I had a good experience here yesterday. I don't use laundromats typically, because I have my own equipment - however, my plumbing has issues right now, so I can't use my washing machine until the plumber comes. Plenty of parking. Machines are very clean. I appreciated having a lot of carts available to get the laundry from one place to another. Sometimes the card reader didn't read -but then it always took it when I tried a couple more times. Clothing came out clean, as expected. It was also done faster than I expected. Next time I will do fewer minutes (less than 30 min for a medium load) for the dryer -or I will combine 2 washing loads into 1 large dryer load. It came out piping hot-like hot potato hot!! Negatives: no air-conditioning (update/correction: They replied and said they do have air-conditioning /see their response below), and it can get hot on hot days if you're not in front of the fan. I completely understand, though, people are going in and out. If I need to use a laundromat again, I will come here. read more

The Platt laundromat was clean and had lots of units to use. I was able to get 3 loads done in a little over an hour; very efficient!

I really like this facility. It's very clean. They have credit card readers. The air conditioning works. They have free WiFi. The washing machines extract so much water that drying time is short. The attendant was friendly and helpful. After a nightmarish experience with a contemptuous and scurrilous attendant at filthy, stinking, stifling hot, buggy (flies) Mr. Stadium last year, I was really glad to find this place. read more

Did a great and quick job with helping me with doing laundry. Would be a four star, but almost left because the man who took my laundry was not wearing a mask. I almost turned around. The good thing is that when I picked up the laundry, there was a different person and he at least put his mask on before addressing me. And then he carried the laundry for me to my car. I gave them my own lavender dryer sheets because I cannot tolerate lots of generic detergent and dryer smells. Toxic. The laundry is not toxic and will not use things for 3 days given the man w/ mask. But overall, clean and very courteous. read more

I went to this place Sept 3, 2021 Saturday afternoon. I put $6.50 into the washing machine which is what I was suppose to pay for the machine that size, then the machine wanted $3.00 more and it would it give me back my quarters when I hit the coin return button. There was not anyone working to ask for help I walked all around looking for an employee. and the place had trash laying all around. I GOT RIPPED OFF $6.50, had to go elsewhere. Overall very happy w/ this laundry mat. The washers are a bit pricey, BUT the machines are newer, clean and have no issues. Driers are well priced and also great. My laundry is all clean and fresh afterward. Location is clean and inviting. I would give it five stars but there are not enough small machines, definitely need to have a few more. read more

This facility is very clean, friendly staff, easy access/ parking lot. Can pay for the machines with a card.

They charge you a service fee per time you swipe your card on each machine.There is no sign that says this. I spent $25 doing 4 loads of laundry in the small washers and one big washer because of the fees I didn't know existed. Edit: Some of these fees fall off after they are posted to your account, but the charges I received vs the cost of the machines don't line up. If you go there use change only. read more

Cleanest and fastest laundromat I've ever been to!! It's never to busy and I get my laundry done in less than a hour! I like how they have a card you can load money into ( sometimes glitches) but they are helpful with that! Also their drop off service is amazing! Folded my clothes neatly and even wrapped them to keep them from wrinkling!! The staff is always friendly and I always feel welcomed coming here! Our washer broke so I need a place to wash our laundry for awhile. This place is great! The machines work really well, better then my one at home that broke ever did. My laundry got really clean and lint free, and the spin cycle got them well wrung out, so drying was quick. Also the owner/attendants were very helpful and nice. Super clean laundromat with all new machines which means your time here is short because both the washers and dryers are so efficient! Go the old school route with quarters or load up a laundromat card and swipe the machines you use. Keep the card and reload the next time. If you load a card, you get 5% back on your purchase. So, I put in $20 and I get back $1--not a bad deal. Platt Laundromat also offers free and fast wifi for their patrons. I am a graduate student, so bring my laptop here to work in between loads of laundry. I have a condo sized laundry unit at home so I usually come with blankets and sheets. To be honest I don't know how Platt has the same rating as Mr. Stadium. One of the first times I've felt really mislead by comparing two yelp ratings. Platt was fine, but it's not attended and didn't feel as safe as Mr. Stadium. There wasn't really any comfortable seating. This is the best laundromat that I've been to in Ann Arbor. I decided to try a new place and I was not disappointment at all. Not only is there incredibly fast WiFi, there are several TVs and places to sit, which made the time pass by comfortably. It's been years since I used a laundromat. I used stadium laundry for about six years and liked the place. Platt Laundromat by comparison is not good. The triple load washers hold less than two loads and are expensive $4.75! Not enough room to move in this place. Isles are too narrow for people and baskets. The rolling laundry baskets are higher than the machine door which made it impossible for me to remove the laundry without dropping it on the floor. The dryer door on the lower unit is 2" off floor. Typically do laundry at another Ann Arbor laundromat but machines were out of order so I went to Platt Laundromat instead. Upon arriving at the facility, I found ample parking close to the door. Walking inside, I was greeted warmly by the friendly owner. The facility was super clean and the machines are all brand new and super efficient. I definitely spent less time doing my laundry than I normally do, while spending the same amount of money. I utilized the free wifi to work on homework and was even asked if I wanted the TVs turned off while I worked. SO nice! read more

Platt Laundromat is beautiful and very clean, including the bathroom. The owner is friendly and helpful. They have tennis balls for fluffing jackets in the dryer, which to me is one of the signs of a classy laundromat. I did not try the WiFi. My laundry definitely got clean and the time it took seemed reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone. My 2 small complaints are that they don't have a utility sink, so if you want to spot clean something before you wash it, or put water in your detergent bottle, you have to go in the bathroom. Also, they sell single use boxes of powder detergent and whole bottles of liquid detergent, but no mini cups of liquid detergent. I think most places don't, it's something I appreciate about Mr Stadium. Of course with better planning I would have had my own bottle of detergent. :) read more
