I walked in to get replacement earrings for myself. After a recent visit to my doctor's office and a recommendation to stop wearing the particular kind of earrings I was wearing, I was lucky to stop in here. I made a b-line for the case that housed gauged spacers for ears and was immediately greeted by a staff member. I was asked the obligatory question that every person that ever worked retail is to ask a customer. For once, I really did need some assistance. I explained to her my situation, and then she looked a little puzzled. Lucky for us, her coworker was nearby and overheard everything I said to her. His recommendation was better than my doctors, if you can believe that. My doctor recommended going for an acrylic spacer. However this gentlemen who was helping me at the time knew more than my doctor. He suggested that I used ones that are made of titanium, wood, glass or bone. He also let me know to rarely use the acrylic ones due to the fact that they can harbor bacteria more so than other earrings. On top of all the nice information that this fine gentlemen bestowed on me, there was a deal on the gauged earrings. Buy one and get the second one for $1. Bonus! During checkout, I was given more information about another type of earring that unfortunately Spencer's doesn't carry. In the future, I will probably stop back here to look for other needs on this.

They also sell some lovely glass and ceramic items here, many of them Pittsburgh/Squirrel Hill themed. Also the staff is always pleasant and helpful. The bras and underwear are reasonably priced; they're not necessarily cheap nor are they expensive. The quality of the product is decent as well. I tend to lean towards bralettes and this store was a great variety and selection of options. They always seem to have some sort of sale going on so that's definitely a plus! They especially have great bundle deals on undies. Last time I was in the store it was 10 pairs for 35 dollars, which just comes to 3.50 a pair. So my problem with this is I NEVER PAY THAT MUCH AT A TIME. now I do go to many different dispensaries in the area so Rise in Latrobe for example my points work like this... $3 off for every 100 points or $15 off every $500 points and so on. And I can use them all at one time if I want to I am not just limited to 20% off my order. Now Beyond Hello in Irwin does $10 off for every 200 points (and again I can use them all at one time if I want to... Not limited to 20% off my order) so with 1000 points at beyond hello that's $50 off my order how ever I want to use it. Also at Rise and Beyond Hello as I said I can use my points as I like, example I used points one day at rise and ended up only paying $1 for 7 grams. At Matri you can't do that because they LIMIT you to 20% off each order. Just putting that out there but as I said I do find some of the best deals at matri. If you don't care much about the points or you care more about getting the better deals in the area this would be a great location for you

This location is great when we are headed toward Ross Park Mall.. except for the giant hill of an entryway that... denoted by the scratches in the pavement... has removed a good number of bumpers! Sooooo... we are excited that they are relocating down the road. Still... shelves upon shelves of meticulously curated categories with sub categories and alphabetized authors.... Maybe we love this because we are both such detail oriented people! My wife and I love to remember our favorite authors and hunt down where they are. We spend far too many minutes sitting on the floors of the sections thumbing through shelves and pages.
