Wings was life changing and life saving. From the office support staff to the care team and the therapist, they were all a great support team. I saw a clinician for testing about 4 weeks ago. She told me it would take 3 weeks to get the results. I reached out Wednesday it had already been 3.5 weeks at this point since my appointment, via email I was told they were still waiting for the executive director to review it. I called the office today to ask if they had any information on how much longer it would be after some back and fourth she says " I know your anxious about this...". Besides it being very unprofessional it does make me wonder how would she know this if she doesn't know me ? Is she looking at my private medical files ? btw the testing clinician was amazing 10/10 read more

Office Staff (Jay, Luz, and Sam): Their PATIENCE is incredible. Even when I ask the same question they don't get impatient. Insurance hastle- there is none because of them. They are a HUGE reason why I'm not going out and searching elsewhere. LORI SHIELDS is our marriage therapist and the way she balances sensitivity with pushing us to further and improve our communication skills is a HUGE skill of hers. I assure you that even after we reconcile we will be needing her therapy. I should have looked at these reviews prior to engaging with trying to receive services. After a month of "insurance verification", I received a call that my dual coverage insurance would cover my child's testing. Then I received an email that they would only bill insurance for the 2nd of their billable hours with me paying the 1st half. Of course insurance does not work like that when in network so I called Anthem to discuss this. Anthem spoke with them directly and they stood by this new "policy change." Anthem explained to them that all hours billed regardless of coverage, must be billed to them prior to the patient. Long story short, they followed up with an email informing me to find care elsewhere. An insurance grievance is being filed and the Anthem recorded call as well as emails have been flagged for their review. read more

Not sure why these people on here are trippin.. I've had the honor and privilege to work with the Men's recovery program for 4 weeks now, and I'm honestly feeling better mentally, emotionally and otherwise than I have.. well ever.. I already feel like a brand new dude.. I suffered a mental break after nearly 5 years as a Marine Corps Reservist, and ADR Wellness has helped me make leaps and bounds into reintegrating into society in a healthy, balanced and psychologically sound manner. My daughter is dealing with some significant mental health concerns to include suicidal ideation. I took her here to be evaluated. The woman who did the testing was very nice and said it would be done within 30 days, but 30 days have come and gone and I've had to leave 2 voicemails and 2 texts so far and no results! I will be filing a complaint with my insurance and have these people refund the cost of the evaluation if I do not receive the results within 10 days! Not to mention I had to drive an hour and back two times for the evaluation expecting to get the proper care I need for my daughter!! read more

Don't let the ambiance fool you. The exams are done by students with reviewing clinicians signing off on their reviews. Unfortunately there is minimal to in our case- no oversight- and the interpretations are left to novice providers with limited experience in neurodevelopmental delays who then relay their opinions and judgment to the reviewers- so it is like telephone x3 with the most intimate parts of you or your child's life. The diagnosis received may not be in the current DSM now or ever. If you dare question the diagnosis and rationale based on their objective data and subjective history provided expect to be insulted, told "you're not an expert" and for the facility to stand on their laurels of "being recommended by Tricare". read more

BEWARE OF BILLING PRACTICES! Update as of March 3, 2023: Despite the lengthy & off-point response from ADR, I still have not been reimbursed for the four sessions in December for which they fraudulently charged my card. And more importantly, for which they have NOW BEEN PAID TWICE! I had to dispute the charge with my bank & spent hours writing out an explanation, clarifying on the phone, collecting evidence from my insurance that the claims were paid, & searching my statements for results. If ADR was what they claim to be, they would've reimbursed my money by now! My insurance paid for my final session on 1/18/23. I have the EOB. The other sessions were paid weeks prior. WHERE IS MY REIMBURSEMENT? ADR does not care about my wellness. Original post: I have Medicare and a plan F supplementary which pays for everything Medicare doesn't pay for as long as Medicare approves. Everything--remaining 20%, deductibles, everything. Still, ADR insists on charging my credit card every single visit, 20% Medicare doesn't cover. Plus, they charged my card for the deductible that had already been paid for 2022. They say they'll reimburse my card "if" my secondary pays. In under 25 days, my secondary paid for my first session. I've not been reimbursed; nor have they fully reimbursed the deductible they fraudulently charged on my card. This is despite a lengthy conversation with the "Director of Operations" (which I will discuss in a moment) and extensive back and forth with the head doctor, Alisa Brady. (They still owe me $127.12. I had 4 sessions and that is the 20% paid by my supplementary.) And I never authorized them to charge my card for these things anyway. The paperwork I signed prior to starting sessions said nothing about this abhorrent policy. It said the client had to pay if their insurance doesn't cover something or if I miss an appointment without notice. Perfectly reasonable. I signed agreeing to that, but I never signed agreeing that they could charge my card. I was not informed they would charge for my deductible that was met for the year or that they'd charge me for each session every week even though my insurance covers it, nor that they'd charge me on Jan 1st for the new deductible even though I had other procedures prior to my next appointment with ADR which would more than meet my deductible AND my insurance covers it! How can they charge me for my deductible when I haven't even been in? I first spoke to Jodi, "Director of Operations." (She's very proud of her title & shouted it in my ear the first moment she got on the phone.) It was a terrible phone call, & Jodi was one of the most condescending people I've spoken with in a long time. She was also rude & bullying. Most importantly, she repeatedly claimed that (1) the paperwork I signed contained this information (it did not) (2) the policy was "for my benefit" (4 charges and credits a month to keep track of, plus fees & interest? No!) & (3) that my deductible had not been met for this year. I had her check that, and she discovered it actually had. Shortly after this conversation, ADR sent out a new document for clients to sign which was overly complicated. It explained this policy-sort of. I debated the policy vigorously, as it clearly punishes poor, disabled people. I can barely afford my part F supplement, but it's more affordable than the thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of dollars in medical costs I would have without it. I pay for it so I do not have to pay out of pocket. I can't have 4 charges for over a hundred dollars a month each month to deal with plus interest & fees, & have to track if they've credited me back properly - especially since they can't seem to keep things straight in just a few sessions! To charge clients even when insurance pays is shady. When I called my supplemental insurance company to ask about this, even they called it "greedy"! The head doctor said they do this to make sure their therapists get paid. Are they not financially solvent? The whole thiing is suspicious and just plain old crummy for clients. read more

Great staff, excellent therapists! My son has struggled for over 4 years with depression and anxiety and we finally switched to ADR after researching and finding out that they have such a great program, from minimal counseling to outpatient to inpatient, depending on needs. They use CBT and DBT methods to help him think about specific coping strategies and about how he views situations around him and it's made a big difference for him. He loves his therapist, Paul. He's a great listener, provides excellent feedback in a compassionate way, orchestrated thorough testing and connects with my young adult son through humor and common interests. I should add that ADR's testing results showed my son has a disability that my gut had thought he might have for years but every other facility and counselor had brushed it off. Lucy has been my therapist for a hear now. She has changed my life! She was my EMDR therapist at first. Then she also became my general. I've had alot of therapists and she is probably the best one I've ever had. I have nothing but great things to say about her. Shes so supportive and goes out of her way for her clients. I've had such a great relationship with the staff in that office. They employ amazing therapists. Would highly recommend to anyone with trauma, personality disorders or depression and anxiety. Would also love to give Jodi a big compliment she use to lead one of my groups and she has also made such an impact on my life. Once you get to talking to her you wont want to stop.
