I got their bbq burger and it was decent because it had great caramelized onions on it and some good bacon. My gf's bun for her burger was burnt and the fries were a copy from five guys,just not as good. The service was decent because it was made to order but my biggest pet peeve was that the cook didn't wash his hands after drinking his Red Bull that was on the counter and after helping customers at the register. Quick service for a to go order when I walked in - the guy at the counter was very friendly and efficient! We hadn't been here before but I definitely want to be back to try a burger! This time we just got wings and mac & cheese bites. We got six buffalo wings and six garlic parmesan wings. They were delicious! A coworker was raving about this place today at work. It definitely lived up to the hype. The place has a cool feel to it. A simple menu but good variety. I love the unique sodas made with real sugar. I had the whiskey bbq burger and OMG soooo good. It was sloppy but in a good burger kind is way you want to have. It was full of flavor that made me just wanting more. Now I'm not a fries fan, especially the fresh cut kind. I know many people love this style and they do it well. It's been several months since the last time we had food from here and we were in the mood so we ordered a couple of burgers to go. I ordered the classic burger with the toppings I like but I had to forgo the french fries as I'm not allowed to have them anymore. It's a sad time but I'm a lot healthier. Well the burger was very tasty it was a little greasier than I'm used to. I still enjoyed the whole thing. My kid ordered the Twitty which has caramelized pineapple, bacon, American cheese and mayo on it. This is their favorite offering there and they only meant to eat half of it but finish the entire thing along with all the french fries. The burgers from here are really good. We've been lucky that we've never had any problems from here and our orders are always made correctly. If you just want a really good burger this is a great place to go. I can definitely recommend the fries even though I can't have them anymore. I'm also a fan of their spicy fried cauliflower which has a good spice and flavor to it. The 50s diner, Johnny Rocket's was a plus alongside these awesome burgers. I had the "Slider Flight," which consisted of a Classic, Twitty and Bourbon burger. It is the best way for get to try any selection of three. But have caution, they are so good, you may also buy a larger sized burger after trying the sliders. The firecrackers were goood though, filled with gooey cheese and a jalapeño fried in a egg roll. Look no further for the best, gourmet burgers! Time and time again Adler's has my family coming in on long weekends and ordering to our hearts content. The barbecue burgers are rich and decadent - Smokey and the perfect pinch of sweetness. The fries are golden yellow and delicious. The wings come in a variety of flavors, be sure to try the Korean BBQ version Gochujang - which is slightly spicy, with a residual heat and a nice BBQ patented sweetness. The Adlers staff is also wonderful as well. So kind and understanding. When I was in highschool a couple years back, I had been trying to plan for an in school event where we'd have food trucks gathered around campus. When I brought this up to the general manager of this location - who's name I cannot remember for the life of me- offered me his card and said to definitely inquire with my school and let him know the details. The staff that handles cooking remembers faces and names - there's a gentleman in there with dyed blonde-ish brownish locs who I have a running joke of telling him "I'm from the South, but not that part of the South" whenever he offers me ranch or bleu cheese dressing for my wings. Hubby and I opted to add just a touch of salt to ours, but teen said hers was perfection. My hands down favorite was the Twitty with a slice of carmelized pineapple. Love pineapple on a burger! The Bourbon BBQ was my hubby's favorite with carmelized whiskey onions. Teen loved her Italian burger. Fries were plentiful and served nice and hot. There were plenty and next time we'll opt to share an order or two, but not three. The selection of beverages is unique and varied. Loved the lemonade and tea combo I created. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area (or even if you have to drive a bit!). Staff was super friendly and helpful with suggestions and information. Pretty much met expectations I had going in with what I could gather from reviews and pictures. The burger is in the vein of a smash burger (as in the restaurant more than the style, though they are smashed just not thin). Toppings and bun were good & the fries were decent and along the lines of 5 Guys style, minus Cajun seasoning. We really enjoyed the variety of natural sugar sodas and had fun mixing flavors. Again, the burger was right in line with the flavor profile you'd expect from a smash style griddle burger. It would fall inline somewhere in the middle of the 5-6 grouping of Smashburger, Culver's, Shake Shack, In-n-Out, & 5 Guys. Our place (Davenport) only had one guy taking orders and cooking, he nailed it. Even the black eye didn't slow him down. The wings were meaty and cooked well too. The mango habanero sauce didn't meet my expectations, so I might try some other sauces on any return visits. And yes, there will be return visits. read more

