I've had my alarm system for about a year and a half now and have had ZERO issues overall with the system. Any time I needed to get in touch with Matt with any questions I've had, he's always answered the phone upon my first call or called/texted back very quickly. He is very responsive. And the equipment and installation cost is very reasonable. When I first requested service, he answered everything without hesitation and installation was almost flawless, but was there immediately after to replace a faulty part and it's worked perfectly ever since. The monitoring services have always been super fast calling me (when I accidentally set off the alarm myself - either noise to the glass break sensor or opening a door without shutting off the alarm first - DUH!). And, they are extremely professional. The pricing for the monitoring services are also very reasonable. I once had a little glitch with the software that was sending me messages hours after I had set the alarm and left home and it kinda freaked me out that it said I had disarmed the system. I texted Matt since it would be a couple more hours until I'd be home again and he responded immediately and helped put my nerves at ease that there was no one in my home while I wasn't there. He explained how to resolve the issue and so far, no more incidents. I am about to call and find out how to potentially further protect the outside of my home with cameras. I stumbled across the page for Maximum Security while searching for another service. I happened to be in the market for a security system so I checked out the reviews and I was really impressed. I sent an email to Matt very early in the AM and received a reply shortly after. It was really important to me to have my system set up before moving into my new home and Matt went above and beyond to make sure that it happened that way with a short window of time to work with. The movers were literally moving me in as the tech was installing my system. During the install, the tech was unable to install a sensor on my outdoor laundry room door because the door did not close properly. Once I had the door fixed Matt came by on a Sunday afternoon to put the sensor up for me. He's very hands on, I can see why his business is thriving. He is all about service. Hands down the best security service in the biz! I'm not even sure where to begin with the awesomeness! Matt is beyond professional and friendly each and every time he has come to service the system, lightning fast too I might add! The technology is fantastic- you get an app on your phone that enables you to arm and disable while you're away! How cool is that?! We have used this feature many times with our dog sitter so we don't have to give away the code. It is also true what some of the other reviewers have said about Matt being there after an alarm was set off. My husband burnt some eggs in a pan that set off our smoke detector. Wanted to stop in an update my review after my first 6 months of service. I continue to remain extremely happy with the system. I've had two incidents where the alarm was tripped due to user error, and was called immediately by the monitoring center, they were polite, very courteous, and thorough in making sure the home was safe. The app MSS uses for their system has not had any issues thus far, it is as simple to use as the keyFOB they give you. I have zero complaints or issues. Once again Matt you are trying CYA! We were with you for 5 years, and as I stated we did not have any problems until last fall. And You did go on a bike ride with your daughter, and our house was never locked by the security because the hand remote would not work for the house sitter. You say you are open for business 9:00 to 5:00 every day of the week. I have never been verbally abusive to you,. You are too busy being rude. You only changed our batteries ONCE in 5 years and when the message appeared the monitoring board, YOU did something from home ONCE and another time you stood at my counter top and did something on you computer and left. You never changed the batteries buckt once in 5 years!!! And the new security company said they had been Disconnected so they wouldn't sound anymore! And while I am at it Matt, after my home and been burglarized and all my jewelry was stolen and my bedroom and bathroom trashed. You sat in my kitchen and proceeded to brag about all the jewelry you wife has. Do you have any idea how you made me feel??? Do You?? How insensitive, you didn't even care. So Matt Easterly drops batteries in my mail box that apparently go to my alarm system??? He then text me to tell me to install them myself. I called him to ask if this is how he does it with all of his customers. He said "yes, he always supplies all of his customers with complimentary batteries". When I called to get them installed, he told me to find another security company If I didn't like it. I will never recommend Maximum Security. He also uses used equipment he buys from craigslist and e bay for "your" new home security system. NEVER again. read more

One of my camera's went out 2 weeks after the install (incorrect wire used for such a long distance-could not supply power needed). The process to get that rectified was bumpy to say the least. No need for all the details, but it was enough hassle to not want to do business with Matt again. I'm sure that feeling is mutual as I held him to our contract. If you have no glitches and he gets it right the first time, your experience will probably be pleasurable like my first one was. But, in my opinion, add in some glitches and he is not capable of handling the situation. I felt compelled to update my original review. Hopefully, I am just the one off situation. I worked with Maximum Security for a security system in my home, that has a second in law quarters. Matt came over and gave me a great design for ensuring that I had full coverage, with 2 partitions, at the least cost. I really wanted to work locally and I am so glad I did!
