There is another doctor there, Dr Jennifer Burlingame so I made appointments for my son and myself. ( I cannot find any reviews on her as of this date) My sons first appointment was made for 3:00 but the day beforehand I was called and they moved his appointment to 3:40. When we arrived at 3:30 we were told that we had missed his appointment and since the office is a "very busy" one that he could not be seen. I told her how we had been called and told the time for the appointment had been changed and for her to just forget it and to also cancel the appointment I had for the following week. She said then that he could be seen. So we sat and waited.. and waited. We waited 25 minutes in outside waiting room and then another 35 minutes in the back. It was over an hour to see the doctor. I thought it would be better for my appointment. I got there just before 2:00 for my 2:20 appointment. The outside doors are locked from 1:00 until 2:00 for lunch. I thought.. wonderful... since I was first inside and had an appointment just after lunch. surely my wait would be minimum. There was only one other patient waiting who came in after I did. The other patient was called back first and then I was called after. At 2:40 my son texted to see what the hold up was. The doctor showed up just after 3:00. Visit with doctor was about 10 minutes. Third trip was better with only about 20 minutes of a wait for my son, it was a just after lunch appointment as well. The doctor seems very nice but my first rating will be in the middle and is most influenced at this time by the long waits. As we have more interactions with the doctor I will edit/update my review.

Dr. Fessler wanted to do surgery at a hospital not affiliated with the network (DMC) that I am through. Dr. Fessler saw me in his office for over 5 years as a DMC doctor but refused to follow his contract with HAP (my insurance) and go to a DMC hospital to perform surgery. When I called HAP, they said Dr. Fessler was in fact, a DMC doctor and is required to go to a DMC hospital if he takes DMC patients in his office. I talked with Dr. Fessler's nurse and told her what HAP had said. I got a call the following day from his nurse saying "Dr. Fessler is no longer a DMC doctor and doesn't go to DMC hospitals!" I called HAP and they said that wasn't true, he was still a DMC doctor. Obviously, he had his nurse LIE to me to get rid of me! I have filed a grievance with HAP and feel that what Dr. Fessler did is unethical and illegal. Why would I establish a long term relationship with a doctor that refuses to go to a hospital my insurance says I have to go to? If I had been told that he didn't go to DMC hospitals for surgery, I would have never have gone to him :( Now I'm starting all over with a new Neurosurgeon after 5+ years with Dr. Fessler. I refuse to have surgery with just anyone, so it will be a while and I'm in a lot of pain.

I had developed a severe infection which is why the breast kept oozing and breaking open. it took 7 surgeries to somewhat correct the damage she did! and not one phone call to me after the many times I called!

The doctors themselves and Karen are nice but the bookkeeper and whoever does their scheduling are a joke. The general attitude about their overbooking is "oh well we are working on it". No consideration for the patient. You are just $$ to them. They lost two of us because of their practices treatment. Will NOT go back.

I had an abnormal exam result and had to schedule an appointment for a procedure to determine if I have any precancerous or cancerous cells. When the doctor called me for this, she tried twice to transfer me to the desk and no one answered for 20 minutes. I just hung up. Then she called me back and tried again. No answer. She called me again and told me that someone would call me, and then I had to go to class so I forgot about it. I happened to have an appointment for something else a week or two later in between and she was shocked when I told her that I was never contacted to make that appointment, so I made it while checking out. So I did that, and went to the appointment, only to have a receptionist chuckle because she said I'd just had the same exam last month. As if I could forget that that quick. Then a different receptionist called me up and told me that they had put in the wrong insurance codes when they made this appointment, and so they couldn't see me for it, and they didn't have the equipment or time to do the procedure so we'd have to reschedule for 2 weeks. To check if I have cancer or precancerous cells. Which I might. We're going on 2 months ago in discovering this possibility. AND she discussed the procedure by name at the window, with other patients in line right behind me When I called my sister for an earlier ride than expected (my car is in the shop so I had to get dropped off) and told her they had to reschedule because it was scheduled wrong, this receptionist slammed the glass door closed (I was being completely calm). This in addition to them always trying to schedule me on a Tuesday or Thursday, seconds after I tell them that those days aren't good for me, and a 5 day stint of them giving me the runaround to get an important prescription refilled. Like I said, the doctor is amazing. Her receptionists are absolute garbage.

I have a Google review up that goes into more detail and was answered by an AI bot. AI has done a better job answering my questions clearly and with a nice bedside manner. I don't like AI replacing human jobs, but in this case, it's recommended. I'd give zero stas but that wouldn't be fair to the office staff.

My Mother was scheduled for surgery on her kidney which was unfortunately was cancerous. I, her daughter Susan, communicated with him long distance due to the fact I live in another State. He explained her diagnosis and the procedure they would undertake to save her kidney. I was hopeful that they could remove the cancer without removing her kidney. I flew in a few days before her scheduled surgery just to ascertain her state of mind...she was in good spirits and didn't seem bothered or apprehensive, which calmed my nerves greatly. The surgery was delayed due a prior procedure by Dr. Wynberg. The wait was long, but she made it thru. Praise God!! Regrettably, they couldn't save the kidney because it was ravaged with cancer and only had 20% usage remaining. God used Dr. Wynberg's hands, expertise and skill to remove the infected kidney and made sure there were no signs of spreading. After the surgery, Dr. Wynberg came in and said Mom was fine, she made it through just fine but they had to remove the kidney. I was thankful and grateful Mom made it thru. She was moved to recovery then onto her room where she spent 7 days in the hospital. The medical team including Dr. Wynberg came to see her often and shared nuggets of wisdom regarding her healthcare going forward. In addition, the nursing staff at Sinai Grace on W. Outer Drive were outstanding, patient, kind and competent. When I would leave the hospital, they assured me she would be taken care of and she was. I recommend Dr. Wynberg for any medical procedure you may find yourself in need of. He's competent, skilled and highly intelligent. **Special shout out to the male nurse from Ghana who took exemplary care of Mom during his evening shift from 6pm-6am.