I can't recall much in the way of decoration, but this is the kind of place that doesn't really need it. The restaurant had a very laid back vibe, and they were playing reggae over the sound system. And it was clean. The employees were friendly, without being overly friendly. (Also, they all look effortlessly cool.) There were just three of them, and they sort of multi-task, so the guy who took my order also made my burger. That being said, I asked what he recommended and he said his favorite was the Bourbon BBQ, so I went with that. He didn't ask me what temperature I wanted the beef to be cooked at, so I asked him and he said they typically cook all the burgers about the same (medium). As someone who likes my beef reeeeaaallly bloody, I asked if they could do rare and he said sure. I also ordered a side of their hand-cut french fries. OKAY. SO. My burger was not cooked rare, but DAMN. It was delicious. So juicy and flavorful, and the Bourbon BBQ was amazing. Sometimes BBQ sauces can overwhelm or drown out the other flavors in a burger, but this was the perfect kind of sauce--just enough to let you know it's there, but also enjoy those whiskey onions. Bun was soft, cheese was melty...I have no complaints whatsoever. I was so happy with the burger that when the cook came over to ask if it was cooked correctly, I just said "yes." Honestly, why mess with what he's obviously doing right? The fries were also amazing. Crispy edges with just a little softness on the inside, and perfectly salted. I ate everything on my damn plate. I came with my cousins, one who ordered a burger (and was also very pleased) and the other who ordered a plate of Buffalo wings. I got to taste the wings. They were good, but with Buffalo wings you either just get it right or you don't (they got them right), so there's nothing special to talk about there. They don't come with celery or carrot sticks. I didn't get anything to drink, even though my combo came with a drink, but they have a fancy soda machine with some unique flavors, as well as some teas and lemonade (it's carbonated, which is the only reason why I passed on it). I'm not from this area, so we definitely relied on yelp reviews before heading over here. First impression of this place was a bit confusing not welcoming at all what so ever. There was 1 menu located above the ordering counter and the guy was not friendly at all or helpful. We ended up ordering 2 burgers ( Italian Burger & Tweety Burger) I wanted some chicken wings - I didn't see any on the menu, so I asked the guy if they severed chicken wings based on the pictures I had seen on yelp. His reply was " I don't know how many we have left" well that definitely wasn't the answer that I was looking for. It was just beyond awkward- it's simple either you have or you don't. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our meals. The burgers are cooked 1 temperature and it looked over cooked and dry. The bun was bigger than the patty. I'm not usually a burger eater, but I've had my fair share of tasty and well put together burgers and unfortunately, this burger did not make the cut what so ever. Kids burgers were perfectly kid-sized. My daughter had the fried Mac and cheese, and she enjoyed it. We also ordered the wings. Very good, not sure if they double fry, but the crispness of the exterior was perfect. Soda fountain selection includes Fountainhead natural cane sugar soda (including Root Beer and Black Cherry) and they also have some nice iced teas. All and all this is a hidden gem. I found Adler's on Yelp and based on the reviews and pics, I knew this place wouldn't disappoint. When you walk in, you're immediately greeted and although it's a pretty simple menu of not only a variety of burgers, but mouth-watering small bites like fresh cut fries, fried Mac-n-cheese bites, spicy fried cauliflower, jalapeño fire crackers & fried cheese pickles which are both wrapped & fried in an egg roll. The food is cooked to order and trust me, it's well worth the wait (which isn't too long honestly). I had a small hiccup with one of the burgers for my table, which was quickly remedied by the most pleasant staff. Not only are the burgers good, they're GREAT. My sign of a great burger is the seasoning and noticeable sear and this was definitely a plus in my book. Aside from being served with fresh toppings and the softest brioche buns, the accompanying fresh cut fries were THE BEST fries I've had in awhile and I've had quite the share of fries as they're my weakness lol. I had to order another order of fries (which the staff comped unexpectedly) and I would have gladly paid for them because they're just that good. They are cut in a mix between standard & thick width and they were the perfect size. I'm still thinking about them even as I write this! We even chatted awhile with the staff about traveling, where we're from, etc, which was also nice. It was the most pleasurable dining experience I've had in awhile and if I'm even remotely close the area again, this is the first spot I'm heading to.
