Do not go with this awful company! The salesmen are pushy and will harass you to no end. They make you sign a long 3 year contract then come and install "expensive" equipment that is absolutely garbage in your home. These people are horrible. They refused to put my money back on my credit card after denying me of services and never received any equipment. These people are very dishonest and literally transferred my calls to approximately 15 people. I never agreed to putting up my own equipment. They do what they want and consistently lie to you and change your words. These people are thieves. They put me through hell and literally made me sick. We used ADT for many years but never liked or trusted the service. The final blow was when our power failed due to a surge and was out for about four to six weeks when we were out of town. ADT never noticed!! We found out when we came home. Colossal waste of money for many years. Steer clear of them. PS They never apologized, explained or refunded our money. read more

The cameras and product seem like they can make one who owns the products feel secure at all times especially when away from home. However, my experience with the technician with regards to installation and billing have been an absolute nightmare. My technician Manny seems to be messing up a lot of projects as he would have to come back to my home for a third time to fix the same wiring issue on my doorbell camera that should not have ever been an issue to begin with. He also constantly pesters me with texts, phone calls and even bothers my family if I'm not able to respond right away. I can't recommend them, but willing to keep the products and subscription. read more

Signing up to ADT Securirt, BE CARFUL. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR 3 YEAR CONTRACT. You will have to buy yourself out of a contract to the tune of $900.+ After we got system put in the phone number we used to call the person that came to our house disappeared. Not a working number. ADT will not let uas out of contract. We have had trouble with system from the start. Never have we been able to set alarm system. and not been able to get the lights to go dark at night on the stayer. Becareful of 3rd party companies working for ADT. read more

My ring doorbell has been broken for over a year. The first few times I called ADT they tried to "troubleshoot" none of that worked and I have called and sent messages saying this needs to get fixed and I'll get we'll have someone contact you or my message gets ignored. I am at the point now where I am forced to have to deal with the drama of finding another company because of their lack of professionalism and inability to stand by their word that they take care of their customers. read more

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Took 21 calls, most were to offshore call centers that were unable to help. There is no path for escalation. Long wait times unless one calls Sales. Agents would not even give out the corporate phone number. They seem to shield managers from talking to customers. I have written ADT COO and President with no response. The explanation that switching from landline to wireless costs more seems ridiculous. It certainly shouldn't cost $15/mo more to pay a wireless provider. As for DIY, it was never even offered. ADT seems not interested in keeping a 24 year customer as a customer with an offer similar to what a new customer would be getting and trying to make it sound like a great deal. Our system became obsolete and ADT no longer supports it. They suggested we buy a completely new system Recommend avoiding ADT as it seems it is poor value in today's market. It seems that have gotten so big they don't have to concern themselves with customer service. Judging by the other reviews, our opinion is not isolated. read more

A disastrous experience. To many issues to list. The system had nothing but problems from day one. Plus, there is obviously no commutation on the customer service side. Six technicians came out to fix the same problem because they had no documents as to what the previous tech said was needed to complete the job. The worse company ever. I just moved into new million dollar home with security systems already installed and working. They made a contract on the phone with me to add some equipment and send me a installer. He said he be right back to get some equipment in his car. He came 40 minutes later and started removing my new equipment. Than he said that the price is going to be more than doubled. We did not agreed. I ask him to put everything back and leave. He left me with everything disconnected. Have no allarme now. Call the company they run me around and tell me to send them report and said that they want put my equipment back. Complete scam.
