I showed him the tattoo and he said it was impossible to do due to the level of detail. It was a side neck tattoo from my ear to the end of my neck and for whatever reason he had come to the brilliant conclusion that he had to fit the whole tattoo on his 4x6 business card??? He rejected to do all the back up art I tried to give him, which were literal branch designs, and not only told me he couldn't do it but said I couldn't get it the way wanted it and it would have to be upside down with the end of the branch growing upwards because thats how trees grow. If I wanted my tattoo a certain way dont tell me you're going to do it another way, I clearly wanted it that because its for ME!?After like 10mins of being rejected of any art I saved, I asked what would be a possible design to do he had the nerve to tell me it was an infinite possibility! He planned on charging me $150/hr as well!!! I went about 15mins down the street to Atascocita and not only got the first design I wanted for $120 but it took less than an hour to do so!!! Literally walked in, showed the guy the design and he said "yeah we can do that" in less than 15 seconds of looking at it! Either way do NOT go to this guy! There are cheaper and def better artists!

I went to Lunar for my 18th birthday making it my first tattoo. I met my artist she was the lady with black hair and glasses (I don't remember her name:/) and she was extremely nice from the get go. She did a small butterfly outline on my wrist and four hand drawn hearts, they both came out amazing. Her line work was very clean and I am very happy with my tattoos. She put the stencil on me first and made sure I was happy with the placement, she always asked me if I was happy before she did anything. Went during their Friday the 13th event (first time doing the Friday the 13th tattoo thing) NEVER…read moreAGAIN . I chose 3 flash tattoos that were small, simple and cute. The artist seemed confident but the work that was done was just not up to par. The artist has said they will work with me to cover up but I very much would like to have them removed. I don't trust that I won't be in the same situation with a now bigger tattoo. I have asked for the artist to cover or partially cover the cost of the removal but it's a no go. They are only offering to rework it. They have apologized and recognize that the work is not good so why not pay for me to remove your bad work? I'm going to work on an idea for a cover up but have asked for a different artist. Be weary if you go to this shop, they got deals and I now know why. My partner received a tattoo from a different artist and his tattoo is sick so not sure why the disparity in talent. The artist that did my tattoo also did a friend's piercing and there was no issue. The environment the artist cultivates is good the work is not at least not on me. Hopefully we can fix it or I'll just get it removed.
