There's also a pharmacy and a holistic wellness center (massage, reiki, meditation), though the latter doesn't seem to be a huge focus overall. I agree with another review that the communication between departments and the billing can be areas of headache. But the latter seems to be an issue in many Healthcare facilities. It would be great if doctors consistently looked at each patient as an individual vs relying on broad generalizations. But again, it's a systemic issue. Located across from the renovated Valley Hospital, luckow is much easier for parking and navigation purposes.

The staff/docs were great and caring. The second time I went for food poisoning and the PA gave me some good advice about how to introduce certain foods/proteins back into my diet slowly while my body readjusts. I recommend AFC to anyone, they accept a lot of insurances including certain Medicaid plans. Check the website for more info regarding insurance or give them a call!

Perhaps it was because I was the last patient of the day and he had the time, but this was the first time in a very long time, if any, that I have felt really heard by a doctor. I am dealing with a few health concerns that other doctors have dismissed or minimized, and at no point did he do that or make me feel any type of way for expressing my concerns. I am so beyond grateful that a friend referred me to this practice. I have a few other appointments scheduled with specialists in their practice, and I really feel like this will be a huge upgrade for me in my health moving forward!

The UES location is in a convenient location to where I live, has appointments available later in the evening (after work) and is covered by my insurance, which is why I picked to come here for my PCP. When I pick any kind of new medical professional, I always cross reference providers covered by my insurance with Yelp reviews to make sure I am going somewhere reputable. So when I saw this place was only 2-stars, I was very weary about coming here, but chose to give it a shot because I wasn't finding anything else better. Overall, I am happy I came here so far, and have had a good experience. The office itself is nothing special at all. I did expect a nicer facility given its on the UES, but it didn't really effect my visit. The receptionist was very very nice and accommodating. I had a 6:30 appointment and they took me right away, I didn't have to wait besides filling out my forms. I saw Dr. Kimberly Dy and she was very nice and I felt comfortable. I hadn't been to a primary care doctor for about 2.5/3 years so I was a little nervous, but everything went well. I have been having weird headaches and she addressed that, and made me feel reassured and offered me good suggestions on how to help them. I also had low vitamin D, and low iron levels in the past, so she tested me for that and a gamete of other things. They use Klara as their portal for messaging and they were very quick to post my lab results and when I asked a question, they replied back quick as well, which is really nice. So far I am happy with this practice and I will be going back.

They will then send you an immediate text where you fill out the paperwork. The entire process took less than 5 minutes to complete. You can then monitor your place in line via there website, which was quite convenient because you don't have to wait inside their office. There were about 10 patients ahead of us, but they move quite quickly. We checked in at 10:26 and were out by 10:52. Christine performed our tests. She was friendly and very professional. All you need is your drivers license. They accept insurance, but also take patients with no insurance. The test was free of charge. The results were ready less than 48 hours later. You have to create an account with Quest Diagnostics to access results.

They have you check in through their iPad and then fill out a paper form. They collect payment prior to the visit, and without insurance, the cost is $120. English and Spanish are spoken at the office. When I walked in, it was pretty late at night, so it was not crowded. I was visited by the doctor quickly, and the operation began. They send the prescriptions right there, so make sure you have the address and name of your favorite pharmacy at hand. Will definitely return for any messes I find myself in. They are open until midnight.
