Because of the hours, shorter wait times, and comfortability i have had here, i even switched dr shaw to my primary doctor! I could never get into see my actual doctor when i needed.. never ! It was always someone different who didn't know me... the couple of doctors here already know more about me and i can tell they care ..plus they actually listen to what you are saying about YOUR BODY. Just go if you have a problem, you wont regret it. The only downfall is having to fill out a form each time before being seen even after they know my entire family at this point and they have all our information but maybe thats just my pet peeve. it does seem like the receptionists have a high turnover rate and sometimes they don't exactly know what to do, but there is always someone there to help and figure whatever it is (typically insurance issues)..

Very knowledgeable staff…read more I can tell that since they may have a lot of down time, it's easy to walk into your assigned room, and then overhear staff conversations from other rooms, but nothing unprofessional. I read another review on here stating a different experience than I had concerning wait time; my wait time was almost nonexistent. I signed my paperwork and got called back probably 5 minutes after (yes I was the only one in the lobby). I recommend them! Very clean and fast.

When the bill came, the prices were way higher than any other urgent care I have been to. On top of that, even though they have 2 different locations on Warren Ave only one is "in network" with my insurance and apparently I chose the wrong one. I have good insurance from a major national company through work and it's rare to find someplace that is not in network. I guess the statement on their website "We accept most health care Insurance Plans" is meaningless.

It seems like they went under new management or got rid of a few doctors because I had left here in tears under Dr. Feemster and another MD a year or so ago and swore I would never come back. But, a terrible sinus infection brought me in and I found out that they had gotten rid of the MD's that were not helpful, did a overhaul of the building, put in a nice faux fireplace, and keep the rooms neat and clean. They have an x-ray machine which is not that common at the urgent cares and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. The staff took really good care of me and even referred me to a podiatrist when one was needed. There is only one sticking point that needs to be addressed- the behind the counter customer service. One time I went in with an asthma attack and they had glade plug ins in the outlets. I asked them to take them out because of respiratory issues and they refused because they said 'a lot of diapers are changed in here' and that they are sure I'd rather smell the air freshener. As a medical facility, they need to be re-educated on respiratory irritants including air fresheners, strong smells, etc. and how that can exacerbate asthmatic issues and allergic reactions. Also, it would be nice to see them smile once in a while behind the receptionist desk. I've had the clip board handed to me without a hello or acknowledgement on more than one occasion. It's really disconcerting to have a full conversation with a person without them making eye contact with you for the duration of the interaction. All in all, pretty decent place. The main thing is that they give accurate diagnosis and communicate the results to my PCP which is what should really matter.
