They need Volunteers! The Volunteers here are wonderful. They give the dogs and cats their time and love while awaiting forever homes. The shelter is need of donations as well. The main things they need are: Gallon bleach, Laundry soap, Wet pate dog or puppy food, and paper towels.

We have never been apart, and they have never stayed away from home. But I had a business trip that was going to require us to travel, and we didn't have anyone that could take care of them. I had expressed this to a few people and they said, "Do you not know about Moon Doggies?" Long story short, we know now!!!! Thank goodness!!! What a game changer!!! After meeting Kelly and touring Moon Doggies, we were at least confident to give it a try and move forward with our plan. We dropped the girls off Friday. And picked them up today, Monday. Throughout their visit with her, we received photos and updates that reassured us that all was going very well! But when we saw our pups today and they were happy and content, it through us over the Moon!!! Total game changer - we feel like we have a new member of our team, and that maybe we can start to travel a bit now without the ultimate hard stop because we don't have a great place for our babies. They love our animals and take very good care of them. They always welcome the crazy situations that come up at the last minute and get our pets seen. We were scheduled quickly, and the cost was much lower than our previous vet in another state! We've been very happy with the care our pets receive here. I have one dog with a severe allergy issue and they worked with us to help him feel better, eventually getting testing and on allergy drops. They didn't push us to this route right away, but let us know our choices and were ready to help when we were ready to pursue this path. I've got a dog with lameness now and when things didn't improve after first visit they got us in for more discussion/x-rays and walked me through our options going forward. Even offered to refer us to specialists. The staff love on my dogs, and my dogs love going to see them. We have been pleased with the care. Prices have jumped in the last 2 years, but they have been good about waiving things(like the extra x-rays) or suggesting where to get products cheaper. We(and our dogs) love Cleveland Veterinary Hospital!

It's…read morebasically the "one stop shop" for all of your pets' needs, handling everything from a minor illness or injury to major surgery or even pet emergencies; they have a fantastic groomer, they have very nice kennel facilities for boarding. The front desk staff greet your pet by name (and usually with a hug or scratch on the back!), the vet techs are super friendly and patient with the animals, and Dr. Eddleman's quality of service cannot be beat. One thing that stands out about Dr. Eddleman's service is that she isn't going to just shove a pill down your pet's throat or immediately suggest surgery - we've all been to vets who like to "pad the bill" by suggesting costly meds or surgeries right off the bat. Dr. Eddleman takes a different approach; she actually prefers to go the less-invasive (and less costly) route of changing diet or adding an herbal supplement to the pet's daily routine, and only prescribes medicine or surgery when it is absolutely necessary. I appreciate that approach since I have multiple pets! And whatever Dr. Eddleman recommends for your pet is right there in the office; they keep a fantastic stock of herbal supplements, toys, flea/tick treatments, medications, and an extensive variety of food for a wide range of dietary needs. Another thing I love about Mt. Yonah Animal Hospital is that the facility is brand spanking new, so everything is "state of the art". And it's obvious the staff keep everything super clean and shiny throughout the day; I have never seen a vet office with such clean, fur-free floors, windows, and kennel facilities! Took my cat to get neutered at their van and they left him with an open wound. He was dripping…read moreblood from his incision within a couple hours. He hadn't touched the incision site at all. He didn't do anything but lay on the floor after we got home. It was almost like they didn't stitch or glue or anything to the incision. There is also excessive bruising all the way from his butt to his lower abdomen. My baby is miserable. I would never take another animal to their spay/neuter van. I ended up taking him to the emergency vet just 3 hours after I brought him home.
