As a new patient I assumed there would be paperwork. No one was in the office and the door was locked. When I saw the lights come on at 7:58, I tapped on the window to get into the waiting room and the receptionist hollers at me "you have to wait two minutes until we open." What? I can't sit down? When you are sitting right there to let me in? (2) I came to the doctor with a need for a urologist, a neurologist, and a therapist. I am having some female issues and I was hoping she could give me a recommendation for a urologist. She looked at a picture I had from a previous surgery by a world renown doctor and said, "You have a prolapsed bladder." Huh? I have been to many doctors, urologists, and gynecologists and none of them have ever indicated that I have a prolapsed bladder. (3) I have severe endometriosis and told her I had had an endometrial nodule in a sensitive area. She said that wasn't possible until I showed her a picture I had of my insides from the doctor. Didn't have much to say after that. (BTW, the world renowned doctor is Dr Salgado in Puerto Rico. He is a Harvard lecturer on endometriosis. (4) I don't appreciate Christian prayers being displayed in a consultation room. If those are your beliefs, that's fine, but I don't need you to put up a poster about being a good Christian business woman. (5) I asked for standard bloodwork as this was an initial visit. I also need to get the levels of some of my meds monitored. She was reluctant to run a standard A1C, Glucose, Liver, Thyroid test although the size are SOP for a new patient. She told me that if I needed blood work, she would do it "this time," but in the future I needed to contact the doctor that needs the results and get a blood test through her. Why?!? When she decided she would do the blood tests, she couldn't find the form to send with me to do the tests *sigh* I will not go to or recommend this doctor.

I was amazed at the immediate dates available 12/9 and 12/10. I picked the earliest date which was dec 9th at 11am. I recieved 4 text messages from them, 1 to pre-register and 2 to confirm my appt. Which I did and the 3rd was confirming my confirmation. I took off for this appt. I live in Norwalk and work in NYC. The day of my appt 12/9 at 9:09am I received a call from the office advising me they have to cancel/reschedule my appt due to over booking. The receptionist gave alternate dates of 12/10 and 12/11 after I advised her I just took off from work for this appt. She still insisted these were the days available between 9-11am With total disregard that I just told her I have a full time job which I took off for Today. I then asked for an afternoon appt so I would not miss work again. She said no Dr Meky is booked until March. I am not sure if the doctor is aware but her staff is very inconsiderate and clearly incompetent at managing her appts. Dr Meky was recommended to my by one of her patients who told me the staff did the same thing to her after she waited months for her appt.
