I requested a refill before it ran out, but it would run out on a friday night (coldest of the season so far getting down to 11 degrees here). I would reach them Monday and be told they would be filling Tuesday. Excellent. Asked if someone could come by to light the pilot. They "requested" a service call and said I would have someone call to schedule. Did not happen. Day two, called go the same advice about the needed pilot lighting. Day three, I was told that they don't do such things (same number, far as I could tell, same service person) and suggested I call a plumbing and heating company. An extra 48 hours with no propane (no heat, stove, or hot water while struggling with my husband dying in the ICU) because these asshats said they would do it, said it again, then said they never could. Got a real tech from TLC in that afternoon to fix the problem. Funnier still, weeks later, I get a call from one of their techs wondering if I still need help relighting my pilots. I told him what happened and he was horrified and said he was calling in to try to get me a discount on my last $1000 load. Never heard a thing since. SHOCKING!!! Ya'll are AWFUL not because mistakes were made (repeatedly),, but because YOU KNOW IT and DON'T CARE!!!!! Useless!!

No show on either inspection appointment. I waited another week to see if anything was going to initiate on SP's end and nothing did. I called and told them to remove me from their client system. I am a Suburban Propane customer at my house in CA for years now, and they are the absolute best. I cannot imagine why they are so inept and uncaring here in Santa Fe.

Our refrigerator was delivered damaged more than a month ago. The following week, it took over two hours just to reach someone and arrange a replacement. We selected a different, less-expensive model, but the associate never confirmed the correct product and apparently never completed the replacement order or delivery request. My wife and I then spent another two hours trying to reach someone. We finally connected with a call-center representative who was extremely helpful, but all he could do was leave notes asking the local store to correct the problem. The correct refrigerator was eventually ordered and scheduled for delivery--but nobody informed me. I received no phone call, text, or email, despite being a Lowe's Plus member. I learned about the Tuesday delivery only after calling during my lunch break and driving to the store. I normally schedule deliveries on weekends because of work, but I was told I would have to take time off because Lowe's scheduled it for a weekday without consulting me. I spoke with manager Lester Close, explained everything Lowe's had put us through, and asked him to call after the refrigerator was delivered so we could discuss an appropriate resolution. He assured me he would call the following day. The refrigerator was delivered last Tuesday, and that call never came. I have now spent another week trying to reach him, including more than two additional hours on the phone. I have been hung up on multiple times and have received no meaningful assistance from the local store. To make matters worse, I purchased an extended warranty for the original refrigerator. I was still charged for that warranty even though I did not receive one for the replacement refrigerator. This has involved a damaged appliance, multiple ordering failures, an unannounced weekday delivery, hours upon hours on hold, repeated disconnections, an unfulfilled promise from management, and an unresolved warranty charge. The call-center representative was the only person who made a genuine effort to help. Lowe's needs to contact me, correct the warranty issue, and provide appropriate compensation for the extensive time, inconvenience, and missed work its failures have caused. Being a Lowe's Plus member clearly did not result in better communication or service. I would strongly caution others against purchasing a major appliance from this location.

I went into the Santa Anna Big R (near Bernallio) to buy a special dog food. The Wholesome foods sensitive stomach is the best food for my Great Dane & German Shepard. Only one the Shepard can keep down. I was truly excited to see Big R carries it & it was on sale, at a great price. I went into store as they opened hopefully to buy the dog food only to find they didn't have it. Here is where the Santa Fe BIG R stepped up to make our day. I spoke with manager "Nathan" who told me he had 5 bags & would transfer them to the store near me in Bernallio. He could have them there this afternoon for me to pickup tomorrow morning. Saving me a trip to Santa Fe, stocking me up for weeks to come, & allowing me to get the bags at the sale price. Nathan's customer service is the reason I will continue to shop Big R.

And my experience with them explains why. So I bought a brand new Husqvarna chainsaw (I received awful service from Husqvarna too and would not recommend their products. If something goes wrong they'll leave you high and dry and stuck dealing with a place like Big R) from Lowe's and it did not run correctly. Lowe's wouldn't take it back because it had been more than 48 hours so I was stuck. So I reached out to Husqvarna and their "customer service" sent me to the local service center, which is big R. So I took the chainsaw to Big R and explained to the cashier what the issue was. Things seem to be going fine, but then he said there would be a service fee. Obviously, I did not feel that was right as this was a brand new chainsaw and if anybody should be paying anything to fix it, it should be Husqvarna. So he called this manager over. This is basically where the whole problem started. From the get-go this manager, Michelle made it very clear she had zero interest in helping or moving the problem forward. All she offered was to make sure I was aware I was gonna be responsible for paying this. She never said anything like "this is what you need to do". It was just "you didn't buy this here so it's not our problem" . So I left thinking I'd take it somewhere else. I reached back out to Husqvarna and they said just take it back and Big R will submit it as a warranty repair. Wondering why Michelle had said NOTHING about this I brought the chainsaw back that same afternoon. I dealt with the exact same cashier who knew exactly what was going on. And I left the chainsaw to be repaired. Fast-forward like six weeks later. (Because they don't even do the repairs in Santa Fe. They had to send my chainsaw to Colorado.) I get a call that it's ready and I immediately ask is there a $ balance. sure enough they're trying to charge me about $60. So I told him no I'm not paying that and I hung up the phone. I continued receiving calls from various people and I ended up hanging up on all of them. I'll give them credit for continuing to escalate up the chain but I never asked for that. They could have thrown the saw in the trash for all I cared. But every person i spoke with wanted me to jump through hoops instead of just reaching out to Husqvarna to get paid. Pretty sad these people are so stupid or lazy they can't make this simple connection. Finally I get a voicemail from some regional manager and he waived the fee but also made it a point to tell me my business was no longer welcome. Gee! Ya think?! This is such petty Gen Z "you were mean to us" behavior. Yeah don't look at your manager Michelle's massive failure here. Blame the customer. Trust me Big R, you didn't get any money from me and you never will.
