staff.
