I wish I could leave zero stars. We took my daughters prom dress to get hemmed. They told me it…read morewould be over $400 dollars. That is more than I paid for the dress. I thought this was a reputable place since I have taken clothes there and have been pleased. Last year it was a little over a hundred. I thought that was much but they told me up front and I paid for it. They call me less than 7 days before the prom with an outrageous price of nearly $500 for a hemming. I am very disappointed. I will definitely have to take my services elsewhere. We gave them plenty of time to do the dress. It has not been touched and with less than a week when I need it you call me....please!! I know who she is talking about. He's fine. He doesn't misbehave. He doesn't do anything other than hang with his mom. For someone to complain about him staring is kind of silly, and I hope this reviewer never has a child with a delay. I honestly wouldn't worry about this family. Price Range: One row of Maytags run about 2.75 Two rows of Super Huge 6.00 these are good for comforters The next size down I believe there's two rows, those are 5.00 The next size down is the double loaders and those are I think 3.00 The next size down I believe is 2.00. The Maytags spin out really well. The staff is very quick to keep things clean. I will say that some of the machines sometimes need to be fiddled with at the coin slot. If mine has gone in but not registered, I'll give it a smack a couple times and it goes in. The Maytag works the best.

However, after calling to voice my complaint, I will not be going back on Tuesdays and recommend you don't either. My dryer died, so I washed 4 loads of laundry @ home and took them here to dry. (I usually go to Saline if I need a laundromat). I placed my clothing for a family of 7 in 2 large dryers. There was a man there that, I know now was with his mom and has a mental diability, but he stared at me and a few other women customers and paced through the building. I left briefly to run to the grocery store. When I returned, my clothes were dry so I began folding them and the same man continued the staring and pacing and never took his eyes off of me. I am a 43 year old woman that doesn't get freaked out about much, but I have never felt so uncomfortable and creeped out, almost violated. At times he was 3 ft. away from me just standing still and staring. The employee that answered the phone did apologize. I told her I wish I would have said something while I was there. She told me the mans name and said he comes there every Tuesdays with his mom and if you ask him to leave you alone, he will. I have 4 kids and 3 step-kids and if they were misbehaving in public I would control the situation. This was completely unacceptable. If I were the business owner knowing that this man comes every Tuesday, I would inform his mother that he needs to sit and not walk around creeping out the customers. That's all.

This is the second laundromat I've been to since moving to Michigan a couple of years ago. I'm not…read morea regular user; I only use the laundromat for our large blankets, comforters, and bedspreads that don't fit in our washer at home. I'll confess I didn't compare prices before, but rather just used the place my wife had used before in Tecumseh. Today I turned left instead of right when leaving our subdivision, because I wanted to combine trips and buy something in a store in Brooklyn. Both laundromats are about the same distance from our house. I'm very happy I did! The last place I used charged $6.00 per load in the big front-loading washers I use for our larger items. Here the same size washer is only $4.25! Obviously, that's not a massive savings, but saving $3.50 on two loads is nothing to ignore, and you obviously can save even more if you have more loads. The attendant was friendly, and there was a fresh pot of free coffee too!
