I have been shampooed and styled immediately on arrival. Haven't waited a moment which is impressive. She does one persons hair at a time. I was in and out in one hour! And I love my hair. In addition to being a great stylist, being at her salon is easy. The salon is clean, bright and prices are competitive. I live in Montgomery County and the 30 minute drive is worth it! read more

I love my braided updo! At the last minute, I decided I needed a protective style for swimming and Adunni was very responsive. I was able to get an appointment within a day. The location is convenient, has lots of parking and her room in the suite is very pleasant. I had a picture of the style I liked and it turned out really nicely. I am on the fence about what to rate my experience. I asked for knotless box braids and got box braids WITH knots. When I felt the first row I got worried and showed her more pics and she said she had it. She didn't have it. Overall she did a good job on the braids, although some are loose at the root. I think that was part of her attempting the knotless look. When I told her these weren't knotless she told me to flip them over and the knots won't show. Say why now? Needless to say, I was not happy when I left the salon. After thinking about it for some time, I was thankful that the style was neat and I could still wear it for my vacation. If I wanted regular box braids it would be a 4-star rating, because of the loose roots. Not getting what I asked for, but still a neat style that works warrants 3 stars. I think the braider needs to practice and perfect her knotless braiding technique, or just say they don't do them. I was originally quoted $200 and up depending on size and length. When it was all said and done I paid $180...essentially what I would have paid for regular box braids. Clearly this is a very specific technique as the other salons I called were charging $350 and up. I thought I was getting a deal. Not so much... But I am appreciative that what I got is neat and functional. read more

These braids are literally PERFECT! Every single braid looks the same and most importantly my head didn't and doesn't hurt afterwards! No one else is allowed to touch my head for feed-ins... ever!! Also I have a full head of box braids and my hair took only about 4 hours or less... felt like I was in and out! read more

Overpriced and unprofessional. How can you complain about other clients and be cursing in the studio. I get it's a salon, but honestly.
