They will do what the can to help you and help you to make a recovery plan that works for you. It is very confidential and safe, privacy is important to them as they want you to feel comfortable so you can do what is necessary to get on the road to recovery. She perjured herself in court stating the other parent requested counseling notes when in actuality it was progress notes per email. Her testimony was used in the decision to remove joint custody from the other parent. She wrote a letter to the court and to the one parent's attorney but not to the other parent. She wrote false statements in the letter that she testified to. She accused the other parent of inappropriate behavior in the waiting room. When the other parent stated it was the step parent who was the aggressor and that she had recorded proof, this counselor did not respond to see for herself. Coercive tactic professional training Is something this counselor could use based on our experience.
