After wearing braids for almost 10 mths straight, I felt it was time to explore and find a new stylist and salon to make my home. After three months of stalking their IG page (lol) and also looking at other salon pages, my heart settled on Cole Stevens. I knew the Belle Point location would be ideal because I lived in the BWI region, so I decided to book an appointment with Renee. After reading Renee's bio, I knew she was the stylist I wanted based on the look and creativity I was looking for with my hair. Let me just tell y'all, this team did NOT disappoint me. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and treated like a A-list client. The team was amazing; and can I just tell you how Renee slayed this hair of mine!!!! I went in for one look, but after she shared her knowledge and expertise regarding my hair we decided to go with a different look and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!! I can now say that I've found my new stylist and salon. Thank you Renee and the entire Belle Point Staff for your great service and professionalism. You ladies ROCK!!!

Without those things, the service becomes little more than someone else's opinion at someone else's price. Clear communication shouldn't be optional, especially when expectations or pricing may differ from what a client reasonably anticipates. No one should leave an appointment feeling confused about either the outcome or the final bill. Trust is built through transparency, professionalism, and making clients feel heard. When those things are missing, even the most talented stylist can leave a lasting disappointment. Trust takes time to build and only one appointment to lose.

Soft grays, pinks and a lil bling made me feel like my hair was going to match the sass! The receptionist was super professional, offering those waiting coffee, tea, or wine (heeeyy!). My stylist, Bre, was finishing up her client so I had a chance to sit and observe (inspection glasses on, notepad out!). All employees were dressed in black which lends itself to a uniform appearance (plus!). The place was clean and organized. The coat hooks were these adorable scissor shaped - very cool. The music in the salon was on point...a nice R&B blend. Bre did an awesome job on my braids. I LOVE that her service includes shampoo, blow dry AND the braiding hair. Those of us who get braids know that we usually have to come prepped (shampooed) and sometimes have to bring the hair. Anyway, we discussed future braid styles because ya girl will be back to see Bre!

She's was very nice and pleasant with my son, but unfortunately there was some inconsistencies following through on the scheduled time. TO HER DEFENSE she was ill both times, but in two different instances over the course of about 14-18 days apart. This resulted in both of my appointments being cancelled. Once we had an out of town trip, the second we had a family reunion. In both cases I booked my appointment early enough to cover my events and both appts were cancelled on the DAY of the scheduled appointment which left me no time to book another appointment. My son has braids so the day of or the night before we're removing the braids and detangling his hair into a bush, just for our appt to be cancelled? ALL OF THIS is OK, but when I asked for my deposit back so I can book another appt with another stylist I was told NO it's non-refundable. I feel that was unjust and I didn't cancel, we were not late, we just are choosing to go another route going forward. I didn't want to come on here and write a negative review, but at this point I'm tired of my time, or my dollar not being valued. I wish her well and much success, but the business she's in tough. They have been in the business of helping people mainly with hair loss issues for over 15 years. There are lot of people who have thinning hair, alopecia, male pattern baldness and don't know what to do. If you have embraced your thinning hair, great -however if you are at your wits end and If you don't know what to do, then this is place to call. There are no rows of Stylists here, client privacy is of paramount importance with private salon rooms. Hair Fantasy is NOT a one size fits all they really do try to make it a special experience for each client. Women from another well known hair loss clinic sometimes show up at Hair Fantasy because they didn't know there was an alternative in the area. They are exclusively offering laser treatment to combat hair loss and increase hair growth, in the Greenbelt area. If you are coming in from out of town - call ahead for recommended places to stay. While Hair Fantasy specializes in Hair Replacement technology and Hair units they also know how to whip up some fantastic hair styles. Frankly, this is my go to hair spot and I do not have a hair loss issue so even if you don't, you should still give them a call. They won't talk you to death unless you want them to. They are professional and friendly.There is no loud music, obscenity or the like - reread the first sentence. If your idea of fun is sitting in a hair salon for hours on a Saturday then try enjoying your Saturday. Hair Fantasy is closed on Saturday but open - Sunday, Tuesday through Friday appointment only. Believe or not, those Sunday appointments book fast. IF I sound like I know a lot about them - I do - been a fan for years of Hair Fantasy!
